    I just want to point something out here. I know what I said is offensive. I'm not complaining that someone was offended and took action. I'm complaining about what that action was. I broke a rule...a rule posted in a rulebook that I have no way of accessing. And the punishment for a first offense was a boot.

    As far as I know, saying ERPvP is not the same as sexual assault. He just took the match, lit it, and watched the fire spread. Sure, when you get down to it, there's no law in VU that says you can't spread a fire. There is a rule, however, that says you shouldn't have the match in the first place.

    And if my comments were too "dense" to understand, I'm referring to the rules and the constant remindings of the rules over the past few weeks about the same exact subject. People have been warned, over and over, that the topic is not one for VU. Then people have to test the MODs by trying to slip a comment in here and there, just so they can be seen as a martyr when the punishment is handed out.

    He's calling you dense because you're comparing trees, which have no free will, to people, which do. A burning tree has no choice in whether or not it passes on fire. A person has a choice as to whether or not they join into a stupid activity.

    So seeing as I have no access to this rulebook, how am I supposed to know what is and isn't allowed? I guess a mod could tell me when I break a rule, but they didn't, they just kicked me for a first offense.

    I have never been warned or silenced in VU2010 for anything. If I had been told to cut it out, or even silenced, this post wouldn't have happened. First offense: boot.

    No, I'm not asking if the devs have said anything about it, because chances are, they haven't. I'm asking all of you, the experienced and knowledgeable playerbase of my beloved Virtue, how likely you think it is that Brutes will ever get Regeneration as a secondary set.

    I tried Khelds back in issue 8 or so and was very unimpressed. Now I'm back in CoH and hearing how they've rebalanced the AT. Tell me what they've changed. I want to have a good reason to give this awesome looking AT another shot.

    I've been gone for a while and I keep hearing that they upped the speed on Hover. I didn't seem to go much faster Hovering than my level 9 friend who had it unenhanced. What's the deal here?

    Let's see, serious RP.

    There was one where my SG leader was framed for a murder. The murder of a literal witch who had tried to kill him several times, so it's not like he didn't have motive.

    I once created a character just for an RP where one of my friends unearthed a Sky Raider ship and decided to use it to start a merc group. I wanted a MA/Regen, the ship needed a mechanic, so I made a tomboy who was good with a wrench .

    My all time favorite has got to be a long storyline I set out. My main character, Jet Falcon, upon finding out a secret from his past, lets his inner rage take over to the point where it became a separate personality, named Damien Jager. Damien wreaked havoc across Paragon and the SG until he tried going back in time to the year 1900 and nuking Paragon City in the past. But my SGmates knew he was going to do this, and had exactly the right tools to stop him. Why? Because Jet doesn't age, and after being trapped in the past, he merely waited 100-something years and starting manipulating everyone from the shadows, making sure it would go the same way he remembered it going. That's right, Jet Falcon pulled a Xanatos Gambit on himself.

    Just for the record, I'm not really looking for it to feel like a blaster. If I want that, I have the blaster :P. I guess maybe I should try playing a Defender then.

    So I have a concept in mind as an alternate version of my DP/Devices Blaster, but as someone inexperienced with support Archetypes, I have a question about Traps. It's very offense oriented, compared to things like Empathy and Force Field, and has much fewer buffs and mezzes than most support sets. I know that this was because it was designed for Corrupters, which are not a full on support AT, but a hybrid.

    With this in mind, is there any reason to make a Traps/DP Defender when I will soon have the ability to make a DP/Traps Corrupter and bring it Blueside? I figure that what little Traps and Leadership (which I'm probably going to take) get boosted from having a Defender will more than be offset by lesser damage from bombs and seeker drones, not to mention the guns themselves. Am I correct in this assumption?
