I think it depends which dominator sets are used and how the dominator wants to play. Its perfectly possible to lock down a whole spawn using a dominator. I dont think using placate is instant death to the dominator.

I have it on my traps corruptor but find it often has to be used preemptively to get the best out of it. Every single stalker I play has fly and TP, I just cant play a stalker any other way :P

Either one looks good. Doms look like they were designed to complement stalkers anyway. Seeds will help with aggro, and holds will increase the stalkers crits. The MM can tank a bit and has some great debuffs, although you might want to pick up the medicine pool to heal your pets. I think its really down to which one you would prefer to play though.

In other news, my other trapper got booted out his SG for being afk for a few weeks (oh wow, fancy that). So if someone can invite me to the all traps SG :O)

I havent counted how long it lasts, but I seem to remember the poison trap making lots of bosses vomit. Its a bit like fear where they get a chance every now and then to move again. I dont know if aim boosts trip mine damage, I wouldnt expect it to.

Different from anything else I've played. It help a lot to know the maps and be on the lookout for great hidey holes. I guess there are 3 ways to play:

1. TP'ing players.
2. Pulling players into a prepared spot.
3. opportunist use of traps.

If you're TP'ing players it might be worth standing on something to keep them off you, like those ventilation pipes on the roofs. I find a scrapper will normally get at least one hit before poison trap takes effect. If I'm high up then I can at least use webnades to keep them off me. Getting a team to cooperate with can be a real headache since most other AT's and sets are much more mobile. This makes MM's your friends, and if they have traps too, they are your BEST FRIENDS! :O)

Fix that part and the rest of the problem should fall into place
Try to make an ice/cold corruptor or dominator friend who likes to pvp, /traps may be useful as well, especially if he only has superjump.

Heard that theory before as well.
If you like 4ft toons hows this for a story. My hero SG only takes 4ft toons and had a shivan trip to bloody bay with a team of about 5. As soon as I get off the helicopter I see a sneaky stalker hiding near the base. So I webnade and caltrop him and then my 4ft friends jump in. He looses then says "lol" in broadcast. I didnt think it was funny until I thought how odd it must look from his perspective seeing a load of 4ft oddballs leap off the helicopter and rush straight after him :O)

Everyone knows PPP's are pants. I wont be holding my breath waiting for any change though. And dom snipes, I would trade mine in for a half decent shield or a self heal.

Good to see the team picking up with some new peeps :O)
Hope some of you manage to make it back next week when I will be at the proper lvl for this.
