and it's posted start time and we have 7 people...
-
I had added the item to may cart directly from the store front page.
When I do it now, my cart shows the item at the expected 0 points. -
Is there some sort of delay after the Freebie goes up before the market realizes it is free?
I added this week's freebie to my cart and it's showing up as 80pts and not free. -
The time has come for the WORLD TO BURN!
Or just Hami. Probably just Hami.
Mmmmmmm, burnt Hami.
It's been awhile since we've had regular midnight Hamidon raids on Justice, and Justice For All* thinks it's time to fix that!
*(The three moderators I chatted with briefly actually agreed to let me do this! Even after the chilli not-really-burritos incident!)
Starting June 8th JFA will be hosting Friday night Hamidon raids at Midnight eastern time.
All players level 45+ are welcome to join, assuming you're willing to at least pretend to look like you're helping. If you leech we'll probably make fun of you while you ignore us or something.
A quick overview of the Justice raid tactic is traditionally provided by the raid leader right before we start, and new raiders (that can follow simple instructions) are always welcome.
Space in the zone is limited; plan to arrive early if possible to make sure you get a seat.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something.... -
I am trying to update my Broadsword/Shield scrapper to take advantage of the attuned set, and to get a little more out of her in general.
I thought this would also be a good opportunity to ask for a review of my build before I go ahead and respec. Hopefully someone can point at something I could do more efficiently.
I am not looking to completely redesign this character, unless someone sees something I really screwed up.
I know most people seem to dislike Focused Accuracy, but to-hit debuffs really really annoy me, and I'd prefer to carry blues in case I need it than yellows.
Thank you.

So far, really disappointed with the event.
Like the Rikti invasions, when I try to target an enemy near my character I get an enemy that is still spawning and can't attack. On a melee character I am spending more time trying to get a valid target than attacking.
With the Rikti and Zombie invasions I can usually count on seeing a decent crowd on Talos or Peregrine Island during my normal play hours on Justice. Tonight and last night there were no more than two other people during the invasions in those zones.
I did manage to get on a few decent sized teams on Wednesday that certainly had the damage and debuffs to take out any of the normal zone GMs or event GMs, but we never saw Nemesis.
Yes, I know, "kill things fast and stick together," but we were. I'm saying maybe the spawn rate needs to be tweeked a little so it's no so feast or famine with the high end spawns in invasions in general. -
From just the official announcement I had no idea this was an actual event until tonight.
I had assumed it was a teaser for the next issue or something. -
Is that why I keep seeing larger enemies getting stuck rag-dolled into the ground whenever I use Disembowel or Soaring Dragon lately?
-
I've been saying that we need to be able to pick up Baby New Year like a football and run with him for years!
As for issues related to stealth; I have noticed that if you have a +stealth IO in a travel power that was active when you first entered the mission map it will occasionally not deactivate when you deactivate the toggle after entering the mission.
I think the stealth bonus forgets what it's parent power was when you zoned, and assumes it is supposed to stay active for 120 seconds, as if it's parent was not a toggle.
Obviously this is only an issue for hostages if you encounter one near the start of the map. -
Seems like we've been getting a lot of downer hero arcs lately.

Okay, apparently this is "working as intended"
What I'm seeing here:
When you log into a server when you are not a VIP it will automatically lock every character on that server. If you do not log onto a server it will not check your status, and you characters will not be locked.
When you become a VIP and log back onto the server you are locked out of it will grant you enough unlock tokens to cover all your characters on that server and you need to manually unlock everything.
It's fairly confusing, not very intuitive, and fairly tedious to unlock everything yourself. I don't understand why it doesn't just unlock everything. -
I'm fighting with a similar problem right now.
My auto-billing seems to have been disabled without any kind of email notification, and I found myself staring at the free to play character unlock window when trying to switch characters.
I am now paid up, and the server I had attempted to log onto during the 45 second window that I was Free to Play insists I must unlock characters, all other servers are perfectly happy to recognize VIP status. -
I have been having a problem with the same symptoms with my Geforce 9600GT.
-Screen goes black, sound continues normally for a few seconds followed by sound looping and hard lockup.
It looks like I've gone through most of the same trouble shooting steps as you have as well.
Stable temperatures, other games run fine, all hardware checks out, reinstalled Windows and CoH.
If I switch to the cheap Geforce 7025 built into the motherboard the crash stops.
Do you seem to crash more often in certain zones and rooms than others?
-I have noticed that I will very frequently crash in the Pocket D Tiki room and dance floor area, but not crash at all if I stay in the entrance halls.
-The first room of the 5th Column base in the first mission of the Dr Kahn TF will trigger the crash if I'm not looking directly at the floor.
-Prior to Issue 21, the burning Arachnos mission map in Field Agent Keith Nance's arc would trigger the crash.
-Prior to Issue 20 the crash would frequently occur in the Rikti War Zone. -
I have also encountered this issue on two characters.
The first had been a Widow that I had switched to a Hero, and I had assumed that I must have already unlocked that slot red side.
The second character was a Hero that has never side switched.
Both characters had previously turned in Halloween costume salvage. -
They are applying a hot fix today for unspecified "instability issues."
I'm just putting the idea out that it is possible (but unlikely) that this might fix your problem. I'm assuming that if they are taking down the servers over the weekend that the unspecified "instability issues" are fairly severe and wide spread. -
I'm just curious, why move alts specifically to the new server if you're just trying to make room on Justice? Wouldn't any server do?
-
I'll make a few characters on the new server, but I do not see myself playing seriously there.
I think I will pop over for events, but I really see no reason to spend a lot of time away from Justice. -
Paragon Wiki has a good amount of information on SG bases.
Here is a link if you feel like reading up -
You can purchase storage units for your base.
- Inspiration storage units cost 75,000 prestige each, and each can hold up to 100 inspirations of any size.
- Salvage Storage units cost 15,000 Prestige each, and can hold up to 30 pieces of salvage
- Enhancement Storage costs 95,000 prestige each, and can hold up to 100 enhancements of any type.
Your SG leader can set SG rank permissions for each individual storage unit, but can not set individual permissions. If he/she sets a bin to allow anyone to take or store items then anyone in the group can access anything in that unit, or a unit could be set to only allow officers access.
Personal Storage Vaults can be purchased for 100,000 prestige, and allow you to access your personal salvage storage from inside your base. This is the same storage you can find free access to in most city zones, and it might not be worth the cost for a starting SG.
Your base can hold up to 16 storage units.
Some types of rooms can not have any in them, some rooms hold more than others.
Medical, Control, and Energy rooms can each hold 1 bin.
Workshop rooms hold up to 9 each.
Adding storage units to your base will increase your monthly base upkeep cost by 100 prestige each. This isn't a lot, but it is worth mentioning because it can be annoying if you forget/don't know to pay upkeep.
That's the basics of that. Feel free to ask questions on the boards, or in one of the global chat channels people have mentioned.
There are people that take a lot of pride in their SG bases, and if asked they might be wiling to give you a tour. -
