Speed/Attack threshold?

I would like to use the new Ninja Run as my primary travel power on my new Natural Thugs/Devices MM. With Super Speed I can zoom past folks without them noticing me. Can I get NR that fast through slotting? I know it will never be as fast as SS but can I at least get it to that point (where I won't get attacked)?

I guess I'm asking if anybody knows what that point is Mph wise and if NR can even get that high through slotting.

Super Speed has a stealth component and a -threat component to it. That's a major part of what is allowing you to zoom past enemies.

Also, you can't slot Ninja Run.

Ok, I realized after I posted that I should have said, can I slot Swift and/or the Base Run. Also, what is a -threat component? ParagonWiki only mentions the +Stealth you get in SS. Nothing about a -threat.

Also, it says the +Stealth is minor in SS. So if I had some sort of +Stealth would that "make up" for the slower speeds of NR?

Paragonwiki doesn't mention the -Threat in Super Speed because the game doesn't mention it (unless you look at your Combat Attributes and notice your Threat being decreased by SS). For esoteric stats like Threat, you have to look at City of Data. Paragonwiki does have an article on Threat on its own, though.

As for Super Speed's "minor" stealth... it grants 35ft StealthRadius, the same as the power "Stealth"; the +Stealth IO grants 30ft of StealthRadius. An enemy can see you when you are within (Enemy's PerceptionRadius - Your StealthRadius).

Minions, pets, and Mastermind henchmen have a PercpetionRadius of 45ft, so with just SS, minions will see you when you're 10ft away (melee range is 7ft). Lieutenants have 50ft Perception. Bosses, Elite Bosses, and Archivillains and Heroes have 54ft Perception. Turrets and Giant Monsters have 100ft Perception. Snipers have 149ft Perception. Players have 500ft Perception.

So, for general gameplay, "Invisible" means 54ft stealth or more. SS + Stealth results in 70ft; SS + a Stealth IO is 65ft, both are invisible to the vast majority of enemies in the game.

Note: Some enemies have increased perception through powers (such as Vanguard Sword, or some PPD). Some enemies have normal Perception, but they ignore your stealth (Rikti drones, Rularuu sentries).
