Old PvPer looking to get back into the game..

They redid PvP in I13 and it's pretty bad compared to the old system. Go look at the I13 (and I14) patch notes to find out what changes have been made, there are too many and they're too confusing to list here.
What characters do you have that you'd like to try PvP with? There's a chance at least some of them could be made workable.

Well I have a list of my 50s in my sig.. but I also have..
43 sd/ss tank
41 fire/fire tank
41 ss/elec brute
31 ice/stone tank
38 fire/dark tank
38 fire/elec brute
43 stone/will brute
I think thats about it.. I have other toons but they are less then lvl 20
The Shield/SS could work decently. As far as Tankers go you're better off with Fire/SS or Inv/SS though.

Also I knew PvP was redone..
But do you have any opinion on which combo would be good? for any AT?
What AT are you looking to try out? Solo or teamed, zone or arena?

blaster: sonic or psy / em or devices
defender: rad or cold or storm / sonic or psy
controller: */rad or storm or thermal
scrapper: spines or BS or fire / regen or fire
tanker: fire or ice / SS
I'm in a similar situation as the OP. I'm looking at small team arena and my role on the team will probably be primary damage dealer.
Any suggestions on a character to work on?

Stone/Fire Tanker
FF/Nrg Defender

If this is only for team arena..Will DR be on or off? Since certain builds do better damage with one or the other.
DR will be on. This is for the Pinnacle PvP League.

Then I would make a sonic/em blaster if you're going to be the main damage dealer.
I'd go with the Peacebringer or Fire/MM Blaster unless your team is running a Stalker or two in which case I'd go with the FF/Energy to set up KB/AS spikes.

Hello!
When PvP was first added to CoH I PvP'd as much as I could.. but in time all my friends either left CoH or stopped PvPin and I in return left PvP to focus on PvE..
Well it is time now for me to get back into the game of PvP..
And I come here asking.. For each AT what are good PvP toons/combos?
