Darn I wish, I love SF...

I like the idea of a list, allowing people to ask in game for art, and more importantly the opportunity for the artist to take their own screenshots. Which I find waiting for to be a major hold up in starting a new piece, either the client doesn't have one they like. Or the one they send you is just plain too dark, too small, too blurry, too covered up with auras, powers, the enemy.

My son got me into this game in mid 2006, we chose Virtue because he said that was the most roleplaying server. At the time, I liked running around Atlas Park saying, "Justice Waits for No One...", especially around SGs of 50s hanging around in chat circles...

But since April, the Envisionaries agreed that Liberty would be the balancing new server to build our SG. So I have migrated 2 of my high ups there, since now we play COV there too. Now I only have 2 slots free which I am keeping open for Issue 11 content. LJ is once again a lvl 50 tank, and her lvl 37 scrapper alt will soon be climbing the charts!

On Virtue, I still have my original Super Girl knock off, first level 50 toon ever version of LJ, and I use her primarily for influence gathering or attending a PK event... but now Liberty is my home.

Though I do have LJ alts on Justice (lvl 3), Champion (lvl 9), Protector (lvl 5), Triumph (lvl 5), Victory (lvl 5), and Freedom (lvl 2)... so I guess I need to make ones for: Pinnacle, Infinity and Guardian. Those alts are for meeting people just to take screens, the lvl 9 is only because of the one time I attended Tanker Tuesdays.

This is kind of specific to say the least, which is good in that the artist would not have to do a lot of research, but bad in that there really isn't a lot of leeway as to what the finish will be.

Either than the sharks and the spider, the rest of it is a designer's project, whoever can use photoshop well enough could finish that part of it for you. Yer just missing those two "drawn" elements.

I have a question about the "super imposed" onto the emblem part, do you mean inside the emblem, or the emblem faded into the background like a watermark?

If I were starting this, I would do an oval cut out of the Rogue Isles map, distort it in Photoshop to be the globe. Add the drawn spider and sharks, and then worry about the emblem. Is this going to be a tattoo btw?

I'd offer to take this on, but alas my schedule is swamped, if you can wait till november, I'll take a shot at it... but unlike a regular commission, this is one of those bill you by the hour projects, because the nature of it calls for revisions galore.

When I started playing COH, I had no idea there was a fan art community until I stumbled in one July morn in 2006. By August I saw a screen of Replete and thought to myself, hmmm hope this guy doesn't mind me drawing him. Evidence below:

A couple of days ago I ran into guess who, and well he didn't recognize me, cause well we'd never met in game. But I knew that costume! It was the very first drawing I've done for COH, and my first COH deviant submitted for my DA gallery. So I knew this was an opportunity to try my hand at him again... Evidence below:

Yesterday I got an in game tell from Replete saying he'd looked at some of my recent work, and was surprised how far I've come... I guess he's right, though it's only been a little more than a year, it feels like a lifetime!

Some of you know my past nightmare experiences asking for some strange toon to help me out with an influence transfer...

So I thought this time around I'd ask a level 50, and hopefully get lucky, alas he thought I wanted his own influence, and said, he'd just given it all to some other toon.

When suddenly out of nowhere I got a tell saying,

"Hey LJ, it's me! El_D from the art forum..." (paraphrased)

And my mind went, oh thank god someone I know!

And so for being in the right time and place, and helping a brother out... here's my gift to you sir!

Sakura also makes a brush pen, as does Faber Castell... I've ordered them online, in case you're in dire need.

Will be inking and coloring these pieces all week until it's done, then on to the mondo MM piece for Kindleberry, and finally my last three single toons (Lady Jade, Mistress Jade & Quixotic) until my queue is done.

Since my back is finally agreeing with me, I am happy to be right on schedule... so here's the first of five pieces for this SG. Coloring to follow after the last ink is done.
