  1. If this is only for team arena..Will DR be on or off? Since certain builds do better damage with one or the other.

    Ha!

My blaster got a kill ratio of 23:7 last night. If someone phase or iced up...I moved on to the next guy. Almost had that brute too, we were both 1 attack away from defeat, and he got his in first.

Strategy/Lack of strategy...who cares...I just happen to play an nrg/nrg blaster with fly/hover/AS, fitness, and hasten...and that's it...no APP and no armor, muhahahaha and I PWN villains. Sure I get killed a lot too, but then, I don't play to 'not to lose' I play to put targets down until I die.

    That's why I get killed a lot.

But I also have emptied the entire bus station and left bits and pieces of villains covering the walls.

I have also wiped out the entire villain camp outside the hero base too...MMs and all. I find MMs very easy to defeat on my blaster. And the Aim+BU+Nova 'death from above' drop is a lot of fun.

You seem like a pro PvPer, can I take some notes?

or something with crazy burst dam like a blaster

    [/ QUOTE ]

Blasters give problems to any corr.

It is probably the only heroes' class u can't win at same skill level.

But now point is, why fire? If u are making apvp toon why not rad or sonic?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Blasters still do decent damage and are still a threat to any squishe. Rad and sonic does more damage yeah, but fire is still decent.

The only thing I find a threat while playing a stalker is a /dev blaster. That's about it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I see Dev blasters doing some evil stuff in Sirens and BB, but RV I don't even see Dev blasters. I have always been afraid to make them because of the lack of BU :/

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah the lack of BU sucks. But going back into hide is a [censored] if phase isn't up, and since they have so much + to hit. Plus lolcaltrops.

  6. On mine.. I always did.

    Dominate, levitate, mind probe, subdue..
  7. Same power selection, but I slotted for more +hp and KB protection.

It's certainly more competitive and less reliant on builds than it is on strategy and skill.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Hahaha! Good one.

Current strategy: Mash buttons to use attack powers, while your opponent does the same. Hope that you do MOAR DAMAGE than him. If that fails, hibernate and then phase.

Yep....tons of skill, and really extensive strategy.

Aight. Looks like I'd be looking at a chain of dominate, levitate, mesmerize, and subdue (with confuse when there's time for it).

Think that would be fine? No reason to take any other attacks, right?

Edit: Actually, with the new changes, it looks like perhaps subdue won't even be needed, since the level 1 attack is going to be a lot more damaging than it is currently.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I would use drain psyche after you used levitate, makes it easier to get it off.
