  1. I'm not sure how to answer this question.

Is my current main the first character I created? No. However the first guy I created was deleted before I ever really got into playing him, so does he count?

Also, does it count if my main is still the same character, but given unto new powers? M I Abrahms was originally Inv/SS. Now he is WP/SS. Is he the same character, or not?
  2. Oops. OK, try this again:

@M I Abrahms, M I Abrahms, level 50, Will Power/Super Strength Tank. Signing up for the first run.

"Y'know, the Capes may have some neat stuff...but they don't have intergalactic space travel. Wonder what else I can find while I'm 'helping'."

"I AM THE ONE DESTINED TO RULE THIS LAND! THESE INTERLOPERS WILL KNOW THAT I AM NOT A GOD-KING TO BE TRIFLED WITH AND MY PEOPLE WILL FINALLY KNOW MY BENEVOLENCE AS IT IS MY HAND WHICH LIFTS THEM UP FROM ANNIHILATION!

"Heh, I bet it really gets this cape's undies in a twist to have to ask *me* of all people to help him. But I'll bet it's even funnier if I can slip away and defeat this threat without him EVEN BEING THERE! Hah!"

I dunno. I'd be willing to say that the travel time from the mission to Broker is at least as long for Drea as it is with Becktrees, if not longer, even with the black out.

Ah, but they're not the only ones who are on the naughty side. The players are too, and if they want their share of the take...for something that they have zero investment in, they'd best be Johnny on the spot to pick it up. I charge by the mile, bucko. And the rates are steep.
  6. I have a similar, though less extensive reaction with the first Brokers there. The two are Mikey the Ear, and Drea the Hook. Now Mikey? He's in a sensible area, right between the two Port Oaks ferries, tucked away in the middle of a no-hostiles zone. Drea? He's at the far end of nowhere, and you can either swim to him, or run the long way through enemy-thick territory.

What really gets me is that the broker I get seems to depend on the level I enter Port Oaks. If I'm level seven or less, I get Drea. If I'm already 8 or 9 before I leave Mercy, that's when I get Mikey, when I'm about to out level the zone anyway.

It may be my luck, but that's the way it's fallen for me, with every last Villain I've ever played.
  7. OK, I've been brought up to speed with the whole "arrow in the knee" thing, but why is it all over the comments for this vid? I could swear I never saw a reference to it in the actual video. Unless you count the game of painball.
  8. It looks like if it gets quoted it changes color a little bit. But that's on the Quoter, not the Poster.

Hmm, maybe I should re-post this in the Quick n Dirty Tips thread, to make it easier to find.
That's supposed to turn the text into the color of the Hero Skin right? If that's true, may want to point out that the tags won't work for everyone on the forums, since we've seen a number of people recently mention that they use the Villain Skin.

That's the second time in as many days that I've seen that reference. I'm guessing it's something from Skyrim, am I right?

  12. Alright, there's a lot of stuff that sounds cool here, but this:

Sounds like pure defined owie (for the NPCs). "OK you Hellion, through the power of Gravity, I've pinned your feet to the floor. Now I'm going to fling you into the air!" *Kra-snakle!* "Oops. Those were his shins...weren't they?"

(EDIT: Sorry, combining two poster's info, but I'm pretty sure the female boss Eva is referring to is Ms. Lib.)
  14. You know what? Since we're talking about equality among costume sets, I may as well toss my pet peeve out there too.

I'm still - *STILL* - looking for my Decorated Military Formal Jacket for the Huge and Female body types. All three models have a Military Formal jacket that they can add the Chest detail for awards on, but only the normal sized male option has a jacket with a multicolored, more detailed set of medals baked onto the jacket.
  15. Hrm. Should any significance be given to the fact that the OP is an excerpt from a song?

    Or say...Operation: Destiny?
  17. I good chunk of those deaths were from the first mission where, since I didn't know I'd be leading a team for this, the difficulty had been turned up. They weren't *all* from that mission, but it didn't help.
  18. Oh yeah, there's no way I could miss this. Michael Abrahms reporting for duty.

    WIR? (Spoilers)

Bit late in the thread to bring this up I suppose, but under the topic of appearances by Miss Liberty, wasn't she related to the Winter Event several years ago? It was the second go around (just remembered that it was the first after CoV came out while writing) and the event started out with her giving out the Jingle Jet Packs, many of which were stolen by Black Scorpion and Silver Mantis (so the Villains could have some, too). After a while, the Gamester appeared, claiming to be inspired by her generosity, and the big gift boxes came out.

Again, I know it's a little late, and a minor point. I just thought it was odd that this was so completely forgotten.

If you're talking about the Devs room in Grandville, I think that got yanked, too. Sad thing is I tried looking for it when the info about it first came out, but I couldn't find it. Then again when someone said it was trashed and still nothing. Finally someone said that it had been pulled.
  21. Added fun, their defeat animation seems a bit glitchy at this new size. So far I've only seen them the one time during a PI invasion, and usually they just kind of slump over when defeated. However, there was one that was doing handstands on the Portal Corp building, and another near the end that decided to baseball slide across the parking lot.

Funny as heck, in my opinion.

For an additional cost, consider the final Responsibility Loyalist choice mission. If they stayed Loyalist the whole way through, then that character killed Kang to prevent him from doing exactly what we're supposing the Trial entails.

That's what I figured soon as I saw your post, but I figured it'd be rude not to acknowledge your help as well. Thankfully, got the badge. Now I just have to hope when I flip him back to bad guy land Face of Evil won't give me the same headache.
  25. So, I just found another bit that probably fits into this thread. A line by Montague Costanella.

    "Percy Winkley is missing... again."

Now this is something that folks may already know, but when I first saw it, I thought it was another of those fourth wall referential moments, about how every new Hero would be running the arc (at least if they want in Cimerorra).

Well, I just started a contact that I hadn't run it apparently years, Harvey Maylor. One of the first elements of his arc? Rescuing Percy Winkly from Carnies.
