Sketch looks good to me so far. I especially like the hand in the bottom corner. I can't read her facial expression very well but it is still a sketch and I'm sure that will become more defined as the piece progresses. Keep it up!

Well guys, I just received an email from Arctic Sun and it looks like they won't be adding my piece to the gallery after all. They don't like the fact that my logo is displayed on it and I refuse to remove it because just like my signature it represents myself personally and my art. I don't understand or agree with their hypocritical position at all as it is a FREE gift that I spent a LOT of time on from both myself and W00T Radio (which is why their logo is on the piece as well, it was their event). But hey, if that's their attitude about artists who take the time to support one of their own then they can shove it lol.

Another amazing job! My favorite part is still the pumpkin patch.

That looks really good! I especially like the background sky and how soft/smooth the edges of everything looks. Nothing is jaggedy. Very vibrant colors too. Good work!

Ya know, as much as I LOVE how amazing digital Poser art looks, I just can't agree with that statement right there. I would actually attribute Poser more to photography rather than to pencilwork. Because with Poser, like you said, everything already exists for you to manipulate after the fact with lighting, textures, and different painting effects. And in photography you 'capture' what's already in existence and you can manipulate the image with lighting and different color effects also. There's just no 'creation from scratch' like with 3D modeling and drawing.

^^ Exactly. You don't necessarily have to use the logo itself. I've seen some pretty cool MMOART avs around the forums so far.

1. 'Ebony Hall' was a comic strip series I created back in highschool. It was heavily influenced by the sitcom 'A Different World' and inspired by Archie Comics (Double Digest FTW!)

2. Clueless is a one page comic about Jomaro and I back when we lived in MD. I had just started to play around with Photoshop.

4. Flower Girl was my entry for a pencil challenge on a messageboard we used to run. And here it is in color.

5. This piece was done earlier this year. It is my first and more than likely my last life drawing, lol.
