Is it possible that, like with other pet-spawn powers that the AI uses, it'll vanish if the target dies? It's not the ideal solution, but perhaps until it can be fixed, self-destruction might work?

Emphasis on "might", granted, as I haven't tried it myself, but it seems like there's a chance.

    A big Thanks!

There are few people I respect more than those who have served honorably. You have my thanks and my support.

as you can see the list can go on and on....Kinetics is NOT just limited to COH.....if we actually take the time to look, comics are full of beings that use kinetics or some form of kinetics.....

Wikipedia helps a great deal as well!
Just noting that while ice powers might involve some use of Kinetic energy in some form or another...Ice =/= "Kinetics" as it's used in the game.

I don't really think it was a "break the fourth wall" moment as much as a "Malaise thinks of himself as an artist" moment.
  5. Seriously, Zwil, just sayin', but BvP? I know it's a bug right now, and I know that in its current form it should prolly be swatted, but still...MAKE IT SO. I am sticking a Danger Room in my base this afternoon. I am sooooo not kidding.

I am going to have to try really, really, really hard not to go and place a bunch of new weapons systems in my bases, just on general principle.

More than likely, given that an agreement between them was mentioned during the second arc.

I was under the impression that the point of MARTy was to monitor for this sort of thing so that these sorts of changes could be implemented.

I think it's more that he's confusing Longbow with Freedom Corps. Not unreasonable, considering the former is part of the latter. Kind of like how all Loyalists are Praetorian, but not all Praetorians are Loyalists.

Right, but it's also, therefore, pointless to hide it the way they did, except as a "gotcha", that really doesn't work as a "gotcha" anyway because it exploits us not having knowledge that we "should" have.

For what it's worth, the Wade reveal was much better, since we had that "wait, what?" moment in the second arc. There was at least reason to suspect his involvement, and really, in a way, I applaud the Devs for using the fact that nobody has any faith that they know about previous story to sort of hint at him being something more.

But Malaise could've been handled much better. At least toss in some "illusion" factor to the first couple arcs, or the like.

I wouldn't get too psyched in that regard. They were tested together, but that doesn't mean a same day release; we've already had our store updates for this week. But next week hasn't been announced yet...

If that additional cost to unlock the option for these new incarnate powers (in addition to unlocking the slot) before we can craft them is still in place, the reception for them is going to be considerably less enthusiastic than one would expect otherwise.
The cost to unlock the powers has been removed. They are unlocked right along with all the other powers.

Given that the announcement mentioned patch notes, one would assume there is a patch, though if the updater isn't catching it yet...it's possible we'll see it canceled until next week, or that the maintenance may run long.

When Freedom first launched, and they were so constant, consistently going overtime, and even then not really seeming to accomplish anything, yeah, that was unacceptable. That said, it's been a coupla months now since we had downtime like today's, and there's reason to believe, or at least hope, that this is the fairly major i21.5 patch.

When it ends up being something minor, then, yeah, I think a "SIX HOURS!?" gripe may be suitable. But given the context, this time around, at least, it is more or less defensible.

How is it even possible to fail DfB? Especially given that the bosses get neutered with only four people anyway. I'm just...trying to fathom how that works. Were you, like, four Peacebringers, or something?

See, this always confuses me, and it's a perspective I've seen players toss out as well. It seems self-defeating. I mean, really...if I'm putting together a group, I would rather have people that wanted to be involved and part of the group. Especially when you consider that a very small portion of your group, or even a single player, can massively screw things up for the entire League in some of these situations, why on Earth would I want people who didn't want to be involved in the first place?
