If the broadcast from them was THAT bad then you should have petitioned it. Seeing as we're only hearing one side here I cant help wondering about your own conduct during this, a lot of people who arent pvp'ing tend to go off on one and bring a whole world of hurt on themselves. Its worth remembering that some people dont like non-pvp things in the zones, in which case using the "I'm not here to PVP" line wont really help you out there. People WILL gank you out the zone because "you shouldnt be here then", and it doesnt make them self indulgant idiots either. Far more self indulgant to think you can deprive people of using the zone for its primary function. As long as people know you arent serious, a line like "ZOMG!!! Joo killed meh while i was eating a hotdog! NOOB!!" will serve you better.

There tends to be more chance of people "respecting" things like duels and fight clubs on defiant, as well as far more heroes, which makes playing a villain squishy more difficult. That was a while ago though, things may have changed. I've taken to removing broadcast so I cant hear people gloating or whatever, and to remove the temptation from myself.

its funny u should mention respect i was i RV the last day lookin for pvp and saw a vill and hero fighting so of coarse i did what i always do in sirens i jumped right in with a volley of attacks only to later find out they were dueling, total mistake sorry man

The low level made it more of a fun atmosphere rather than a "must win at at all costs" one. And my trapper wasnt totally gimped like I thought he might.

I may be a few minutes late if i get roped into going to the supermarket, but I'l certainly be there about 7.15 - 7.30.
Maybe if this is fun we can do it again a week later but at lvl 10, then again at lvl 15....

I wonder if benumb would lower mez protection enough for the mez powers in the primary to affect a scrapper.

I was going to level a new corruptor to 5 last night but I had such a bad headache I had to abandon that idea.

Echo, what's the highest level toon you will allow to enter and exemp down? My lowest level character is a lvl 6 TA defender and I would like to avoid having to use him if I can.

I'l be using mine in tonights lowbie pvp bash :O) I dont expect to win as there are other sets around which get the some powers earlier. I'l certainly be taking the mez powers in sonic, from traps I plan to take everything if I can, except triage beacon. Travel powers will prolly be dictated by how I decide to play this in pvp.

I'm playing a gimpoid toon for it. I did look for something that could win and all the tankmagey builds made go "pfft! screw it".

Does anyone know how long the debuffs last and if they stack from the same attacks.

Not strictly true; Clarity from the Corruptor Sonic Secondary gives +perception. But your chances of getting it as a random buff in a pvp zone is slim to none.

imo theres a big change on the way. Not in the way of zone changes, just more people getting interested in pvp in RV and willing to splat people despite protests. As for farmers, SC was chock full of them last night till the villains got organised, brought in a few more people, and crushed them like insects. Was a good night, although one or two people did get annoyed.

In general it's all down to what you are used to. I know people who level stalkers fast but cant level a dom for toffee, yet I level dom's quicker than any other AT's.
