I had this happen on the first mish of an MSTF. The client just hung for over a minute before I terminated it (usually loads in 6-10 seconds). When I logged back in, I was off the TF, and found out that all but 3 had the same thing happen. After we reformed the team, everything went smoothly (except for GW whacking our blaster).
That is the only time it has happened to me, so far. -
Set IO's turned my Warshade from a controller/blaster/tanker wannabe, into a demi-god.
And made my scrapper pretty stellar too. -

Do what you are told, and obey the folks in charge here, and constrain your actions and speech (and posts) in the manner desired by them, and you will be fine. Above all, avoid what is FORBIDDEN.
Make sense?

LOL, you forgot the sarcasm tags. -
I have this on a couple toons and it still is broken
-
Most powers (and slots) are wasted on a Warshade, might as well put something useful in them.

I think it is self-suppressing to some degree. I almost always get the boost when I first attack a group. But the second and third Stomps usually do not trigger it again. My FS is on a 6-8 second recharge.

Do we get badges for that?
[/ QUOTE ]
Not sure, but I hear you get tickets for it, especially if you do it on an outdoor map. -
You can use another Steadfast (up to 5 total), if you want.

Did you know that the post you are responding to is nearly a year old?

The "new" farming (badge) mission that gave 4 merits, recently reduced to giving 2.

2.) Not everyone is a farmer. While you see a lot of screaming for meow teams, that's not all that's going on in the AE building - it may not even be the majority. It's just the vocal portion at the moment.
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed. I do mainly farming/PLing when my friends are not online. When we all go on together though, we play each others' arcs, find arcs that look fun and/or cater to our level range, do TF's, Rikti Mothership raids, Hamidon raids,
and yes, sometimes we spend an hour or two farming/PLing each other.

3.) If you want to do something else, ask your SG mates. If your SG is addicted to meow mix, then perhaps you need a new SG. My SG likes running farms, too, but I know if I ask to form up something else, I'll still be able to fill up a team. And that's without turning to the globals outside of my SG. It just takes a little more effort until the hype dies down.

You can also advertise in your server's forum, like Frog does for his weekly TF's. I check them once or twice a week, for the two servers that I play on.
Do not be afraid to advertise in the global channels either (Triumph Watch 2.0 and 2.1, if you are on Triumph, and Guardian and Level 50, if you are on Guardian), as people frequently (even now) get their teams filled that way.
Based on the majority of posts in the thread; I think you will have no problem getting together a team that is not all about farming.
Good luck, and have fun! -

I've gotta say (and this is mostly OBJECTIVE) that the Search function is borderline useless;
You cannot exclude words.
You cannot separate your search into Architect Name, Arc Name, Description, Enemy Group, or whatever, or any combination thereof.
You cannot even search by phrase, which is frankly rather pathetic- really, putting your search terms in quotemarks should limit it to those words, in that order, only.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is a lot of room for improvement with the search function.
However, you can pseudo search by phrase, by putting a plus
sign (+) in front of each word. This may also work in reverse,
though I have not tried it, by putting a minus sign (-) in front of words to exclude. -

Off topic, but I take notes on CoX by having a special tab that only tracks tells and sending myself tells with notes. I don't have an SG and I never team so it's pretty rare when I get tells, but if you do talk a lot, then you could do it with emotes.
[/ QUOTE ]
I use '/playernote [topic]' (eg, MA, ToDo, Badge Missions). If that might get confusing (was it Todo or To Do?), you can also just do '/playernote [yourGlobalname]' and put it all in one place. -

god knows kheldians and dominators couldn't lvl pre MA, obviously why there were never any lvl 50's before I14, then after 3 days of MA the game is flooded with lvl 50 doms and squids... ...
wake up.

I got my Warshade to 50 AND Purple IO'd in 3 days? Hot damn, I am good! -

I wonder how many people actually slot those powers for damage resistance.
-
Set your spawns to Hard instead of Easy.

Probably to prevent people from loading their arcs with the CoT's regeneration/recovery crystals.

They can only PFF if they are standing up

There will be an Edit button next to Reply Quote Quick Reply, but there is a time limit on editing (not sure how long).
Oh, and I forgot to the original reason I was here: I may have something available for Sister Psyche. I will have to check when I get home. -

You will laugh maniacally while your pets ignore all your orders and run around like robot chickens with toasters for brains, usually shooting and maiming enemies. But not always!
You will mock Masterminds for their need to "control" their pets, and point out how useful yours are on their own. See...they are over there pulling that spawn you were going to get to anyway!

Awesome! Thankfully, I put down the hot chocolate before reading this part. -

Tech support routinely asks people to get the latest or near-latest drivers.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, tech support does ask folks to go to the most recent driver. Then in my case they threw their hands in the air and left me hanging.
[/ QUOTE ]
They tried to do the same thing to me, when I petitioned about an error with my SG's base. I told them the error was happening to everyone in the SG (freezing when we tried to enter our base), and that it had been working earlier that night, so it was extremely unlikely to be my drivers, and I would not update them for performance reasons. They of course refused to help me any further. Thankfully, the next day was maintenance, so we were able to get back into the base then.
They really need to have better troubleshooting procedures. Sure updated drivers are important (for the most part), but they do not fix everything (not even close). They really should look at the symptoms as a whole (base crashing, multiple people affected, single SG/VG, in my case) and troubleshoot from there, instead of having a one-list-fits-all approach. -
