So whats the ETA of Arcanaville 1.1?
  2. Well Titan Weapons is a weapon set, and it apparently has the highest ST and AoE damage of all the melee sets.

    Tornados

I really do like knockback. Its useful and fun.

Which is not to say I don't use the proc occasionally. There are powers where KD is better, like Bonfire and Tornado.
  4. I've never found Destiny to be that useful, actually. Even if you do get it to the T4, which takes forever so I almost never do it, the 'perma' benefits it gives are minimal.

    Best Tankermind?

Building a good mastermind is downright easy. My nin/time/mace was my first ever character that I IO'd, so I had no experience with IOing whatsoever, and it uses a build that I've never updated, and it is still my strongest character. Yes, that includes my perma-PA ill/rad.

The only conclusion is that MMs are unbelievable badasses.
  6. I much prefer the Chainsaw tangent to the Hair tangent.

If we tangent enough I'm sure we can get two or three more varieties of chainsaws.

    Maybe ten.
  7. VIPs can be beggars! Watch this:

Pleeeease give me Triple Chainsaw Melee.

  8. Just wanna add that we DO have time travel, so event B could come before even A, even if A caused B.

I will keep saying as such in hopes the devs don't repeat this nonsense, although I suspect they will.
Judgement is easily one of the most powerful slots. With a bit of debuffing it can wipe all the minions in a spawn.

So the Slap in the Face drinking game starts the instant i24 hits Beta.

Hell, we can start it now.
  13. Then I submit that the Well is either Nemesis or Dream Doctor.
  14. The well is (as much as I hate it) a mad god. Sentient. We've talked to it before, in the Ramiel arc. The current well is not a character we've met because people don't ascend and become wells. Rather, the well is a physical embodiment of all humanity's potential.
  15. Maybe we just ascend and start over again as an avatar of ourselves.

You could have Dual Pistols for the whole shadowing effect.
  18. To be balanced they don't have to perform exactly the same in every scenario, they just have to have enough scenarios where they perform better/worse to average out.

Well you'd definitely need Burst of Speed and Spring Attack, plus a few teleport powers for good measure. I don't recall him having any blaster powers, mostly hand-to-hand, so you'd probably only use your primary for set mules. Sands of Mu would be a must.

This may be a bit...much, but do you have any idea how much muscle mass and bone density it would take to punch through a brick wall? Pick up and support a half-ton car, let alone throw it? Correlation, in this case, does indicate causality. The very nature of a "super strength" (barring like, say, Iron Man) power indicates some sort of physiological adaptation to support it, which would make that person inherently more resistant to damage than a normal human. Even Spidey has an increased healing ability, can take concussive blasts, super-strength punches, etc. and still be slinging witty banter.

As for Invulnerable types who don't hit for much...well, that's a little more difficult to find an example of.
Yes its very easy to say how most common superpowers would make you explode/blood boil/grow into a mushy paste/break all your bones/ect but that kinda ruins the fun of it.

Make all weapon draws work like Fire Sword/Ice Sword/Stone Mallet and just materialize in your hand.

Would it be a shame to remove the animations? Yes. They are immerse. But as the game moves more and more from DPS races to action-oriented combat, this is steadily becoming a greater and greater issue.

But while we're on the subject, when are they going to fix the Titan Weapons Momentum animation-while-out-of-combat rooting bug? I can use Build Up on my Broad Sword character while moving no problem.
Perhaps just give a 'no redraw' option in power customization. People could still use it if it helps their immersion, and other people can not use it to keep from dying horribly.
  22. Praetoria is basically meant to be a world of grey. That is why you can be Resistance for all the wrong reasons, and Loyalist for all the right reasons.
