I've had problems since the patch. Seems a bit strange but I've only noticed it while fighting enemies. Moving around in the city or inside missions never "rubberbands". But as I enter a fight powers seems to take up a second to activate and the same goes for some effects like knockback etc.

I've closed down HeroStats - no difference.

Ran the game in safe mode - no difference.

Been running netstat for a while now and the Ping constantly moves from around 140 up to allmost 400. And what I mean is that it really goes up and down, starting at 140 then quickly runs up to 300 - 400, stops there for a short while then quickly drops to 140:ish again, like a pendelum kinda.

No other changes made - only the patch. I've had this computer for three years now (old - yes!) so it's the same old. Game is still playable but this is very annoying.

I'd say that is exactly what any given company wants no matter what they about life styles, comfort or quality. Yo money. That's it and they're willing to do allmost anything to get it. Don't fool yourself thinking anything but that. And with that said... go for it. I don't mind this kind of options at all. It would have been much worse if you could could buy extra powers or similar stuff that made a difference ingame.

I guess you mean that I, as a player, really should be doing the transportation myself and not get this really useful reward that takes a very dull moment away from the game... evil grin. Well, without sarcasmy; I don't mean you should never travel at all. But at times, like in the description I made in the OP, it's just a visit from Mr Boring Mad, you go from one zone end to another to get a mish, that in turn is located where you just came from.

Enough blah from me. Will probably never make it into the game anyways...

So, there I was jumping around Brickstown whan I saw the train coming along. I thought - how silly it would look if you could the little super heroes peering out from the windows. At that moment I just knew I had to do this picture, no matter how cheesy or silly it would be. I had to. Quickly poisioned my toon and took a pic as the train whizzed (well...) by... and whaddaya know? There they were! All of my level 50 toons going somewhere without me!

I'd go for the SG Base solution IF they put outside the base, so that you don't have to load every freakin time you want to use the base as transporter...

Just struck after seeing a contact in Indy and getting a mission that is located at the far other end of Indy... that a nice vet award would be a "Portable Mission Teleporter". Not that I think we'd get one but I would like it. Very much. After, say, 5 years of jumping, speeding, flying or TP:ing around PC you get a bit tired of the city view... so to speak.

I had that a lot some time back and yes, back to login screen works.

Just a small thing that in my humble opinion would make the ingame life just a little bit more easy:

In the inventory list for your inventions salvage; make the salvage that you could use for recipes currently owned by you, bold or something like that.

I just find it a bit annoying to have to check the recipes as I am going through my salvage, judging what I should sell or even rather; what of it I should keep. Would be simple enhancement of the game that would be quite nice. In my world anyways...

However nice the "free issues" are... they are not really qualified as "stuff". You don't get a free issue in the mail, in a package that you can tear open and let out a triuphanf howl when you... ooops. I'll stop there but I want free stuff too, all of it actually.

I started doing a CoH-related song many months ago then it just went to the shelf of things-to-be-done. Picked it up again a month ago but as I progressed on the tune I got some other people interested in the project and that is why this is the final version of the CoH-tribute-song but the song will evolve in another direction after this. It's a stompy thing with dance/metal/techno influences. The song is not finished but it'll have to do for this version, not that it is much singing though. The very basic lyrics goes:

Freakshow! Nemesis! Clockworks! Carnies! Praetorians! Malta! Skullz! The Warriors! Heroes unite... heroes unite...

That is very much it. Well, have a listen and feel free to comment. Even if you don't like it, I don't expect everyone to enjoy it. Dance to the music!

Well to be on topic, quite nice avatar but not that special. Not meaning to be rude but ... well, I have no clue where it comes from and thus have no form of connection to it.
