Thanks to StarGeek for the info. I think I can sefely post that the name was a gag name for the Hotel in Revenge of the Nerds II. With capitols used for the lights that were working. Heck, you should be able to type ***** ***** ***** here and not be modsmacked. There are actually several real hotels with that name out there. I know cuz I googled it.

I wish you the best of luck. My wife is a gamer as well. We went to Hero Con 1 even (missed 2 cuz of a play BAH!). And I am blessed to have her. My only suggestion is that, because we still argue now and again as to how much we play, it's a timing thing. Sometimes you do have to step away for real life (sorry fanbois, but you do) for eachother. But I CAN see why you want a girlfriend who does game. It sure makes things a bit easier. If the dev's want to delete this cuz they think it is explotative feel free, but I would like to point out that if you do it right, you can get a free name change from the free server transfer as well. Somebody might have already posted this, but if not, there ya go. I just did this on one of my folks and it worked out great. Used 2 of my free transfers, but it was worth it.

Am I blind or have they not released the patch notes from the build on the 8th? I saw a build was coming on the 15th and I still have not seen notes for the one on the 8th at all.

A younger son of a friend of mine, who is on a football team at his school, has picked up using "Verse" (a short form of verses) as a verb. As in "We verse the Wildcats this Saturday." It reminded me of when Bucky cat uses "food" as a verb in the Get Fuzzy comic strip. Seeing a monkey he say's, "I can food that." I love it.

When they drop the 2010 calendar it should list them then. Like they did with the 2009 one. I spect they are hesitant to drop the 2010 one cuz of the date for GR. It won't surprise me at all if they need to move that date around a bit.

Years ago this was less of an issue. Most blasters, who slotted well for damage, would say "Don't worry. If I knock him back... he AINT gettin' up." And that was a GREAT attitude to have. As a scrapper I could respect the heck out of that. I don't see that as much anymore. I won't get into ED killing the "Glass Cannon" here (too much has been debated on that before). But I still tell people I team with not to worry about that KB. "He won't be coming back.", I tell them. And then I am sure to follow through on that. I guess thats the catch.

Ok, ignore question 1 above. I just went over to test and found out they are both right under you when you make them. But I still am curious if people think the grant invis buff is worth it.

I just dinged 30 on my Thugs/Traps and I don't know what to take. ATM I don't have Acid Mortar or Poison Trap as I didn't see how they would help my playstyle (depending on my question below). I'm less of a set trap and lure them into it as I am a run in (since I have the FF Generator and wanna keep my Arsonist and Bruiser in it) and shoot stuff kinda guy. So I guess I have a few questions.

1. Can I make the Acid Mortar and the Poison Trap at a distance like the seeker drones, or is it like the Triage Beacon, right under me?

2. Is the buff from Grant Invis. in the Concealment pool good enough to take to give to my pets? I am not really up on having to reapply it every 2 minutes, but if it is a really good buff, then I might take it. I already have the Fitness and Flight pools.

If you have another good suggestion on something I should take, feel free. I have everything else in Thugs (except Gang War atm which I WILL take sometime soon) and everything else in Traps except the above 2.

I like most of the things my pets say when I dimiss them or send them to attack somebody, and I noticed they mix it up at different times and say different things. So there must be a list of things for them to say in the game and I was wondering if I could add some things to that random list. Is that possible? Does anybody know where in the game files that list is. So long as it is not a pigg, I'm guessing I could add things to it.

I love how the game isn't out yet, and folks are already on sides. You guys do realize you are giving the Dev's massive.... well..... ummmmm..... making the Dev's really happy with this?

It does bite when you come up with a coolin character concept and name and then find out that the name is taken. Contrary to the people who say they "never" have a problem with it, I too find it frustrating. Another option is that now that you can add people as friends and get their global name, find out who has the name you want and shoot them a note and politely ask if they would be willing to let it go. I did just that and got my main on a server I moved to after I left an old one. The owner of the name on my new server told me he never really played the character and didn't really like it and just gave me the name even after I offered cash (in game of course). They might of course refuse, which is their right, but you never know. Just be polite about it.

I am sometimes surprised however. I recently made a MM and was SOOOOO happy to find out that his name was not taken. Brigantine. All his peeps are named after famous pirates. There is a whole back story in my head and I was really happy to find out I got it. So it does happen the other way too sometimes. Good luck however.

Ok, I realized after I posted that I should have said, can I slot Swift and/or the Base Run. Also, what is a -threat component? ParagonWiki only mentions the +Stealth you get in SS. Nothing about a -threat.

Also, it says the +Stealth is minor in SS. So if I had some sort of +Stealth would that "make up" for the slower speeds of NR?
