Well done again mate and really glad to be the one credited with your ding arrest

Looking past the powers picked at each level
Its a good looking build with the only Neutron Bomb a power I'd 'mmm' at
Just a personal thing as I find that by the time the blob of yellow hits its target, its already been killed by a teammate.
I'd have that swapped for Choking Cloud for those semi tank moments/self defence. It would require full slots tho, so perhaps not enough to spare.
So assuming you don't change anything, I'd pickup Mutation at 35 as that nuke from Fallout might require positioning that your team prolly doesn't have time for if someones just plantedMutation buff to player is pretty damm good and you can get away just slotting 1 end red or rec red in it. With Fallout you'd require acc and damage to make it worthwhile - not to mention recall friend to take real advantage.
I took Elec Epic on my defender and Power Sink makes it all the worthwhile - particulary after EM Pulse and I assume the Patron version operates the same way. Certainly a thumbs up on that one and the shield is a good one too for the /energy resistance.
Pet wise I don't really have any experience with but with AM+Hasten combo at least it will be available more than most peoples.
Edit: Just noticed it was you 'Neon G'Hope those PC probs sort themselfs soon. Was with you last night on 'Coldhearted Vixen'.

Spent the better part of a year leveling defenders and controllers and didn't want the responsibility of being the 'meat shield' some look for in brutes, so rolled a few stalkers.
Love the extra protection it brings but the thought I can be killed almost instantly is kinda cool too
That and its great for exploring the game world reasonably safely. -
Don't see any reason why I won't be online tomorrow night.

Dont know if spore burst draws aggro or not. If not it might be handy for setting up seeds so you dont get wasted while trying to confuse them.
[/ QUOTE ]
Fraid it does as its also got a minor dot dmg element to it.
I still like the AoE sleeps but it can be totally wasted on some teams/players and even an experienced (and good!) player can mess it up if you don't warn in advance your about to use it.
But by no means is it 'essential' power to have. -
I have a high level Nin/Regen and Divine Avalanche saves my stalker so many times
However to reach a point where your doing more sustained fighting and not mind numbing hit n run stuff, takes a long time. At least level 27 when you start to slot Soaring Dragon or whatever that level 26 attack is called
Till then I had Sting of the Wasp, Flashing Steel and DA (and AS of course mixed with brawl).
Learn to use Recon heal a bit earlier due to the draw time and dont rely on DA too much in melee - use the heal if in doubt as by the time DA is activated you could be about to die mid animation.
I'd advise working in Fast Healing too, really helpfull HP boost. -
Despite feeling alot of bad vibes with this one (lots of heroes with full cossies, strange powers getting activated, tons of lag, not seeing Hami, the twit who taunted during brawl stage and the GM in the mix) everyone pulled thru so well done again folks!
-
I may not be on this week. First day back to work today and I feel like vegging infront of the tv for a change
-
Nice vid of the Nin/Nin stalker with the water spout in action.
Bile spray looks greatOnce I get it myself, how would I set it up to use the power and then do the burp emote? Or would I need to just do the emote normally after the power?
-
Well done everyone
Did a bit of everything in this one - held Hami, used the rad buff before going back onto holding and the finish was so Holywood! -
Halfway to 11 now, got my first debt but despite what seemed a complete team crash, we got our temp fly power
Must confess to enjoying this Grav/En more than the Plant/Fire I had intended to use later on. -
Played Mr Davidson (Grav/En) but might be moving to a Plant/Fire (Black Light Radio lvl 13).

Bah looks like I'm already out of the running

Why?

Full team already ... -
If you can work out a decent build and can live being possibly weaker defensivly than the rest till lvl 18, then I'd edge towards the side of DA.
Divine Av is a great tool and helps out my regen stalker a hell of a lot and I'd assume would do the same on the dark armour side of things too.
However DA also has weak resistance figures for the elements (longbow flamers argh! ect)and as already pointed out, its endurance cost seems sky high at times - the heal especialy so but a very strong one if fighting 2+ foes. Also has the bonus of great psi resistance and while it will drop hide, CoF/OG should be handy ... sometimesOh and don't forget the leaping pool for acrobatics
My solo villain for Deviant is a Nin/DA, only lvl 4 I might add but it has potential.
Edit: But Dark Embrace sound still continues to drone on an endless loop which may break you unless they fix it for live -
Yeah as Cap says it will be an almighty struggle to defeat anything with your build - my current one is somewhat in that position with Sting of the Wasp/Divine Av/AS/Soaring Dragon and I miss not having Flashing Steel and SotW would be handy too.
Whenever I try build a lvl 50 for my stalker I end up with differences each time but this one seems ok I think ...

Didn't know you as well as others but always valued your knowlage and enjoyed your company.
Take care and hope WoW treats you well. -
Yes you must be on the ground since your meant to be stamping your right leg into the ground to create the tremor, sending all those around the target into the air.
I found it more of a fun power than a great power to play with on my controller (a short time on the test server). -
Look for me on er any of my 3 globals for an invite to the CR tonight, I'll be on now untill late (NTL connect willing).

The one saving point for the DA AS is the muffled scream sound and big skull that appears
