I have seen at least one of every other combination, but I have never laid eyes on a Psychic/Fire blaster of any level, let alone a 50.

Some people stand by the healer thing, but some people are just new and don't really know what they're doing.
My first 50 was a rad/thermal and all I did on teams was heal (I didn't dip into medicine, so just warmth and cauterize). Although I did use the other buffs/debuffs when they became available, I never got fire or plasma shield - I actually made the character because I wanted rad and I thought (TOTAL NEWB) that it would be cool to have a blaster type with armors >.> I just never realized until I learned more about the game that I wouldn't have had to spam heals if I had gotten the shields.
Anyway, the moral is try to help people when they have questionable builds

Those are already pretty much easy mode.
Don't get me wrong, my favorite villain ATs are corrs and doms and I have quite a few of each, but after running 2 blasters to 50, 3 corrs to 50 and having 4 doms between 33-41, the presence of aim *and* build up (especially build up!) makes a world of difference for me, personally. I don't think I'll ever enjoy a character more than my fire/elec blaster

I think that rad/elec would be a good choice - rad has the aoe covered and elec's melee punches (I'm personally biased to not inclued thunderstrike in the phrase "punches," because scatter = bad) hit so hard it's beautiful. Elec was was I first thought to pair with it and the only reason that I'm not is because I have a fire/elec that I still play regularly and I don't want to repeat it

I'm a villains boy myself, but for some reason I've been on a heroes kick lately - something about the mindless soloing ease of blasters and scrappers
Definitely going to be on villains more when GR comes out <3 -

Well, superteams are about team work through boosting each others effectiveness, among other things (description is much more than that, obviously). While a bunch of brutes would be powerful, it wouldn't be a superteam in the sense that the OP means it. (aoe brutes + kin corrs, fire/rads etc)

I think that not knowing everything makes a story more interesting and I like that it gives you room to use your imagination. One of the most fun parts of a story, to me, is thinking about what you think is going on or what will happen and discussing it with others that are thinking about the same thing.
