Didn't ask me where I wanted to reinstall test...do not like having games put on C drive...everything else is fine.

Quote:I thought they just printed the name of the book and number for the passage no actual quotes.Like a couple of others, I want to know more about what's on that whiteboard!
They are supposed to be tasty, but the 'messages' they choose place on the packages let me know they would never get my money.
As a family owned business I suppose if that bothers you they don't mind you not eating there so everyone is happy.. -

If you spend 20+ hours a week in game you're logged in too long to be casual, you may not be "hardcore" but you sure as hell aren't casual.
-
A casual player is anyone who spends less then 15 hours a week playing.

Quote:read...then comment...It has everything to do with the suggestion.
The problem with a rating system is that it will not only be used by good players, it will also be used by idiots.
Therefore, as in the above mentioned example, if the tank is an idiot, just hates stormers (or Energy Blasters, or whatever set even though stormers and tanks can work together just fine, the idiot tank will give the stormer a bad rating.
People, aside from the purely ignorant, will give players bad ratings just to grief them.
No, this is a horrible idea. Ratings are client side and need to stay that way. -
Quote:I'm pretty sure if you see this sort of thing on http://www.escapistmagazine.com then you are already infected...or your one of those people who put urls in the search bar instead of the address bar.Every time I try to watch the video, I get an error: "303: Unable to load a resource. Unable to load resources: Error #2306"
Aaaaand, I've just tried it in Internet Explorer (stupid! stupid! stupid!) and it tried to do a "security scan" on my PC....
To anyone trying to view this video...stay away. The site it's on is apparently trying to load malware or something on your computer. -
Quote:Before that I'm told.Gee I remember reading posts like his as far back as 2004. The Doomies have been screaming "The End is Nigh!" from day one.
People who played in the WoW stress test supposedly came back to CoH beta to say how this game was going to fail. -

Every time someone complains about having to figure out new content I'm reminded of whenever a super team gets a new foe and gets wiped a few times and then goes "We've learned what's going on this is how we should use our abilities" and suddenly the blood bath is turned around and some subplot happens and then Robin and Starfire kiss.

Quote:If anyone has a good site for this stuff (I failed at google on this one) I will overlay a second data line for estimated USD.I'm not confident that people with long-term sub plans comprise a majority of sales. They had a 6mo/12mo promo in november. If the bulk of the subscribers took that offer i would think it would've shown a more noticeable uptick between 2Q and 4Q.

Most of those games were never profitable. CoH has been profitable and is still profitable. That and the popularity of F2P at the time of the other games closings are what you are missing.

Well if a lot of people went to longer pay periods in Q3 that could explain it...people also could have let subscriptions lapse in anticipation for DCUO which means some of those will be coming back.
But who knows, we'll get a better idea after Q2 2011 is released. -

...Oh man now he's going to make a Tauren to go along with his elf and dwarf...

Any images removed probably are not approved and so may or may not provide an accurate representation of the finished product. We get enough misconceptions from vague information I can understand preventing further misinformation from unapproved information.

If we get cow tails will we also get cow bells?

Quote:The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing Statesman he didn't exist.I'm sure it doesn't involve "the devil" as that term is used in language because the game generally shuns Christian mythology, preferring instead to use vague terms for compatible entities, such as the Prince of Demons or Rularuu the Ravager. I'm fairly certain that the power behind the Well is neither of those two.
Are we making a deal with a figurative devil? Sure, I'll buy that. Are we making a deal with THE devil? No, we are not, because he doesn't exist in the City of Heroes universe, and never will for reasons of out-of-game business sense.
