War's Herald is unable to go redside, but Shadow of Kronos is pure evil. Literally.

Quote:Yes, its the case in both Dark Astoria and the Emperor's Sword arc.Wait, what? Are you saying that's the case in Dark Astoria, as well? That might be... Interesting. So if even level henchmen aren't broken in Dark Astoria, would they be broken in regular content? Because with that in place, maybe I'll be able to finally solo Mako's Fonts of Power.
I don't think there'd be any problem with all your henchmen being even con to you in regular content. -
Yea, the Battalion have recruited multiple species. The red lava looking shivans work for the Battalion, while the blue shivans are fleeing from them.
-
The specifics were 480 to 600 seconds, actually. So somewhere between eight to ten minutes.
Yea, it definitely needs to be brought down. A lot. -
Yea, like I said, it adds a 20% knockdown chance to things without knockback. So it will, occasionally, make things fall down while in the caltrop patch.
-
Te Overwhelming Force proc, when used in a power that has no knockback capabilities, adds in a 20% chance for knockdown. I think there is another one, but I can't remember off the top of my head.
-
No, they have shown us nothing of the sort. MC doesn't get mez protection, it gets a mez break. On a five minute timer.
I'm not disagreeing about the need for mez protection, but the devs have shown no intent to give it. -
I actually have a KM/EA Stalker named Will O' The Wind. He's basically a crimefighting storm cloud. So yea, I'm not unfamiliar with using KM to emulate wind, but I wand Air Blast, not Air Melee.
Quote:On the note of a potential "Airblast" set, I'm really hoping for it's nuke to be some kind of cyclone that whirls enemies around as it pulls them in closer to the blaster and then shoots them all above his head as they land around him like so much dust in the wind.
Maybe irritating for melee characters as their enemy is suddenly and violently torn away from them, but damn if it wouldn't look cool. -
Yea, didn't even count the countless rikti, due to them being... countless.
My computer couldn't even handle Tyrant's personal story without DCing me four times. This is absurd. -
Quote:So do most people. We can probably get it moved there in Beta.I see a lot of potential for various combinations, but especially for Dark Blast. Dark Blast is a cone-based set with a PBAoE nuke. It has traditionally been a very "ranged" set but the nuke change is probably going to push it to close range more frequently. The -Range debuff combined with an immobilize means enemies won't be able to chase you down after you hit them.
I do wish the -Range was in the knockback power, though. -
Lets see, 48 masterminds, x7... plus a few extras for Thugs, necros, and dark miasma...
We're looking at about 350. On the low side. -
Yea, and Masterminds as an AT don't really have problems. The only place they start to lag behind is the extreme high end, because IOs don't benefit Masterminds as much as other ATs. Which is why my suggested solution is something that only affects Masterminds with IOs.
It isn't the AT itself that is under-performing, it is a few sets in particular that are lagging behind the other sets.
Mercenaries is often considered the least powerful Mastermind set, which is why you may think they're under-performing. -
-
Is it even on Corruptors? I thought it was solely for MMs.
Beast and pain do have a lot of synergy, though. -
Quote:Could work the same with IO sets. Why not do reverse Bodyguard? Each inspiration used on the Mastermind is duplicated, and then split between all henchmen affected by Supremacy. If all six are in range, each receives a sixth of that. Or maybe that's too stringent, but it could work that way nevertheless.

How would replacing a power with mez protection break the rule but replacing a power with a rez not?
That said Rise of the Phoenix is one of the coolest rezzes, and having something like that added into some APPs would be nice. -
Yes, but even before the Battalion came the Rikti already didn't believe in gods. The gods may or may not have existed in their world, but the rikti relied on technology rather than magic long before the Battalion showed up.
-
I think most people know it won't fix everything, and most people also know that it isn't possible to fix everything. But they are fixing quite a few things. But "Fix quite a few things!" is not as catchy as "Fix all the things!".

I don't think it'd be weak. Only one power in Kinetics has to do with giving allies more recharge. You'd have an AoE heal, a way to buff all of your pets damage to the roof, a nice s/l resistance buff that also makes them nearly immune to mez... and even Speed Boost to buff their endurance recovery so you could get away without slotting endurance reduction in them.
