I really think you fail... Oh that is so cool. You fail You Fail!! QQ
ATTENTION, THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS BATTLESTAR GALACTICA SPOILERS

I personally thought the last episodes merged perfectly with the whole Lost mythology and tied it up exactly as it should be.

If you want to talk about a series finale that sucked so badly that it made black holes look amature then just look at Battlestar Galactica which went from being about war and peace with machinery and bio machinery to suddenly being about God directly interfering and sending angels to save people and deliver them to the promised land. A literal deus ex machina.

Actually malwarebytes is a very good detector and can often spot rootkits that other scanners can't. However it should be named to something else before running because due to it's efficiency it is specifically blocked by several malware programs.
  3. Delete the checksum file in your city of heroes directory and then try verifying files again.
  4. Looks like there isn't going to be a Lost movie at some point though. There aren't any missing years. There is nothing worth watching about the characters lives beforehand. And there certainly isn't room for a sequel unless they want to focus on the life/afterlife of Ben.

I guess they could do a series where the heaven bound losties find out that Richard was hauled off to hell so they decide to go after him to bring him back. Only in order to get to him they have to jump over a shark.
  5. Hellion Golf definitely.

Using Whirlwind. This is one power that is now completely useless (used to be very useful) but I still take it just to stand by trees/dumpsters/cash machines/mailboxes with it turned on.

There are several malware programs that will prevent you from running hijackthis in any manner. There is however a way around it.

Copy the hijackthis.exe file to your desktop and rename it to something else like pikachu.exe or something that in no way resembles an anti virus type name. Then try to run that file as admin.

Also when you run hijackthis it will give you the option of running it with or without a log. Choose yes to the log and it will automatically open a notepad file with the information there. That is what you cut and paste here.
  7. By chance were you spamming an emote at the time? Spamming emotes used to count as spamming so people who did the obnoxious slap/smack rapid fire emotes kept finding themselves silenced. That was a major bonus in my opinion but unfortunately the spam limitation on emotes was removed. A bug might have brought it back however so if you were chain emoting that could be it.
  8. Make sure you are putting in the birthday in the correct format. There should be an example. Also make sure you are entering the correct account name. For example my forum name here is Mandu but that isn't my account name. Thirdly make sure you are putting in the letters/numbers in the correct case. Sometimes capital letters have to be caps in order to be acceptable.
  9. Also, the citizen rubberbanding you see is not server lag but network lag. It's likely not related to the other problem since altering AO wouldn't change network properties. To see how good your network connection is in game type "/netgraph 1" to turn it off type "/netgraph 0". The netgraph will appear in the lower right corner of your screen. What you are looking for are short green spikes. Yellow spikes are heavy network traffic or high ping rate. Red spikes are dropped packets.

    Graphics Problem

I haven't seen images exactly like that before but number 2 looks like it's showing at least hints of infinite planes. From the fact that it happens after playing a while I would have to just about guarantee that it is heat related.

    Take the following steps.

1.) With the power off open up your computer and clean out any dust. Only use canned air or anything else that can direct a mild jet of air. When blowing the dust off of any fans make sure you hold the fan in place with the eraser end of a pencil or something similar. If the fan spins it can damage the board. A spinning electrical motor becomes a generator and can feed power to the wrong parts.

2.) Leaving the computer open power it up and visually inspect the fans to see if they are all spinning. The ones that matter the most are any fan on the video card itself, the fan on the processor, and the fan on the power supply. That's because these are the 3 parts which will start having degraded performance as they overheat. The case fans are important too because they expel the hot air from the case but they don't have nearly as much effect as the individual part fans. If any of the part fans is not spinning then do not use the computer again until you have replaced that fan. Most fans are incredibly easy to replace often only requiring removing a couple clips or screws.

    3) If the case is clean of dust and the fans are running fine then you need to run some kind of heat monitoring program as you play. You will probably have to play in windowed mode because even if the monitoring program is set to always on top, it might not show up or could cause intense flickering as the screen switches from the monitor to the game itself. You can easily google the safe running temperatures for your card and see if they are being exceeded. If they are then it's pretty much a guarantee that the card is going bad. Using speedfan (which can also monitor temperature) to increase the video card fan to 100% will give your card a longer life before complete failure but if it is overheating it really doesn't have much life left.

    I wish...

Try reducing shadows to stencil and lowering FSAA or turning it off completely.
  12. I'm also guessing SG mode since I've seen it about a bazillion times. And it really isn't at all intuitive if you spend all your time in that mode.

Doh, that's what I get for just paging down. I'm so used to either seeing the blob with the nucleus or seeing nothing that I guess my mind filled in the blanks.
  14. Well he seems to be visible in all your distance shots. If you aren't seeing him there then it's a problem with your video card or monitor.

Ad for closeup the game engine can only display so many effects and characters. When that many characters and pets using that many powers are all bunched together then not all of them can be rendered and Hamidon is often the first to go.

But seriously Leo. Can't you see him in the first, second, and fourth images?
  15. Loved the movie for the most part. Two parts that I didn't like though.

    SPOILERS OF COURSE

One: "This is a very dangerous battle I'm in so I think I'll just open up my helmet." On the part of all 3 armored types. I know you have to give the actors face time and at least Iron man and War Machine popped theirs closed But Whiplash just left his open while being attacked.

Two: The stupid stupid stupid phenomenally stupid and also stupid cliche of the villain who when defeated sets off a self destruct device... that takes over a minute to go off. For me it doesn't provide any tension. It didn't in the Predator series, it doesn't in this movie. It just makes me think about how dense the villain must be to think that they are going to "get" the hero with their diabolical explosion.
  16. Ok ok Jack I see your point. You are just a tad short for a "Legendary" GM with two separate spawning locations. I'll see if I can't talk somebody into giving you platform shoes or something.

If I am a winner, I permit NC Interactive, Inc. and NCsoft Europe Limited to use my name, likeness, photograph, hometown, and any comments that I may make about myself or this contest that I provide for advertising and promotional activities. I also certify that I am at least 13 years of age and am eligible to participate in this contest.
  17. It's also possible that it's your computer clock. If your computer clock is not set correctly then it can screw up some coh calculations. I don't remember if it's when it is set to a day in the future or a day in the past but that's what can sometimes cause results like a character having been offline for 30,000 days.
  18. This definitely sucks but now you know why you keep the following. Serial codes, the number of the original credit card you subscribed with even if you don't use it any more, The original email address even if you think that yahoo (or whatever) is stupid and you only use gmail now.

NCsoft does seem to make the whole verification process much harder than other game companies though. And truthfully I personally am glad it does. I like the option of being able to present overwhelming evidence that the account belongs to me which the thief couldn't.

All I can suggest is digging through old notes and email. Also if he kept the Pocket D VIP card or any costume cards applied to his account as souvenirs then those would be some verifying codes that might possibly help.

Also if he kept the original email from setting up his account he should have his unique user id number which will likely help tremendously.
  19. The patrolling Longbow on the other hand will step around you.
  20. Sayaki. It looks like this is another problem caused by low resolution vs high resolution. All the testing is most likely done on high resolution settings so the devs can overlook problems with low resolution settings.

On my system which runs in 1680 x 1050 for instance the claim button is at least a full inch away from the spam button. On yours it looks like it's actually overlapping. I would suggest pming a dev and attaching the screenshot. That seems to be a fairly serious issue. Not game breaking by any means but a major pain.
  21. What is the brand and model of the laptop?

I ask because if it's a dell then it's possible that the drive has been formatted in a non standard manner and won't be readable by non dell computers. I found this out when a dell of mine failed and I went to put the drive in a different system. It worked fine in an older dell but my new system couldn't read it till I reformatted it.

Well, every time I see one of the special editions at Big Lots I buy it and you will usually see a message from me posted somewhere around here offering up the code to somebody who wants it if they can trade a costume code I need. Or just plain offering it for free sometimes.
  23. Only one problem with a War Witch Task Force.

It will inevitably be abbreviated WTF.

    oh yes i did :p

I got both collectors editions at Big Lots for less than $10 ea.

And I don't want to even think about what I've spent on this game. Subscribed constantly from day one plus purchased all the expansions.

    But it was worth it.
  25. No the OP is right. Just log into Freedom and broadcast "LFAE Meow that can get me to level 50 in two hours". All you will get is mockery. It is a sad sad day.

This game used to remind me of the fun family games I played when growing up. Monopoly where my parents would give me all the properties and then roll the dice until they were out of money. I WIN!

Trivial Pursuit. Now this one my parents put actual thought into. They bought 500 copies of the game and made all the question cards the same. I got the answer right 90 percent of the time. I WIN!

The world needs more games like these. Games where I have to put out no thought or effort. A world made of I WIN!

To those who are humor deprived the preceding was sarcasm.

My parents really only bought 200 copies of the game.
