My main Blaster and namesake: Major Tom. I'm interested to see more of your style of artwork. Very slick! =)

<ul type="square"> [*] Group Name: League of Extraordinary Superheroes[*] Server: Champion[*] Side: Blue![*] Approximate Size/Cost: 16x20/approx 50 mil pre-i13 (subject to change once post-)[*] Anything else peritnent: LES is a fairly large hero group with a strong core playerbase and an awesome Base to go with it! We have teleporters to all zones, Fusion Gen, AES, completely automated med-bay, copious amounts of storage, and a full bar.
We've recently added a bumpin' nightclub, a small study, as well as a small living quarters for on-site base engineers and maintenance crew.
We are fully base-raid ready and well fortified. We are actively looking for raiding matches, though it has died down quite a bit with the impending DOOM! of i13. =/ and it looks like we'll be quite inactive for the time being, but we'll be back rough and ready once they're back! I look forward to your work in the bases area and eagerly anticipate the changes to CoP and raiding that are (hopefully!) coming down the pipeline.[/list]
For the tour, please contact myself @Major Tom, or @CriticalKat.
Cheers, and welcome aboard, Sunstorm! -

Only problem is, and I'll say it again; there's only one icon for both VEATs on RedTomax's site. Otherwise I'd have used 'em.

Only nitpick I'd have is to have the two unique icons for Arachnos Soldiers and Widows. But Red Tomax just has the standard Arachnos symbol for both.

I ran into the same problem when I was gathering the icons, and having two of the same one would have been a bit redundant, but unfortunately that's all he has to offer. =/
The original design was based off of the Betsy Ross 13-star circle where the stars were just replaced by the AT icons. It worked out well that there were only 13 unique icons, but unfortunately there are 14 unique ATs. Let's just call it 'one faction' of Arachnos for now.
I like the idea of the starburst pattern. I'll look into it. -
But! I felt it was more appropriate to post it here than anywhere else.
Here's a little something I whipped up quick in photoshop yesterday and now serves as my laptop's background. Thought I might share it with y'all. -
Tom turned out awesome! The energy effects from the suit are jaw-droppingly fantastic. Excellent work as always.

A happy 98th birthday to your grandpa! Just two more years to triple digits!!
For the sketch, my main Blaster and namesake: Major Tom.
Short backstory:
During a routine spcae walk on the International Space Station, Major Thomas Bowie was caught in the middle of a deep space meteor strike. One of the meteors severed his line holding him to the station. As a second meteor stuck his suit and sent him hurdling towards Earth, the cosmic forces stored within the meteor transferred to his entire body, replacing it with pure energy. Fortunately for him, Tom was field testing a prototype suit fabricated from an Impervium alloy and it was able to withstand the intense heat of reentry, and took the brunt force of the impact.
After recovering, he had discovered that he had landed in Paragon City, Rhode Island upon seeing its massive War Walls. Now with his newfound power Major Tom works under government comission for the USAF as their latest weapons project. Within his suit he is able to focus this incredible energy into destructive short ranged blasts and devastating melee attacks. -
Perhaps post an example of your current costume so we have something to work with?

Wouldn't be much of a burnt matchstick now would he?
On that note, for a change of pace, perhaps white instead of black, and a traditional red match tip? I do like the flaming head idea. -

Knowing Kat, I'm pretty sure by "Polarized" she meant an Ascended Quantum PPD Kheldian Peacebringer Cop dude in Light Form. (The blue-ish white puff ball. You'll know it when you see it.) Also, I'm going to put my money on a GM as Giant Monster, even though you can just go out to PI and find an entire island full of 'em. Not really that difficult to scavenge.
On topic, this looks insanely fun! Our SG had a scavenger hunt a couple months back, sometime in the winter and was loads of fun! I'd definitely be willing to take a stab at this. -
Upon first seeing it, I recognized it right away. Someone tell me the guy in the mid-left doesn't look like Bruce Campbell.
-
And it took my right to the search page. Got the info I need and restored my background until I decide on what I want it to be.
Thanks, though. -
Is there any way to restore the original images to the background?
If so, how? -
Great job, Mira! When I came and saw it yesterday it was still only one room, the oversight center. The rest of the base looks great!
-
Yeah, they work pretty well, but every so often The Ball manages to squeeze his way through the glass, but other than that they do good job keeping him in. Plus they look cool
