More tweaks to the DATA arc. More variety of enemy groups, mixed map, and cleaned up dialog. Starting work on the Prince Kiros Nandelu arc next.

My desktop is 5 years old and runs the game fine on high quality.
(disclaimer, I'm running a Dell Precision 690 w/ more RAM than computers have hard drive space, SLI'd graphics cards and two quad-core Xeon CPU's) -
Did you disable the Dell services upon startup? I got the same issue, and it turned out to be a conflict between CoH and the backup program the manu included.

Questions:
Does it occur in Safe Mode?
Have you tried muting the sound in Windows?
I had issues with CoH due to a conflict with my virus scanner, which when I muted the system stopped occuring. Also running in safe mode helped isolate the issue. -
I am buying the additional 5 MA slots this weekend. Working on the arcs in the meantime, so hope to have them up this sat/sun.

Cole wouldn't allow Arachnos to exist. It would be competition to his rule. More than likely with out Lord Reclue, Arachnos withered and was absorbed into the Syndicate.

What's really interesting is: What happened to Arachnos in Praetoria? Arachnos had already been around before Marcus and Stefan took their fated journey, and also, what happened to it's other notable players besides Ghost Widow and Paolo?
Part of me is seeing Scirocco, still as Ihmad, fighting in the Resistance, opposing Cole's Tyranny.
The big question now is: is he a Warden or a Crusader?
Also, what about Gideon Ray? AKA: Captain Mako?
Or Black Scorpion? Barracuda, Ice Mistral, Silver Mantis, Westin Phipps, etc. etc.? Where are they now? (In praetoria) -
Zikar's pretty much hit the nail on the head. Zeus is a major *****, by any definition. He has a god complex, for good reason. Following the books and comics as canon, our Statesman was sliding in the same direction as Tyrant, but some small event changed him. Namely, Recluse. In Primal Earth, Richter was suspected at having died at the well when the cave collapsed. Cole had no idea until months later that he had lived. I suspect that the well feeds the same energy out, in pairs. With Statesman and Recluse, they each absorbed the polar opposite energy. With Tyrant, having killed his opposite, he took in that energy himself. I suspect with Reichman, the flip occured, with the negative going into Marcus, and the positive into Stefan. Reichman functions in the same manner as Recluse in our world, if we look more closely, but unlike Recluse he focused his energy into physical perfection, while our Recluse took his energy and twisted it into a beastial form. (Those spider arms are not mechanical, don't forget)
Using this mindset, I'd suspect the Axis Amerika version of Stefan Richter would be someone far more unusual, not a "Daddy Longlegs" but instead some form of titanic force, an elemental force. Remember, Stefan joined Arachnos, hence he took on the spider motif so as to become Arachnos itself. In this case, Marcus joined the 5th Column, and took on it's motif of physical perfection. An opposing force would have been Stefan going to Russia, and embracing Leninism. I would strongly suspect him as having become the ultimate Communist. And the follow-on to Lenin, displacing Stalin and Trotsky as the leader of the Soviet Union. Now, in this form, the symbol of the Soviet Union was the "man of iron". I'd suspect Stefan having become such a form, a piece of living iron or steel. I'd suspect his name to be "Bolshevik Bear". -

I'm playing a Natural Arrow/Fire blaster. He's perfectly human. What about the /fire people asked. I said it was intensive training under martial arts masters who unlocked his inner fire, training him in how to utilize how body's natural Chi energy to achieve specific results.
Incarnates would just further this, more intensive training under even more mysterious masters. -
Alright, taken some feedback and tweaked my arcs. Both my ELITE and DATA arcs have been updated. DATA now has some more flavor of enemies added as well.

If there was an anti-taunt, to de-aggro the mob. Maybe reducing the stalkers threat level to 0 so that the mob doesn't aggro on it?

I know what you mean. Heck, I had to make myself a Kip due to no model available.
BTW, glitch in one of the missions, it's a lvl 15 mish but the end boss is lvl 20. -

Oh yeah. ITF is a very well done TF, because it's fun, not a pushover, and gives decent rewards for what it makes you do. I do have issue with the Valley of Lag, which Im still pretty damn certain could be cured by simply removing some of the damn unneccesary mobs and capes off LTs and Minion in general (only mob in game that has them) but hey, thats life.
And much obliged on the AE comment. Now that I've got the bug, im determined to re-write the lowbie content because, really, there are SO many stories that can be told all throughout the City. And I've always been a story teller. Time for me to get to work
Edit: Looking at the starting contacts....they really are terrible. Theres no plot, no cohesion...just a string of crappy, one of missions.
Gonna get rid of that, for starters. Rick Davies is next up on my hit list.
What I've been trying to do is adapt their current arcs into a coherent introduction story. A way to learn about the city, and the challenges within.
I also had another idea on how to use the Security Chiefs, who are currently only used for those street fighting missions. We could instead give one-off timed missions in each zone, like the missions in the PvP zones or those missions that Marcus Valerius gives. -

That said, "power armour" isn't a costume item, it's an entire costume, or should be, anyway. That's more than I'm willing to take away from costume creation and add to power customization. There's a reason we have a costume editor.
What's more, the set looks more like a Forcefields set than a power armour one. Not that I wouldn't want a Forcefields set. -

Right, I've decided to actually start work on re-writing ALL of the low level Hero content. Starting on Atlas, moving across to Galaxy, then onto Kings. Maybe beyond.
Honestly, it's really not that hard.
