TYVM! I also just returned after a 2 year break and was going to post on how to rebuild my 50 Fire/Kin for farming. Thanks for this thread - and for putting up a build that does not cost a billion inf

Question: how/what do people farm these days? Specific MA missions?

I'd love any advice you can give me on how to re-acclimate to CoH after a long absence. I have my 36 month badge and was pretty experienced when I left, but holy moley have things changed.

Specifically:
- Leveling: MA Farms?
Do most people get new toons through the low levels with MA farms? I got started last night an a very nice player (tyvm NBK!) got me from level 3-23 in one farm - holy cow! Is this how people level now - race to the end game?

- Zones:
It looks like the order and level of zones have changed - any links or guides on where to go after Atlas Park?

- Teaming:
I like CoH best in teams. When I left, I used to go to a zone that was my level, spam General to get a few folks together, and then we'd grind on Radio missions. How do people form groups these days? Are the Radio missions still the primary content? Or do people use Death From Below, Mission Arch, and other maps?

- Community:
What is the best way to get back into the Virtue community? Do people still hang out in Atlas and chat? Key server wide chat channels?

- Other:
Any other advice for a returning player? Should I be checking any new zones/content? Playing with Inventions? Figuring out what the heck an Incarnate is and what to do with my old lv 50 troller?

What happens to slots and higher level enhancements (SOs) when you exemp down to level 2-5 for a Sewer Trial?

I use my second build just for Sewer Trials. I thought I could 6 slot all of the level 1-8 powers and make them strong in Trials. Do I lose those slots when I exemp? Do my SOs become TOs?

I have an idea for an ice themed character - I love the ice primary - but do you think I'd be better off with the Ice or Fire secondary?

I'll be doing a 50/50 mix of team and solo. I just want a secondary that is effective and contributes. I like Ice but the forums seem to unanimously favor Fire for AoE and single target DPS. I figure I can just color the fire attacks blue to fit the theme.

Any thoughts? Also, if Ice is a really bad primary and hated on teams please let me know

I'd like to make an alt that is focused on supporting team - any suggestions for a fun combo? I imagine I am looking at a Defender, Corr, Dom, or Controller. The debuff sets with anchors (Rad, Dark, etc) seem to be tough because the anchor gets killed so fast, but I may be doing it wrong. The buffing sets (Thermal, Cold) seem to often almost annoy people when you cover them in armor they did not choose

Anyways, I am open to anything - just maybe give a pointer or two so stink less at it.

Which power pools are effective for Corruptors? I would imagine Tough and Weave are not worth it, but are they? What about Assault and Maneuvers - do Corr's get good bonuses for Leadership?

I'm doing Mids for an Elec/Storm and I seem to have too many choices now that so many powers are cheaper (Fitness, travel powers, etc.)

Can someone with more skill than I have help with some ideas on how to get close to this look? I have all the Barbarian pieces which seem to be a good fit - hard to make a trench coat or cape work and still get in the purple accents.

Are there images or bios of Statesman, Recluse and the others? I've seen a few here and there that I do not know that I'd love to read up on (e.g. the female hero on the VIP Starter Kit graphic on the main page, etc.).

Ah! Makes sense. TY. I have perfected the Sands of Mu line up technique so I can probably get AoE out of Cleave too.

Thanks! Um, I think I may be an idiot. I only see two AOE powers for Axe - Pendulum and Whirling Axe - what is the third?

Also it seems like all three sets have several - actually, too many - single target attacks. How do you pick the right mix?

This is my first Widow - the descriptions for the early melee attacks all say they do 'light damage'. Is that true? Should I avoid these and stick to the dart powers? Or are the melee attacks a decent way to level?

I understand that I'll have to sort of re-learn the class at 50, but that's OK. Right now I am just enjoying the pure fun of the farm as an alternate to my normal play.

I just found the fun of leveling a brute in the AE using farm missions. I've only played controllers and defenders to now so being surrounded by silly amounts of baddies is a real thrill.

I just have no idea what I am doing.

1) Some missions seem to cap at level 3 - should I run these constantly for some reason?
2) I see people talk about 'fire farms' - do I try and cap my fire resist and then go after these?
3) Any advice in general on how to find good farm maps, what the basic are etc.?

I am playing a dual blades/fire and it is great fun so far. Great change of pace from team based Controlling.
