    With Tentonhammer's article and screenshots all dated 5/15/09 I'd assume it'll be on test in the next few days. If it's ready enough to allow another article of it including screenshots it's ready to be tested in my opinion.

                                                          I took every primary power available to me because Fire/Fire is all about damage output. In my opinion grabbing every power will allow you to be versatile in any situation whether you need delicate operation on mass killing.

                                                          The Fire APP also allows you mitagation in the form of knockback with Bonfire. This power can help control incoming melee damage by keeping your foe too far away to use it, which keeps you alive longer since most times melee damage > ranged damage in PvE. It also includes the power Rise of the Phoenix, so if you do die, you can come back quickly damaging and temporarily stunning most foes in range.

    I do, but it'd be helpful to know what you want your Fire/Fire to be. AoE beast, blapper, ST damage heavy? Let us know what you want to do and I'm sure someone out there will have a build that gets it done.

    Ninjas for me is Definitely Crash Into Me by Dave Matthews Band. The reason being that, if you get enough speed going when you stop the Ninjas have a tendency to...Well...Crash into me.

    New question now: I've noticed that the suggestion made involves shoring up Regeneration rates over Recovery rates. Is it better for an /SR to have more Endurance or more Hitpoints? I understand it is possible to get both (As BillZ's build shows) but I don't have billions to drop on purple IOs to do such things.

    If one were to have to pick between a higher recovery rate at the expense of some Regen or the other way around which would be the best for survivability?
  14. More than that I'd lose a hell of a lot of Endurance Recovery. I need to look over what effect losing .24/s would have on my ability to keep fighting for prolonged periods.

  15. As I near fifty on my Claws/SR Scrapper I've been re-evaluting my build and I'm wondering if I could get some input on it.

    I'm at the Soft-Cap for positional defense and then some (47.7% for Melee, 49.6% for Ranged, and 48.9% for AoE), 187% Recovery, and 315% Regen. More than that the point of this build is the ability to move fast without the SS travel power, which is why Sprint, and the passives are slotted how they are. I've only got 50% recharge but I think I've got a pretty solid build; however, coming from a Blaster my view may be distorted.

    Also, I'm wondering about what the best choice for my 49th level power choice would be. I've narrowed my choices to Confront, Conserve Power, and (maybe)Hasten. I've heard good things about all these powers for Scrappers but I'm still unsure which would be best.

    I'll stop talking now are throw up the build, and if there is anything you experts see that could be improved upon please don't hesitate to change it, I appreciate it!

    If they want to. The game isn't hard to learn, so if they want to powerlevel 1-50 their first day in game I'm fine with that.

    It takes an extra 30 seconds or so to explain where to get something, as opposed to the now common: "Go get to fifty the right way you idiot" or "PLing is bad mmkay", or my favorite "Learn to play the game! /Petition".   24. What funny about this all is that I'd love to see Marvel try to take NCSoft to court on the usage of the words "Ultimate" or "Gambit". The judge would laugh and dismiss the case.
  25. The breakdown in no particular order:

    Hasten - Aside from the ED issues, what makes this a must have power? If you think this is a must have power for a Blaster you haven't taken enough attacks. Chains aren't for Blasters, the goal is to use any tool you can to kill anything you can. Period.

    Fire Sword Circle - Do you smoke crack? Fire Sword Circle is a beast for enemies that get close, which will happen. Better to have it for such situations rather than letting an enemy kill you while you wait for the...Six attacks you have to recharge. None of which are slotted for accuracy.

    Fire Sword - Read above.

    Swift and Hurdle - Why? Get a travel power, that opens up a slot for a power that hurts enemies...

    In closing: Yes, Fire/Fire Blasters can put out nasty AoE and ST damage, but only if you actually take the powers that allow them to do that. Otherwise you're near useless.
