I've been so swamped with work lately that I haven't been able to get on, but I am so Exceedingly excited about this, I can't even express it in words. I just hope things slow down enough for me to be able to get on and play the crap out of this issue!
-
I'm going to have to side with TrueGentleman that "Shoot them all" is not really an evil enough platform for me to get behind. Demoralization and long term goals really turn my vote.
That said, Silas seems to be pulling past his opponents in the pursuit of this position. His plans for a plump plebeian populous--a powerless puerile proletariat politically perplexed into passive patronage--practically pilfers my pick to put him in power.
However, this race isn't over yet. Good fight so far gentlemen. Now, wow me. The people of the Rogue Isle want, no, need to be amazed. Awe us. Make it impossible NOT to put you in office.

Thanks, this guide has been informative.

When I think evil and scheming, I think Silas.
When I think dutiful leader, I think Horus.
Oh, how to cast my vote.
So far Silas is up on the quick response time and the pithy remarks... but it seems that his evil plans mostly involve physical damage to his minionry. While I am, of course, a fan of Stalinist politics, I wonder if that's kind of underling slaughter is really where I want to put my faith.
So Silas, other than capturing princesses for their comedic pride, what do you plan on doing that doesn't involve physical, mental, or emotional damage to those working for you.
Horus, please catch up on the earlier questions so that we can presently get to know our candidates for future overlord.
All others with prospective hats in the ring, please explain what makes you more scheming and brilliant than Silas, and/or more dutiful than Horus.
Thank you,
The People of the Rogue Isles -
SHAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*tackle*
I'd love to!
When do you play most? We'll work something out, get on together, catch up, killl everything. It'll be great. Just lemme know. -
Wow.... Yup, this is why I missed you guys.

I had this song stuck in my head as I was trying to sleep last night...

*Glomps Horus*
*Hugs Angie and Ash*
*Glares at Slacker then hugs him anyway*
*Excitedly waves at everyone else*
I'm glad to be back! Everything seems both more and less new than I expected. The graphics are very pretty, and I'm remembering how to play, kinda like fitting back into and old skin and relearning how to walk.
The "tip" missions seem neat so far (I've only done a few), but some of them actually feel evil, and, well, that's kinda awesome.
I'm unimpressed with Dual Pistols, although they do look pretty... so I'm rethinking making Praetorian Mary as a Pistoleer (although it would be hot), how are the other new sets? Elec. Control looks like it has potential, but I"m scared of how low it's Damage Output seems... Maybe on a Dom... but then again, I've never been impressed by Doms.
Well, yeah, if anyone has any suggestions as to what do do with this pretty i18, or if you want to do anything to help me get reacquainted, I'm all ears. My free time will have to be split between this and SCII, because, hell, it's about time.
Oh, and what about the incarnate system, I see that got pushed back? Anyone know why, or how soon i19 might be around? That was the main part of GR I was looking forward to, and am kinda sad to see it not implemented yet.
Sorry about the long ramble, just excited to be back, and don't want to spam bmt with my questions.
*hugs* -
Hi all!
I don't know if any of you remember me, but about four or five months ago, my computer exploded (literally, it got struck by lightning which blew out the surge protector and made the power supply blow up). But, I'm finally back, and I just wanted to jump on and officially say hi.
I jumped on to make sure the install worked and saw yellow activity at 1am on a Sunday night... I was confused.
Anyway, I'm finally back again, and hope to see everyone alive and well, so, uhh, what'd I miss?

Haha, I loved it!
*stamp of approval* -
Aww man,
If I had more free time today, I'd alter up some Catullus and/or Poe CoH style. :-D
Maybe next week, if this thread is still alive. -
It's not that he's saying it that surprises me... it's his choice of forum to say it in.

Welcome to the game/server.
Champion is the best MMO server that I've ever been on. Period.
The people are friendly, there's a tightknit community, and events are being run all the time.
If you ever need help, look up anyone from this forum, or ask anyone in BMT, and they'll probably help you, or direct you to someone who can.
That said, learn the social code of BMT, it's a bit... non-intuitive... at times. It took me a while to stop putting my foot in my mouth only to be taken aside by Cobalt... but, I got better... mostly.
Give love, and you'll get it back.
Welcome to the family.

If you run either of these at a time that I"m available, i'd love both badges.
Slight problem: I need the Kahn on a blaster too. :-/ -
Yeah, tell me about it, that Mary girl, she just keeps shooting things till they're dead. What a crazy bi... wait a minute.

Team "Slacker doesn't like me because I'm not invis enough for him" finished in 1:30:27.
-
BAB, that's the badge I missed redside. I knew I missed one.
*curses*
Had fun either way, red and blue. -
Wow, that was awesome.
Thanks for making that, made my morning. -
*Punches Slacker for making me feel sad for him*
-
But I just got back?
I'll miss you. :-( -
I'll keep it short,
Horus and RAF: Thanks... you really helped me feel at home, and helped me feel like I had some friends I could hang out with after a bad day.
Rave: Thanks for all of the talking and the helping me find things to do when I didn't want to run another 'speed'-anything.
Shay: Thanks for being totally awesome and fun! I want to run more with you!!! (and I still need to read that paper ;-P)
Cobalt: *Hugs* Thanks for all the work you put into BMT and for helping it to stay productive and on topic and clean and safe and useful. Also thanks for taking me aside and telling me how to conduct myself within BMT instead of just kicking me after my first few foolish posts.
Horus and Shay: Thanks for mentioning me. Made me feel special and included. I really didn't expect to see my name on any of those lists.
*Whomever it was who gave me 10 mil. inf so that I could post my first big money item*: Thanks. That kind of generosity has always made me love Champion. It's why I still call it home every time I come back to this game. It's why I made the 4 people I got to start playing over my vacation go to champion instead of any other server.
