Its a great combo.

A player named Uzzi (Sin_Harvest on these forums) has this exact mix. With his powers a few inspirations and a bit of luck. I have watched him kill, 1 Zeus Titan, 1 and 1/2 a Herculeus Titan, 4 malta minions, 2 sappers, 1 gunslinger boss, numerous gun turetts, Tac Ops Commander etc etc.. In two words. He Pwns.

You will get especially later on in your career some great powers, namely Elude. So though it may be a slow starter in the long run its great.

I aint keen on either type, prefering instead to play the normal, more powerful (flame bait) arch types. Its all personal oppionion though.

Yes FC is a great buff, esspecially after ED. Slotted with 3 -recharge and if you keep hasten up as much as possible it comes round very quickly.

Most sets have some form of self buff, sometimes using claws as an example its part of an attack.

Why not have a bit of variation rather than all the same builds?

If one of you is useless against a mob you all are.

I can almost gauranteee this wont work.

Theyre both good in their own way.

Revive and confront are wasted power's imho.

Consider CJ for the extra defence/mobility.

Also consider the laser eye power for that added range potential, catch runners and the like.

Also why take fly when your just going to slot it for speed anyways?

Better to dip into the SJ pool, for then atleast your getting CJ and a travel power with some speed. You can always take AS still.

Why take hurdle when you have fly, take swift. Definetly take swift if you take CJ/SJ.

Even if you read all this and then spit it out, please give thought to those 2 end powers. Revive and Confront.

First of Ma/Regen Owns, in both Pve and PvP.

Crow is absolutly correct.

No one truely knows what I7 will bring. Some people think defensive powersets will come out worse, some think the opposite.

Try Ma/Regen. If you like It I'll flag a build up for ya.

First of all Ninjaen I would suggest you wait for your posts asking virtually the same question on the scrapper boards to die down before asking this question on another At's board. Or people rightly or wrongly wont take you seriusly and therefore your questions will go unanswered.

Fot the situations you have given, I would suggest /Energy.

To go with this I suggest either, Ice, Energy or Sonic.

Take a look at "A planned build" thread for info on Sonic/Energy. Which you may have guessed I prefer.

Theyve cleared up the damage now so thats reasonable again.

Defiance is a tad... weak, but not too bad.

I imagine this build to be a real endurance hog, so probably not fairing to well in PvP. I cant help you out for teams/solo as you have not shown us what power's youve taken. DA gives no resistance to things like KB/KD etc.. So probably not that good all around. Unless that is youve taken CJ and Acro? Might be worth looking into if you have not. Though it will cause you further endurnace hell.
Needless to ask you have stamina?
Though wait for some scrappers that know more about the sets before you /respec.

If you watch the video you will be given false hopes anyway..

Dont go into regen thinking you will be able to walk into a mob and not dip into a colour other than green, thats simply not realistic.

It used to be that whatever could not kill us outright, was not gonna kill us. That however is unrealistic now.

You sound as though you have played scrapper before and for that I am glad, too many scrapper go right into the centre of a group rather thans stay on the outside and nibble your way in as it were. How is this linked to regen?

Well regen copes evry well with proper scrapping, it does not deal with 8 mobs wacking you with sticks anymore.

When I was playing Krunch the only times I died were.

@ When I was a noob and plowed in to mobs and got myself right in the centre, taking damage from all sides.

@ When sapper's or carnies stole all my endurance. Therefore dropping toggles.

@ Circle of thorns and their stacking quicksand. Though I think they took this away, it was a nightmare for MA.


You will see a lot of hype about IH. The power will not allow you to plow solo into a group of reds, actually it will but only when your a tad higher level. It will allow you to regen faster (naturally). Its great for popping before AV's and boss's. But all this stuff about 1 Regen scrapper could tank hami with IH is just stupid..

Be wary of MoG, make sure you read every single piece of info on the power. In some situations its just playing with fire to use it.

One great power that looks very humble at the start, but is great in the latter level's when SO's are flying about, is reconstruction. You can get the power which is a reasonably good heal to recharge very quick with hasten and a few recharge SO's. Dull pain yes no longer perma, I used it mainly as a heal rather than a boost.

One last word. Other scrappers will look down on you and say oh you took the easy way, regen is an I win button etc.. Its stupid and massivly untrue. There are some people in CoH I would just love too see play the regen set, they would be shocked I tell ya, SHOCKED!

Anyways just done it with a team myself.

Oh boy has that TF changed..

I liked the "lead the hostage out" bit followed by an ambush. Was great fun.

The Synapse TF is shorter right?
