Ignore it is the correct solution. I've just put everybody who broadcasts for a farm on ignore. Atlas is really quiet these days.

Arc Name: The devs must die!
Arc ID: 113956
Humor arc with most of the humor in the clues. -
Arc Name: The Devs must die!
Arc ID: 113956
Synopsis. Nemesis has been betrayed and his betrayers may turn out to be even more dangerous.
A comedy arc involving our own beloved Devs.... sort of. -
Arc 113956 The Devs must die!
Humor, custom group, elite boss at the end but can be soloed. -
I eliminated all enemy groups in one mission by placing the maximum number of destructible objects.

I didn't even see a complaint button but the form said. "This mission has been banned by a GM for being a farm" etc...
-
[ QUOTE ]
Well, there was a complaint on my arc that it said it was banned because Farming Missions give an artificial advantage.
Except "A Farming Tale" doesn't give any artificial advantage. The name was chosen to make fun of the panic about "I14 will be used for farming" during test, but it's just a silly arc that takes place on a farm. It even got hit with Dev Choice.
Well, it got blocked on Friday, I sent a petition asking for it to be looked at again and editing the description to make it clear it wasn't a farm mission. After maintenance I logged in, and it was gone.
Very annoying. Apparently the word "farm" was enough to get it killed.

This, a hundred times this. I think the GMs have gotten lazy and are just banning anything with farm in the description or title.
My mission pinball wizard said in the description that it wasn't a farm and that it generated absolutely zero experience or tickets. It got banned and the description of the banning said that it was for being a farm. I pulled it down and republished it and jut like GadgetDons mission it had been completely deleted.
I seriously believe that some of the GMs are just doing a search for the word farm and banning everything that comes up without bothering to look at it. -
I'm betting that although you have your graphics set to the dimensions of the monitor, you don't have your desktop set to that resolution.
First set your computer desktop to the screen resolution. Then in game change your resolution to match desktop and select apply. Then without closing the options window quit to desktop and restart the game. Your graphics should be fine at this point. -
If you already have a perfectly good description in place then whatever you do DON'T open your ID window. If you need to look at your bio then type "/info" when you don't actually have anything targeted. The moment you open your ID window your description will become a wall of text.
-
I would have given this a decent rating. It's not too inventive but it's as better than many of the canon stories. However making the asylum, with wandering mobs and invisible mobs a kill all is just plain mean. That all those screens and other objects means there are tons of places for a lone mob to hide. I swept through bottom to top twice then quit.

I know that hero and villain trade can not be done because of the possible exploits due to market price differences. So how about an option to use an inspiration on a target player? With option to decline of course.
It could be used like the temp "drop of" powers that can be purchased during the holiday events. Perhaps it could even be a multiple charge power which works exactly like the temps. This would give us the ability to give a wakie or blue or green or whatever to somebody from the opposite faction. This would be vital on cooperative taskforces when you are all heroes and 1 villain or vise versa. -
The reason I would like it for robotic masterminds is because with their minions it worked exactly like it works for Paladin. The robots would break their way free of a girder framework.
-
I want robotic masterminds to be able to use it on their pets again.

Plungers are too powerful. Plunger man easily defeated a villain that The Tick couldn't. And then he reattached The Tick and Arthur's arms.
-
It is pretty much spaghetti code and the devs have admitted that. None of the original development team is left and absolutely nobody left notes on the early game coding. Obviously some sections of code were made to be alterable in order to be able to more easily add costumes, powers, archetypes, etc... But some of the very foundation of the game engine is just a block of code with no reference notes.

Wow, you guys can really be a-holes sometimes. I put a lot of thought into that as you can clearly see above, and you don't even have the decency to share your thoughts on it. On the one hand, this game has some of the best community in-game. But on the forums, sheesh people. Even WoW's people are better than this, and that's saying something!
[/ QUOTE ]
Apparently you've never been to a WoW forum. If you had the response you would have gotten would be something like.
&$^ N00b. Taht is the stoopedest idea ever. Go back to playing neverquest or whatever stupid game you came from.
Total loser, get out of the forums, you suck.
Those guys above me said it all. You are the worst poster ever to post. I saw you in game too on your Necro and you were totally getting pwned by a couple of Paladins 10 levels below you so get lost looser.
The actual truth here is that while the idea might be somewhat neat it's not too practical and would likely involve enough extra coding that we wouldn't be able to see it for a couple years.
Plus there is the fact that if a person creates an archetype it is most likely because they want to play that archetype. If I take my Sonic/Energy blaster into the MA and decide to play the "Rescue Statesmans Underwear" mission then I don't want to see a message pop up that says "During this mission you won't be your current archetype. You will instead be a Martial arts scrapper."
Lastly, you seem to be a complete and utter dick. I have been reading your past posts just to see how much you have contributed. A lot of them seem to consist of calling people a-holes for disagreeing with something you like.
As for people not responding to your ideas. So What? Just because you wrote it down doesn't make it the most exciting, or the absolute worst idea ever. You are not the center of the forum universe. Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe the people reading it thought the idea was bland and unoriginal but not bad enough to rant about?
And as to the following phrase from your response I put a lot of thought into that as you can clearly see above, and you don't even have the decency to share your thoughts on it. I don't see a post from you in every single suggestion thread. So you might want to look at that guy in the mirror because he seems to be ranting at you. -
This game has never been about the greater the risk the greater the reward.
Witness 1 lieutenant being worth 5 minions.
Giant monsters providing less exp than most bosses.
Elite Bosses being worth less than standard bosses.
Risk vs reward is a myth. -
Ok, it took some searching and compilation but I believe I've got Power's vision statement.
I think we should get more Prestige per kill, or make everything cost less. If you are alone it takes fore ever to get a lot. It is hard to get poeple that want to join your SG and have them keep super group mode on.
Ok.... I know you know what I am going to say so I guess I'll just slip it out and wait....
I think you should marry a citizen, and have a baby... Then when it older it can fight with you.
You could do a new mission save your kid. Also you could buy and house.
I guess you well need a new zone for the houses, or make it like a base. We have so much money lets spend it!
I know this is more silly then some of my other ideas, but it would be cool.
I just thought of a good tiltle~
I know this is a crazy idea but it would be funny : P Make it so you go into Champoins Online universe and same with DC . I know they can't do this yet since those two aren't out yet. They could make it so you can go in, unless you haven't pay for that game.
And the other two univers can come to CoH.
Superman girefriend went in to and univers where she was dead, and we already have portals. I don't know how to spell her name.
I think it would be cool to have one of your own guys with you. They could cut the xp so it will be slow. It you would still need to find poeple for the TF/SFs. I don't seen how this could go wrong!! It is the best one I ever thought of!!
Sorry, that's as far as I was able to get before my brain started bleeding.
This did get me thinking though. I don't believe Power has actually come up with an idea for super vision. Maybe I should send him a pm and see what he comes up with. -

What if someone gets a mad on for a given player, and goes in and 1 or 2 stars all his arcs out of hand? If he doesn't do that for every arc he comes across, just the arcs that have a specific global name attached to them, how can an architect avoid having his stuff sabotaged out of the Hall of Fame?
[/ QUOTE ]
That same question was asked at PAX and the response was that if logs showed that a supergroup or coalition were to go through the mission list and 1 star all of a particular architects missions then that would be considered griefing and could result in action being taken against the griefers. Just one person low rating missions wouldn't do much harm but if a group were to do it then the sudden surge in low ratings would show up as a spike that could lead to investigation. -
Good question Tripp. I knew about the different objects that propel created. I knew about the different shrapnel caused by invention tables or turrets exploding. But the gate is the gate. I wonder if multiple people can see it or not.

Top secret info from I14
BRB has been included!!!
Well, I can dream can't I? -
That's exactly it. You are keeping Sally from being taken over by the Red Caps. Just hit her with brawl. There is no way brawl will actually hurt her.

Last night I had the first sync problem I've seen in about a year or so. It was a bizarre one though. I zoned into Steel and headed for WW. I didn't even notice till I got there that nobody including npcs were in the zone. Once I entered WW I saw it was empty and realized I was out of sync.
So I entered the /sync command expecting to find myself back in the tram. Instead I didn't move but suddenly could see everybody around me. So instead of it being like the server was telling my system where I really was it acted like my system telling the server where I really was. -
For a graphics card I would recommend one attached to a new computer.
