Could be one of a couple of things. Make sure you arent at the exit doors - daft as it sounds i have done it many times! Otherwise wait for the doors to shut then click on then

yea it stopped working again 
could u help me with this please ?..i stopped playing until tomorrow so i could cool down i got fairly frustrted that i couldnt go anywhere or see my contacts..
i used to play defiant but now im on union because its more populated lol..
Come onto Defiant and I'll show you how the trains work - you can then go back to Union with this precious knowledge that only the Defiant players possess

i know how but it just strted like an hour ago that i cant see contacts and i cant use base portals trains and just walking to skyway or steel.... any idea whats wrong ?
Are there any other NPCs around? Or does the zone look totally deserted?

Edit: but when i click on a contact on a map it shows where he /she is and its distance but doesntshow the contact
That sounds like the "ghost town" bug - I think you need to restart the game to get rid of it.

Pretty much, yes.
The "Ghost Town", "Twilight" or "Map Desync" bug (which is the official name) is something of a problem right now, though there is a 'fix' being tested right now that has a /sync command which (when it goes live) will allow you to force a synchronisation to the server. For the moment, though, your only options are to either teleport (whether yourself, or getting someone to TP you, which forces a resync with the server) or log out to desktop and log back in.
Be warned that the bug itself seems to be particularly virulent right now and logging out does NOT guarantee that you will be okay when you log back in.
Please, don't let this put you off the game - it is only a temporary setback, which is frantically being worked on.

Honestly not sure, MaX. The one time I got hit by it, I got a TP.
However, logging to desktop completely clears your PC's link to the servers, while merely dropping to login might leave something open that could enable the bug to 'stick' (No, I have no idea how, but I'm a great believer in 'better to be safe than sorry').

You have our deepest sympathies regarding it, Boar, but NCs policy regarding patches is that they don't tell us when they're being applied until the day it happens.
Much as I hate to say it, though, the odds are that it will be Tuesday of next week (which is the most common day for patches to be applied).
If we are extremely lucky, they'll patch it today, but I wouldn't hold my breath, if I were you.

Essentially you need to use some form of teleportation power to get a resync, though as mentioned it doesn't always work.
well i tried the test server with /sync it works wonders...and the servers are down so i think it might be getting added today fingers crossed

I had that a lot some time back and yes, back to login screen works.
I am finally on my first lvl 20 toon and im trying to get my cape but when i go to go on yellow line the hand icon appears but when i click it doesnt show the list of cities...please can someone help me ?
