Just so anyone reading this understands - Grim Rainbow had to go AFK for abit and went outside, came back in towards end of the last mish and told him not been on mish long enough.

Shouldn't be a problem though as flew through the 2nd respec. I still know a couple of people needing to do it and I dont mind helping out.

Well we take it back (if not got it back already). Started to but had a respec organised so afew of us had to go (hopefully the rest stayed). Only Gatling on who kept kamikazing into us (got to admire his dedication).

As I said, no quite afew interested so be no problem getting team together (most are in my sg).

Yes last nite went on for bloody ages. I got off around 3ish after the villains were successful in stopping the heros capturing sirens (techincally wasn't stopping, more of killing them trying to slow them down).

Its to bad the other villains early on left sirens because we got slightly outnumbered. They really missed a great nite which ebbed and flowed. A big thanks to everyone for playing the game in the right spirit and making the nite very enjoyable.

No doubt I show my face tonight although I really want to level up my stalker just so that I can bring down heros (looks towards Shamen X - a damn fine empathy defender in my opinion) quicker than I tend to go down.

Ahhhhhhhh it was you. Heavy damage support = 4/5 villains pummeling away. Man you take one hell of a beating.

Last nite was very fun though (can't believe how late people are staying on now) even though in the mass battles lasted about 3 seconds.

The only tactics we had last nite was kill the damn empaths. Having two of them meant we got no where as heros were constantly buffed and healed.

Soz can only do evenings as working. However, I know of several villains looking to do the respec so wont have a problem getting a nice team together.

I still choose lousy team over solo - safety in numbers and all that. Alot of people are not used to PvP, and even those that are, they tend not to know there team very well. Once as said you get a regular team going you pick up on each other and know what to expect. You learn you teams powers and thus can come up with better tactics.

Sometimes I actually prefer all the chaos and carnage. You can have a lot of fun and a more even contest. You can hunt down the person that took you down etc. However, if they are in a team thats organised, then the chances are that it wont be too much fun (well taking individuals down is much much harder).

Having no tactics is not to bad if the other side are in the same position as you (pick up team or without said tactics) but often its not. You will either be the team thats organised or it will be the enemy. Either way one team tends to dominate.

Woot. I mean, a damn shame.

Cant do afternoons (I dont want to go back to work) but if all be well can do evening.

Well our strategy worked - having no one in base completly threw the enemy. It was a bold risky strategy which managed to pay off for us as we won lol.

Can anyone enlighten me on this subject. I tried to organise an instant base raid today but nothing happened. Had my supergroup meet me in base and after 5 mins it kicked us all out and then couldn't get back in.

Do you need to meet any minimum requirements for a instant base raid?

If you dont want to be one shotted become a tank. Its simple. I decided to try afew things with my Inv/Axe tank and can with stand 5 AS without dull pain (from one person so they go back into hide and wait for AS to recharge). I was quite happy with that and the stalker couldnt believe his eyes. If say multiple people attack I can with stand 3/4 AS if react quick enough and get dull pain activated.

As it has been said before if you are prepared you can take stalkers down. Hide/stealth is what they are all about. They stalk you and spotting them is not meant to be easy. If it was what would be the point of a stalker?. The other way perhaps to get around it is to be close to your team - then that job becomes more difficult for the stalker. As soon as they AS they become visable and this is where your team mates can get them.

I enjoy the game more with the way stalkers are at the moment (not the only one). I love the way it has made it more challenging. Its great seeing how people cope/react to what they are facing. It makes for more enjoyable PvP.

P.S. Tanks are not the only ones that withstand stalkers - some defender and controller builds can as well (by preventing the AS) such as the stalkers favourite storm controller.

I wouldnt mind doing it. Level 38 Corruptor ready and waiting.

Hmmmmmm can see both arguments. To some degree there is a limited amount of skill you can use. Its no surprise that some teams with particular builds in S4 got further - how many energy/energy blasters!

However like nightbringer and xanthus have said, tactics and skill do come into play (as well as knowledge). I guess this is much more apperent when fighting in teams. When fighting similar builds it will mostly be skill and tactics that separate the winner from the loser.

As far as i know it doesn't. I have knocked off many (no dirty thoughts please) and been victim to being knocked off but suffer no extra damage. You would think you would get extra damage for a forced fall but I haven't recieved anything. I think some thing must have got a finishing touch on you.

Thats my stance with couple of exceptions.

For my own reasons i not attack in PvP zones:

1)RPers engaged in RPing
2)badge hunters
3) people who declare a very valid reason to not do so or they send a tell asking

From your third comment im assuming a reason like a dual is not valid (as would have thought you would have put something like 4) wont attack people dueling or something similar).

I find it funny that you have these exceptions yet you dont mind attacking someone who is having a duel. They are not interferring with yourself (like all the exceptions you have mentioned). You dont attack people role playing cause you will ruin there enjoyment but you will attack an one on one and ruin theres. To me that dont make sense. It is also a reason why at the end of the day you should expect nothing in sirens call. There are no rules! Everyone has there different motives and there own rules/guidelines they adhere to. Its nice when you are fighting like minded people but then again getting revenge on the person who aggravated you (for whatever reason) is also very nice.

Agreed - far useful going for something else as the protection is negliable.

I have to agree with Icelock. A corruptor and brute make a great partnership.

For yourself you are probably looking at a thermal corrupter - they are very much support orientated and have buffs and heal. A kinetics corruptor could also be very useful.

Brute wise I would probably look at Super Strength and Invulnerability or stone armour. If your friend went for an Inv brute I would go for thermal corruptor, if your friend went for stone armour go for a kinetic corruptor.

You may all thank E.V.I.L. for recapturing sirens for the villains. Make the most of it and purchase the temp powers (can use outside of sirens call) before the heros notice.

Im far more interested in the perceived reputation I gain from the enemy. I love it when you see names you hate/recognise.

I maybe squishy but I try hard to give back just as much as I receive (going back to the original topic). Sometimes you feel hard done by and want abit of revenge. For example beating up the opposing person and his teams comes in to his rescue. I tend to enjoy abit of banter which will often lead to a one on one confrontation to settle our differences/score.

I feel this is part of PvP and that interfering with these battles does not do your reputation any good. The only thing it does is sour peoples enjoyment and make you a marked person (and all this for a tiny bit of bounty!).

Thought the second picture was kinda cool. Got to love mass action scenes of carnage
