That looks absolutely fantastic! You can see me dancing with Miss Kitty... and Mantid...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, Tobay was cool enough to dance with the runner-ups for cutest couple.

All joking aside- humble suggestion for those who want to contribute to the City Scoop, a guide would be helpful (not that you guys don't do enough- HAH- just DO MORE!!) and also word count and colum length requirements would be helpful too.

Unless I missed something (this doesn't exist)- I have an idea for an on/off colum but I am wary of how much space there would be vs. time requirements and stuff....

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well you may notice that the bottoms do get a little jagged. Its mainly because we haven't had any word count or length requirement thus far. Its been up to me to space it all out and try to make it look nice, sliding in pictures and such to help fill in the dead space.
  3. Hmmm... techical and performance hints wouldn't be bad...

well im really happy it was you and not someone that never even visits our section of the forums

*sniffle* I'm not that much of a stranger here, am I? I mean, I do post here once every few months...
  5. Ah yes. "Wait" was brought up on the Test Server forum, but I guess that hasn't been addressed in this thread.

For size purposes, I usually take the shortest(ish) loopable part of a looping animation. Another example of this is "eat" (which actually I looped poorly >.&lt, which has additional animation to it that isn't shown in the guide.
  6. Ooooh... I'm going to make Colossi and pink and pretty!

    (Yes, I'm just kidding. )

The Justified text makes it much nicer on the eyes (and makes it look like a News column ).

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah it does. And of course the easy was didn't work (putting it in the CSS), so had to add the justified tag to each <p> individually.

Kinda messed thing up a little on the side articles...
  8. Yeah... next time I think the Crossword and whatever other puzzles may pop up should get get their own thread.

This will help raise awareness about how great the artists are here! I mean, I was, like, totally blown away, man.

    Great work, Athy!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Err, nope. Mantid has the excellent html skills that put all that together. All I did was provide a few links.

Any 'kudos' and such should go to Mantid and the artists for their amazing work. Which, by the way, I'm still completely blown away with how well it turned out.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Blah! I just cropped them up and slid them into the layout. I'm not the one that scouted them out.
  15. Mantid

    Mario!

    Yes you are...

    I've seen odder Marios though!

For images: ensure that all of the images share a 'padding' value - the first image on page one does not have any padding, though the following images do. This ties in to proofreading (and typesetting) I guess.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Oops... missed that one

    [ QUOTE ]
Those graphical bullets in the right hand column on page 1 do not look right - if possible use different bullet images for inline HTML versus BBCode [I have no idea if this can be accomplished with this forum software].

    [/ QUOTE ]

They were suppose to be different bullets, actually, however the forum css overrode them. Its one of those things I just didn't take the time to correct.

    Ding movie?

O_o I never, ever noticed they were different. *facepalm*

    [/ QUOTE ]

Neither did I. *Joins in facepalm* ><

    [/ QUOTE ]

Most people don't notice (except for level 50), which is why I made the gif in the first place!
  18. The Ghost Widow model should have all the correct Sit emotes for the women. I'll double check that they didn't change any of them since they were added.

Yeah, as for hovering, that's good to know. Hadn't really tried all of them while hovering, although I was aware that Invent had a slightly different animation (wish more of them did!). I'd have to consider where to mention those, however.
  19. Mantid

    Ding movie?

    Its was a gif!

    Gesh... a movie.. really!
  20. floatbookslow?

There doesn't seem to be such an emote... unless its along the lines of dice7...

While there are a few vocal posters here who've made vocal statements to the contrary, from what I've seen, most players are unhappy with the current drop mechanism.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Odd, I've been reading the opposite. Most players are not unhappy with the current drop mechanism. There are a very vocal few, but that's about it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'd have to agree on this. Be careful when speaking for other people Moo. That said, give it time. They've already said that they're watching invented costume pieces to see where they'll go with it in the future.

    [/ QUOTE ]

How! Hey everyone, let's follow these three and all talk like we know what everyone else thinks!
  22. [ QUOTE ]
The new costume items are simply not available for use, as far as I'm concerned.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Yep!

Course with my luck, I will get the right wings, but I'll get them, oh, say on Guardian, but I want them on a character on Liberty... there's really no safe or cheap way to transfer the recipe across servers, as far as I know.
