Hmm, thought i had posted this earlier...

Just to chip in, i lead the stalker group -Deus Ex Machina- and can be caught on my GH @Lord Qel-Thyr, or ingame as the stalker Meela.

Just a post out of thoughts towards large team pvps and such.

Make it more interesting by including villain groups as challangers etc, as from most things ive seen, ppl dont play against villains that much in arena matches, and stick on Heroes. Not a complaint, just a suggestion.

Once i get post 45 (43 atm) i'll start gearing towards this, depending on how fast i move with LQT, or maybe even my stalker, i shall eventually be up for doing this, and as such will pay attention to guides and posts that will help ease me into the SF, rather than aggro the who FP and wipe the team

Devidose read over the incoming comms message, Requiem... again.... Crushing the side of the panel, leaving it slightly charred where he had exerted too much heat he dropped it to the floor. Scanning through the comms frequencies he found the one he wantedl "Doctor Macallister? I offer my services through the 1AT in your hunt for Requiem. I myself have been hunting this indivdual for some time, and will gladly take any and all attempts at finding him." Looking back towards the rec room he was near he watched over his friends. Thinking to himself he considered what might happen; "This ends now... someway or another, this hunt will end..."

Turning away from the corridor, Devidose stepped into the armoury and removed his tactical assault suit, the colour somewhat faded now. "It ends here..."

((Devidose is (as a few people seem to be) linked to Requiem through character developement, if there is the space available i will bring him.))

Two words.

Devices Blaster

Really, its that simple, i can solo stalkers in Sirens with my Fire/Dev blaster, i admit that they get me now and again too, but its not 1 sided kills.
The trip mines are good, but takes time, 4 or 5 will pretty much assure you a kill, having assault and tactics running from the leadership pool will do 2 things. 1. assault has a chance to resist placate, i remember all too well the time i got crit'd then the stalker i was against used palcate, in my standard fashion i start cycling tab, and was pleasantly surprised when i immediatly targeted the staker. they ran in, i used blaze, defiance did the rest . 2. tactics increases your perception, as does the 2nd tier temp power Infra-red goggles. so does the devices power Targetting Drone. run that and tactics and its very hard for stalkers to sneak up on you.

Depending on the moment, my attack chain is either close ranged blasts ending in snipe as the stalker tries to SJ away, or starting with an AIMed snipe that takes alot of the stalkers life down, then SS up close, and close ranged blasts normally finishes them off. Regen stalkers last longer as they can heal much faster in that time it takes to get close. Alternatively use Web Grenade and plant them in 1 place, Congratulations, you just lit up a stalker to every hero on the map and they cant move.

Devices are on of the easier ways to detect stalkers, but there are some others.

I can see most stalkers in range when they come to AS me, i either throw a fireball at them or caltrop their feet and watch them squirm... then fireball them...
