  1. Personally, I'm more worried about the inevitable idiot who sees a real little girl and decides it has to be one of the illusions, and just keeps going.
  2. Great. As if Facebook wasn't stupid enough as it already was, someone's actually making a movie about it's founding years.

    What's next, Facebookville?
  3. I feel like I should donate something to Charity in his name. I wonder if Childs Play would be appropriate in this case?
  4. If you own a Wii, you are gonna wanna buy this when it comes out:

    Dear LiquidX

    Dear Manofmanychars,

I got your reliable contact through the information received from my husband's attorney who has been of great assistance to my immediate family since our departure from Brunei. I am princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Lay Onna Pile Of Origami the Third. But you can call me Dot, wife of prince Jeffri Bolkiah former finance minister of Brunei the tiny oil rich sultanate on the gulf Island of Borneo. I would save your time by not amplifying my royal family history which has already been disseminated by the International media during the controversial dispute that erupted between my husband and his step brother the sultan of brunei sheik Hassanal Bolkiah. As you may wish to know, the sultan had accused my husband of financial mis-management and impropriety of US $2.8 billion which was as a result of the Asian financial crisis that made the government owned Amedeo Development Corporation (ADC) and Brunei investment Company to be declared bankrupt Furthermore my husband was indeed kept under house-arrest, and later developed heart problems while in detention but has been restricted from travelling outside the province for proper medical care also his private bank accounts and several properties have been confiscated by the sultanate thus completely obliterating his distinguished position in the country's history. However during this gory period,I was advised to evacuate my immediate family outside the province to avoid further intimidations from the sultan and his network of security operatives; so we went ahead to dispatch under special arrangement the sum of US$48,000,000 into the safe custody of a private security and trust Company to enable my family survive life abroad. Hence I seek your good assistance to invest these US$48,000,000 into profitable ventures due to reliable inadications that your country has a viable economic growth.

Nevertheless after subsequent deliberations, we have decided to offer 20% to you as compensations for your anticipated cooperation while 10% have been mapped out to cover local/international expenses that might be incurred during the course of transaction. Please kindly note that my family has been humiliated and jeopardized by this unfortunate incident, but will count on your utmost considerations towards the actualization of this investments abroad. Finally I look forward to your prompt response through my private e-mail: totallynotascam@scam.org to necessitate the immediate release of funds into your country. Thank you and God bless.

    I remain, yours sincerely

Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Lay Onna Pile Of Origami the Third

The post you just quoted qualified their statements several times, yet you chose to intentionally ignore that part. I realize it makes it much easier to make your case when you use selective reading, but it is dishonest and reflects poorly on you.

Keep in mind, that may have been true at the time. Especially considering they now have more then 15 people on the team, and have access to new tech they didn't have a few years ago.

The Top Cow series featured the "major" heroes, but they ranged from Okay to Meh to Bleah in various aspects at various times, and I did not care for the way some of the authors treated the various characters. Some of the scripting was just painful to read.

The exception in Top Cow writing was Troy Hickman. I think he gave us a Statesman with humanity and a functional but "interesting" Freedom Phalanx. I really enjoyed his take on Citadel as well. I have continually banged on the drum to revive the comic with Hickman scripting and the Noble Savage doing the art. I think that team could revive either Blue King or Top Cow and put out a sensational product.

I am very interested to see where that "clue" is going to take us.
I think the worst part of the Top Cow series was that Manticore kills a villain in cold blood, and yet all the Freedom Phalanx does is give him a slap on the wrist. He gets a "Get out of Trial free card" and a "Please try not to do it again, young man", and that's it. It was like one big "FU".

This is a throwback to the 60's/70's/early 80's stuff that I started to loath as a kid, much less a grown kid. It reminds me of Batman and Robin, the Schumacher film.

Camp can be good, but this is to much for me. It's an extreme departure from the comics, and the character himself. I remember reading the Batmite stuff in the comics, and I was not impressed then either.

Where as The Batman I was disappointed in the art style, and the depictions of the villains, in Batman:TAS I found the perfect depiction of Batman as well as his cast. There were bits of humor thrown in that were very Batman-ish. There was also continuity, and consequences. People died. Maybe not messily, but people died, and it brought a drama to the show.

Batman:TBaTB harks back to the Adam West style cartoony villains and jokes, and I can't take that. I snubbed it when Sho first loaded the poster for it, and every link that I have seen has made me very glad I have snubbed it. The only funny thing about that trailer was Green Arrow, and his "Can I be Batman", due to Ollie's Bat-envy. The voices annoyed me, as did the artwork.
Have you actually WATCHED the show though, and given it a chance? Or just based your opinion on snippets and posters? Because I'll be honest, I was worried when it was first announced (I'm a huge fan of Batman: the Animated Series, myself, and still think it's the best depection of Batman ever), but after I actually watched a few episodes, I enjoyed it. It's not even close to being anything like the godawful Schumacher film (The ONLY movie I walked out of).

That's exactly why I decided to post it here. I feel that it's worth discussing the trailer on the merits of the trailer itself, because it's not only original, but could even be considered a mini Brave and the Bold episode.

Now THAT was a creative trailer.

It's not your fault. I really should have realized that someone new might not get the joke (Personally, I love how Troy promotes his own work, which is why I take every chance to pimp it myself). So really, my bad.

    Perfect Endings

    The Shield.

I loved how Vic lost everything he held dear, including being forced to work a desk job.

As Troy Hickman can attest, we hate it when authors Pimp their own works, like Troy Hickmans Eisner Nominated "Common Grounds", or his Top Cow Pilot Season winner "Twilight Guardian", both of which you can purchase at any fine bookstore near you. Or, if your broke, you can steal* from any fine Bookstore near you.
