I think there is a command that pulls up the Arena interface from anywhere.
At least I seem to recall hearing about something like that.
I'm such a noob... -
My backyard was littered with Arrowheads and various other Indian artifacts.
Every summer when I'd be forced to cut the grass I'd always find a few new ones.
Still got the most impressive ones. And a huge chunk o rock that was obviously where one was chipped out of.
Only thing that could be called treasure though would be the beaded necklace.
My 1st thought was my sister had left her junky plastic necklace outside. Then when I picked it up I noticed it wasn't plastic. It was bone...
My science teacher was so impressed she called the local museum.
It's still there. -
*Raises arms to cast Heal Other on Pogothulu*
Oh wait, I'm a blaster. I keep forgetting.
Throws him the phone book instead. -
I named mine The Emerald-Spider
-
*Blocks Aisle 4 with his pet gorilla named Abe*
Make sure nobody gets through Abe ol Chum.
I loves me some chocolate! -
On 2nd thought, I would've joined his team. Went in all excited, then after a mob or two I would make a big deal about how this is pathetic XP's
I was making twice this much before I joined you..
and then I'd quit and vanish. Leaving the 'Newb' wondering what this massively amazing farm I have is...
All subsequent /tells for info would be ignored naturally. -
I would've launched into a debate about the use of the term 'Newb' vs
'Noob' and then proceeded to explain the various ways this game differs from the other MMO's. That it's about the journey and not the 'Uber XP's'
Once I realized this was getting nowhere I'd inform them of the irony that the real Noob is the one that rushes through 6 years of great content in a ill-concieved notion of being 733t.
Of course, this would all naturally led to the Guy? saying something along the line of "Lrn2Ply" at which point they'd get the 1-Star and ignore treatment. -
This is a feature of Super-Sidekicking!
Enjoy! -
Kiting helps.
Having enough speed to get out of range of his 'Sap you, Buff me' power will help
As others will no doubt say;
Inspirations!!
I was able to do it on me 44 DM/Regen but just barely... and I had to resort to pulling out the shivan when I ran low on blues.
My Blasters on the other hand haven't had any issues with him, as an EB.
Tried to duo him as an AV with a scrapper and blaster with no luck. -
*Stretches and yawns after that most amazing hug*
I smell coffee!
*Runs to grab some before it gets cold*
Whats the plan for today? -
The markets been like that for me since they came back up.
At 1st I thought that I'd just hit it right when it came up and everything
was at 0.
Then I looked up and realized... -
I don't have a Demon/Pain so I can't speak to the specific build info but...
Since you mention this is your 1st MM and your 1st villain let me save you a headache.
/macro Goto petcom_all goto
Do that. It will make all the difference in the world!
Also, the contact tree on Redside is not like Blueside.
You unlock contacts by doing Mayhem missions and then talking to the broker. Use this handy guide to decide which arcs to run.
COV contacts
I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help with the build. -
Now this would be really cool.
Have it to where you could go GM vs GM
or GM vs Team of 8
or 2 GMs vs 2 GMs
Just imagine having Babbage and Eochai teaming up against
Jurassic and Adamaster.
It'd be epic!
Consider me /signed -
While I won't dispute the fact that Blasters are glass cannons. I do take issue witht the squishy term.
Nowadays I die twice as much on my melee toons than I do on any Blaster.
I'm pretty sure it's just experience, making me more aware.
That and scrapperlock /Fury-ragelock make me forget I have a health bar to watch...
Don't have that problem on Blasters. ;P -
Quote:Nemesis Plot: He created Paragon City to keep Supers out of the rest of the world. All NPCs are Automatons, the Zig is a Factory, there are no children, the water is 4 ft deep and dyed to look deeper, etc. etc. To pay for it all our adventures are televised.
Face it we have all fallen victim to the greatest schemer in history.
We have a winner ladies and gentlemen!
I can actually see this being the perfect segue into COH2 if it ever comes around.
We all find out, Truman show style and break free. Once in the real world we notice everything looks more virbrant (better engine) and some things aren't like we remember, (new abilities not possible with this engine)
I like it. -
Yeah, if your looking more at ST damage Ice/Fire would be the better choice.
I however just couldn't get into it past level 24. Felt too weak compared to my Fire/Ice
Nothing can compare with the mitigation tools in /Ice. When combined with the raw firepower of... well Fire, it just becomes sick.
That said, Fire/Ice does play more like a spawn melter. Hit shiver, Aim+BU and go to town. Drop an Ice Patch for the ones that make it to your face.
The tools available in /Fire just never meshed that well with Ice/ for me.
Personally I'd go with Ice/MM or Ice/Ice over Ice/Fire.
But thats just from my experience.
If your having fun then thats all that matters. -
You have hunger pains from the infestation devouring your intestinal lining and making transdimensional interfaces into visual companions while enjoying pickles soaked in prune extract overnight betwixt thousands upon thousands of gleaming spectacles vomiting extremely vile copious bile onto unsuspecting sentient cockroaches, which oddly feels like a hot roast beef/salmon entering a very cavernous mouth, and stimulates frenzied ferrets in perpetual, harmonized, synchronized, and, ironically, disproportionate proportions of reefer and cheese mixed with stuffed olives -- you, idiot who was eating itself while dancing with wolves wearing orange see-thru sarongs covered in artificial chocolate cockroaches squished between monogamous pigeons mating atop mountains copiously covered specimens astride axiomatic hirsuite diseased cockroaches, stop, collaborate without discussing ramifications of

It was such a problem for me long ago that I had to figure out a work around.
The way I do it is to have tray 2 and 9 be set up identical to tray 1, that way if I happen to hit the arrow I still have the same setup!
I use tray 4 for my top tray and setup 3 and 5 likewise.
It's saved my bacon more times than I can recall. -
So you want this wonderful world we've strived to protect for years to
be destroyed in the end?
Really?
I'd like to see the massive influx of Incarnates become so much that crime all but vanishes. With no crime, no need for Heroes, thus we can all retire without feeling like we lost.
Of course, I'll be here even after they turn off the lights. In spirit at least. -
Yeah I thought it was a matter of perception.
Until I realized it happens with the blackwand and Nem staff too.
Even with the bugged 'pull from the ground' animation I'm still moving.
Makes it look like I'm dragging it through the ground.
I should get Heavy Burst tonight so I'll see if it changes. -
I recently created my first SOA and noticed something odd.
I can shoot without being rooted. I can run and gun like it's a FPS.
Instead of stopping to fire and then moving again I just keep on trucking
and firing at the same time.
Having played blasters for 6 years I know this isn't something that should be happening. Unless it's unique to SOA.
So, thats my question. Is this a feature of SOA's that I hadn't heard about? If not should I /bug it since it's been 3 days and it's still happening. I'll add that it's the only toon it happens on and when I made a
second SOA just to see if it was a fluke it was possible on the new one too. -
Can't speak from personal experience but my RL buddy recently deleted his level 28 DS/Therm because.
He "didn't like being a boring ol buff bot."
He re-rolled as DS/Dark so he'd actually have something to do.
His words, not mine. -
Ah the Nemesis Horse, one of the coolest looking things not in game...
-
Well, at least not until your comfortable with the encounters in game.
Personally I use Snipe pretty liberally. Even more so if I'm on a team.
That said, unless it's a really hard target, the set up time for Snipe (unless Aim and BU are involved) usually means it would've been quicker to just chain attack...
YMMV -
Still having this issue myself. Can discern no rhyme or reason.
Ultra mode seems to have no effect. Settings to full or completly off doesn't change the LC messages.
At the advice of a previous poster I stopped monitoring all attributes, with no change.
I've turned off and reset all modems, router and adaptors to no avail.
I've taken to keeping the network connections window open so when the LC happens I can quickly tab out and hit connect. Sometimes its quick enough to free me up in game. Sometimes it lags away and times me out.
Getting a little annoyed now.
