Waaaaaaiiiitttt a minute...a year or so ago wasn't there some ****** named twixt (*spelling?) that used to hang around RV whining and complaining, logging out just before being beaten, and generally just being a nuisance? My memories fuzzy, but my goodness, has twixt* emerged again?

Incidentally, I hate the colloquial spelling "woah"... and vastly prefer the official spelling, "whoa". "Woah" makes me see "woo-ahh". It will never make sense to me. -

Logged in this weekend and noticed all my emails are missing. Thankfully I had recently pulled all the expensive stuff off, but still many recipes, salvage...*poof*
Anyone else noticed this this weekend? Should I be freaking out about a hacked account? Or is this somehow related to the whole WentWorth fiasco going on atm...? -
Wow, mine is a bit of a different experience just coming back to the game...blind invites, "lft?" tells quite frequently, even in the early morning hours when I play, and Atlas Park being one big rubberband when the AVs showed up. Even got into a decent sg pretty early on. Are u sure your not hidden somehow? One thing with this particular weekend....no wws... that's got to be a deterent for some gamers...

Really though, I do have my mains that I play...old school builds (for me, remember I'm just returning) like fire/em blapper, spine/regen scrapper, ice/rad corrupter, my first 50 *tear of remembrance* stone/stone tanker.. and I'm delving into new mains: broad sword/super reflexes for now.
I seem to remember some dominater sets not meshing to well together. The dark powerset left a lot to be desired for defenders way back when also. I think I recall some whining about the traps corrupter vs. devices blaster sets, pvp wise that is... I understand the invention system/recipes can fix a lot...but I'll wager there are still some bad combos out there...challenging to play, and not the most useful team wise.
As with most of us I am an alt player and *occasionally* like trying to build a difficult toon. CoX is my mmo of choice, after much experimentation, so I'm not approaching this question trying to down the game or anything...
If there is just no such thing as a sucky build nowadays, then tell me so...once again I'm just getting back, trying new things, and looking forward to the expansion. -

Heya, just coming back after a year or so hiatus and am wondering what the dumbest powers are to take nowadays because I'm a sucker for uhm..trying to do hard things, hero of villian side, doesn't matter. Will I make it to 50? No. Will I get frustrated and delete it before I beat my desk up? Yes. Am I still willing to try? Absolutely. Give me your worst!!! (No I won't Pl it, just play for fun)

So then....my number 2 attempt was correct... i guess it's just to difficult to get it setup to send attachments to one singular toon..u have to send it to every God forsaken alt you've ever failed to delete. But then...what's up with my 3rd attempt? That auto message seems out of line...unless somehow it thinks those are two different globals... this is one thing Champions and Warhammer did well was the e-mail setup and attachments. This just seems goofy. For the record I still like cox better

Trying to send an attached enhancement via e-mail simply to the toon name and get this:
"Emails with attachments can only be sent to global names."
I'm sending this from a hero to a hero on the same account. NO hero to villian or vice versa, I know that won't work.
2nd try added "@my global hero name" in the "To" box and immediately received an e-mail with my attached enhancment to the toon that was trying to send it. (Did this get sent to all my heros?) So my logged hero can send stuff to himself...big whoop.
3rd try edited the "to" box to "@my global, hero name" added a comma. got this:
"Emails with an attachment may only go to a single recipient."
Someone please slap me with the heavy hand of knowledge so I can feel like 2 inches tall and like a complete idiot for not reading the obvious directions which I've neglected to follow...

Guild Description: This is an Alt SG for heroes with ice/cold and/or slow powers in either their primary powers, secondary powers, or both. I'm not going to draw any hard lines here..if u want to include something like caltrops or tar patch as a slow power I can deal with that. Currently FDS is coalitioned with my personal sg for powerleveling, base teleport service, & hosp access.
Right now I'm recruiting anywhere from complete noobs in Atlas (wish I enjoy teaching and pling) to the alts of farmers & friends in PI. I don't advocate, nor do I, broadcast recruit. I see a toon that fits then I send a tell asking if they're interested. We do team together for PvE, TFs, farming and I'd like to eventually bring FDS into zone and/or arena for some PvP fun.
Currently also looking for some capable leaders and/or base designers to help out....if you have alts that would fit us feel free to drop me a line.... -

Damn. Coxers are some jaded mmoers. Here's a challenge: try playing an mmo you have no experience with and not doing anything stupid.
Methinks this game is gettin a wee bit old for these gripes to be hashed out again and again and again ad nauseum...
..but here's mine anyway:
1. Don't quit a tf/sf early on, log on 3 hrs later, and then claim it was your son or little brother who was on earlier. immediate /e kick for that crud.
2. Don't do a radiation infection pull if you're not going to hide around a corner/don't have stealth/run away from your team(or tank/brute)... and thus die the majority of the times during those pulls.
3. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!...stop inviting me to a full team for a friggin bank mish in port oakes, or cap audable. Can be done I know...but the majority of the time a huge team fails to get the appropriate time needed to rush the bank, or just plain fails because they "runz 2 teh b4nk" right away. -

ill/emp troller...
oh and a fire/rad troller fits well with pvp, but vary your damage types...
..some combo of those, yes you want rad, but ya want damage and support too...there are a lot of other possibilities, just a general taste...(i enter sirens and hug support toons, therrree greaaattt!!!) -
dude altitis ain't bad if yer havin fun..heck same here got the bug but i still managed to get one to 50 heh heh
