  2. Just an FYI, when phasing you can get hit with something like a hold or debuff yet the animation still goes off. At that point you are phased but have "resisted" the debuff. Should anything drop your toggle that is resisting the debuff it will still hit for the length of time it normall holds for. And if it is a hold that is sitting there waiting to hit then it will drop your phase. It is likely that you either ran out of endurance, or something dropped your status protection toggle.

    Very hard to say after the fight is gone and you didn't post any combat logs showing the attacks.

    I run into stuff like this alot since phase is actually part of my combat string.

    hide, build up, assassin strike, energy transfer, placate, total focus, my 2 minor attacks, followed by air superiority to knock them down during my phase animation. phase. Wait for build up to recharge, manually unphase after they swing and miss then repeat. +3 boss dead normally with me only taking 1 hit. But yes, i use phase alot.

    Ugh, was that really happening? So if Statesman runs up and knocks me down to 1hp and then a player hits me .367 milliseconds later I get almost full debt? How is healing calculated into this? Regen?

    Need more info here...
  4. Is thunder strike supposed to require a target to be in range AND targeted in order to be able to activate? This is unlike any other brute/tank AoE power. Or is it just me?

    Upside - it's not wasted when target runs away.

    Downsides - Can not use it to hit stuck enemies in walls. Hard to use on mayhem missions, won't be able to still hit things when confused, blind, taunted.

    Overall I think it's a mistake in the power.

    Other than that I'm having a blast with it. Running solo and on Viscious since level 3. I feel a damage decrease coming...

  6. Sure wish I had that image last night... Might have got my 17 presents i had left before servers turned them off at 11:52PM. And yes I waited till the last minute on my hero. Wanted the jetpack for as long as possible and just assumed they would be nice and shut off at 12:00 PST for the west coast customers.

    200 is a bit much for a badge though. I shudder to think how much debt was accrued over the past two weeks from people rushing about to get presents and leaving the spawns for the lowbies to "discover". A good peace offering for such a poorly planned and executed event would be to lower the amount needed to a more reasonable number. Say 100?

    On a side note, am still amazed they let you keep an avatar with that word on it.

    Longbow Nullifiers do not have any such power. They do not have any attacks that remove buffs or any detoggle effects.

    High level Longbow Spec Ops have EMP Grenade that drains a lot of Endurance which might have been what you experienced. They've killed me by draining my remaining Endurance which turned off Granite Armor. They're minions though so they're easily killed and should be dealt with immediately.

    Then I should have bugged that mob then... I ran into a 3 mobs worth (yes they spawned that close together) on a 6 man team and first volley completely detoggeled my energy/energy brute. 2nd volley = dead. had 1/2 end by the time i realized my toggles dropped.

    Only happened once, i thought it was the fact that there were so many nullifiers that they stacked up and went through whatever defenses I had.

    The purpose the Rogue Isles Mercenary Army is to collect money for services greatly needed in the Isles. Various other groups need the firepower that we can offer. Some need to increase their worth in the eyes of Arachnos or other organizations and we are the team with the power to do just that....for a price of course.

    The founders of R.I.M.A. have paid a healthy price to acquire the blueprints of Crey's Power Tank robotic shells and have went to work perfecting them. What we have invented is the perfect armored shell for warfare no matter what the situation. We take finely honed military personal and equip them in these mobile units to win whatever war is needed to be won. Depending on our current roster we should be able to fill whatever order someone might need to get the job done. These units have several classifications, Assault, Ghost, Blast, Tactical, and Containment (for a full description of their capabilities please set up a time for a demonstration). You can mix and match or just order whatever we have on hand. While results aren't guarantied, loyalty and 200% dedication are. These men and women shall fight to the death, or at least our own teleportation system for whatever cause you think is right or against whatever cause you think is wrong. Your choice, we really don't care as long as we get paid.

    Normal staple of services rendered include the following:

    ((R.I.M.A. is a Virtue based villain group. This is a strict themed VG with lite role play thrown in. Although we don't require you to role play your mercenary, it is encouraged.     Yeah, he is. He was designed to be as close to a Player Hero as we could make him. How do you guys like the Toggle Drop on him? Is it too nasty or does it add a nice challenge?

    I simply could not defeat him solo. Had to call in some robotic assistance to keep him off his feet. This was on my Dark/Fire brute of equal level and base difficulty. I've never had this much problems with an elite boss before. With that said I did like him though. I just don't think he should be miles ahead of the others we have to fight prior to him. Either drop him down or bring the others up. Maybe something in the mission description saying bring friends along...
  11. I'm outleveling in Cap too as a brute. I have yet to team. Went to Cap as soon as i completed the radio missions.

    Aparently failed the last mission on one arc (bugged it, never saw anything to protect nor goldbrickers trying to escape)

    Finished 2nd contact

    Got 3rd but wouldn't give me any missions due to me being level 15 upon completing the 2nd arc.

    I'm scared to think what would happen if i actually teamed and did anyone elses missions too.

    When you datamine you do have the ability to just datamine characters of a certain level right? Say oh.... 44+? I mean no need to datamine EVERYONE when they aren't even eligible to do the tf's.

    I personally don't mind doing "good" tf's over. Hell i've exemped down to do posi with friends when i was level 24 with no debt. Was still fun. But traveling the shard and doing that quarterfield *shudder* tf again just makes me ill thinking about it.

    We now have 18 months worth of data. We looked for a more effecient solution, but our estimates still come out at 2 years to datamine and get you your badges.

    How is it that you awarded the kill X badges then when the different issues went live. I'm sure you didn't datamine that. If you track how many of each villain/monster are killed couldn't you just look for the end villain for the TF and award based off that?

    I agree 2 years worth of datamining is insane for a badge. But there has to be some other way of doing this rather than forcing those of us that spent the time doing all the tf's to do them over again. Think outside the box here.

    Actually I'm more interested in archiving/keeping the OLD content. Such as bringing back the souverniers and adding badges to the EXISTING TFs already in the shard. As it sits now I will never bring another of my alts into the shard. There is nothing more for me to do there and without souverniers/badges I have no reason to even attempt those TFs again.
  19. Monkey badge has been lowered. Never hunted monkeys before on live with my level 39 WS. Logged into test and was 3/4 there. That is from missions only.

    My main problem is the Shard TF badges not being rewarded upon login. Now if they say it will be datamined and awarded on Live then i'm fine with that. I know for sure though I won't be doing those TF's a second time though. Especially that boring Quarterfield TF. Moonfire is right there too though on the excitement factor. At least it's a short duration...

    Guild Description: We are a team based SG with a bit of lite roleplaying. Quite a few close friends and have members in all timezones across the US as a few in Europe.
