Best use of terrify is to let some other mug..erm player take the aggro 1st, either that or a handy dandy shivan. I've experimented with a mass hypno/terrify combo to try and nullify the aggro you get for the few seconds before terrify kicks in. Not sure how useful it is as I tend to play by the seat of my pants. I still have mass hypno at lvl 43, its a good lifesaver although its getting used a little less now I have things like mass confuse. Levitate is worth picking up to keep bosses off you while you stack holds, although you can always get the same result with mesmerize anyway. (I prefer levitate seeing as most teams tend to pile on the boss and wake him up).
Nemesis resist a lot of control powers, and carnies are frustrating when you play mind/psi. No fitness is certainly possible as long as your careful with DP. If you get careless with it (nothing is in range or using it before its needed) you might be panting for breath later. Not sure what your idea is with flight, is this just to get kb protection from hover?
edit: Not sure about total domination. I keep it around as a back up hold to quickly hold bosses and melee players in pvp. The area part is more of a bonus for me. -

Prolly give it a try on test when it becomes available. Speaking of which, I still have a copy on test with water spout & bile spray if people are desperate to have a look at them. -

My dark/fire brute is currently Level 24 and I'm still loving it! With the recent changes, and I already had Healing Flames 3 slotted with reduced recharge, I rarely have to pop a green or a blue (courtesy of aforementioned end recovery powers).
I deleted my stone/stone brute as I found it very boring - I only got to level 18 with him.

I had a feeling it would be a good set of powers once fury gets pumping. -
Bile spray isnt too bad and the animation prolly looks better from any angle but the one you see it from. Its good for me as its another non-psi attack to help against psi resistant groups. I expect it would be good if you bunch the mobs up and use cones and AoE's (a popular plant/fire strategy). Its worth trying the powers on test, I had my heart set on water spout until I tryed both powers.

no 2nd team this week as I cant get on (pc is dead as pointed out in another thread). Doesnt stop anyone else who wants to team doing it though.

I dont know what its like at higher levels but I'm enjoying mine, certainly gives me a few "oh no!" moments though. I expect wormhole should help a lot, and aid self, which you will be able to use safely during dimensional shift. -

If your forced into a defending strategy surely it makes more sense to defend the area with all the drones and machine guns/10 million long bow. Seems more clever than making a break for the rings anyway.

Thinking twice about kamikazeing a 15 man gank squad pushed right up against your base isnt "chicken". Recently though I just leave the zone, I can do without "come out your base noob, we pwn joo". If the zone goes empty you can blame the base campers. -

I was thinking of doing the same thing on my ice dom. I wasnt aware it messed with hold supression though. -
In the westin phipps mission where you need to kill hugo how many holds can I expect to have to stack before they take effect. I dont see any triangles but this guy has stupidly high mezz protection. Even with domination going it was about 3 or 4 holds to keep him down for a while. He also doesnt seem to respond to sleep.

If it is you need to read it again as there was a surprisingly simple solution to a dominator playing problem you mention on another thread. I wouldnt put too much faith in a pvp dom until the late 30's btw, the extra slots really help a lot. I would also start again with other sets, /en is a bit of a bugger for doms who want to pvp in sirens. I have one festering away on defiant but if i was to respec him I'd go for something like this:
Archetype: Dominator
Primary Powers - Ranged : Mind Control
Secondary Powers - Support : Energy Assault

If you want to use this in SC it might be worth getting accrobatics in there before lvl 30. Levitate is also with grabbing to bounce players around during supression, its also unaffected be CM which is something to think about.

I use psi dart to build domination fast, as it charges quick and has a low animation time. Anytime I try a new dom I look for an equivalent power with those same properties. -

Surely that would affect villains as well, making it just as hard to take the temp powers back. I always start the hotspots off by pulling the oppresive longbow pigs into the couragous ranks of waiting Arachnos anyway. -

Assault powers generate more domination points than control powers when they hit players. I use both ways of playing. If something can be easily controlled I will mezz it so it doesnt kill me (eg blasters, some controlers) and build domination off players that take a long time to hold (eg scrappers, tanks).
