I think Kobolt was taking them out. He had some EoE's.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep, I used a pair of EoE's taking them out. The yellows are outside the range of the green's healing spam and they don't have all that many hit points (KO Blow was knocking half their health off) so it wasn't all that difficult. Like I said last night, that was the smoothest I've ever seen the weakened hami taken down. We only had one death there and we didn't have to back off and regroup. We just steamrollered through it. -
I'll be there with either the blapper or the brute, probably the blapper (it's not like I have anything else
)

As for Aeon, I like the flavor the EBs. I wish more AVs had some form of EB reinforcement to spice up the fights.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, that was pretty neat all the different EB Aeons with different powers. And it was a definite "Oh crap!!!" moment when the came down the elevator after us. -

Currently looking these folks for the STF on Friday:
Myself
Voo
Pol
Penny
Grey
Mental

You can add KT with his Blapper to that list, please. -
[ QUOTE ]
Wait, that's possible? I thought they had buffed those things like crazy so they were nearly impossible to take down. Are they doing something with this event to change that? All I know is my blasters aren't getting near one of those things normally.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep it can be done but it takes a boatload of people. They buffed the drop ships by making them immune to holds and slows (the video was shot on test and you can see they stopped the ships completely.) -
I "think" it's part of a Dropship Server Challenge event set for this weekend. Basically they're trying to organize the severs to take out drop ships during this weekend's Rikti invasion.

What about Shadow Maul? That uses both hands.

Maybe it will look something like this. -
I posted this as a lone suggestion yesterday but now that there's a thread for them here's a couple ideas for day jobs:
While looking through the list of the new day jobs I had an idea for another one, Explorer. Players would work at this day job by logging off at the unique, off-the-beaten path areas in COX. Places like the Developer's Dungeon under Grandville or the Cryptic Lounge in Faultline. As for the reward, perhaps have all of the "fog of war" clear from the map when you enter a zone. I know it's not as potent a reward as the others but it seems to me something an explorer might want.
Also some PVP day jobs might be interesting. Log off in a PVP zone and start earning a temp TP power that ports you to the PVP zone of your choice. Log off in an arena and start earning a temp TP power that ports you to the arena of your choice. -

"Das Omen" by E Nomine
"Anvil of Crom" by Basil Poledouris
"Aggressive Intervention" by Future World Music
Note; I think the video creator matched the video and music up perfectley at 1:25.
"I Wish I had an Angel" by Nightwish
I know the Ravenlore used it in Return of an Angel for the Angels but I wanted to metion it again.
"The Unforgiven" by Metallica
And for Dark Ether, a video set to The Immigrant Song. -
I like it.
Needs more laser beam eyes from the dumpster though. -

I'd like to see the "Hollowing" event. A ouro mission takes you back to this event, and you have to help save people from the destruction.
[/ QUOTE ]Or for villans, have it turn out that you were the one who actually set off those explosives that the trolls have left lying around and collasped the zone.
[/ QUOTE ]
When I was in I11 closed beta I was thinking about a flashback mission similar to this. The mission would have been called "Help the Hollowing Happen." The reason Oroborus wants the hollowing to happen is becasue it uncovers the entrance to the Cavern of Transcedece. Because the entrance was uncovered Heroes were able to find it and keep the CoT from gaining control of the portal. If the entrance wasn't uncovered during the hollowing then 20 years from now the CoT would find it unapposed and use the portal to unleash an unspeakable horror that kills everyone.
For villains you have to make sure the right bombs go off to uncover the entrance. The Outcasts had found out what the Trolls were planning and tried to stop them.
Enemies - Outcasts and Trolls fighting each other
Map - Troll Caverns
Objectives - Plant 4 bombs, Defeat Outcast leader (Frostfire)
For heroes you have to disarm certain bombs or the entrance will be even further burried.
Enemies - Outcasts and Trolls fighting each other
Map - Troll Caverns
Objectives - Disarm 4 bombs, Defeat Troll leader (Atta) -

I don't think Ghost Widow's outfit comes off. I think it's literally part of her. So sorry, she's smooth around the bend.

I was bored and wanted to play around with demo editing so I came up with this. Hope you get a kick out of it.
Surveillance in Grandville -
Great video Michelle and thanks for putting my character in it. Got a little worried when I didn't see him but there he was shouting defiance on the bridge at the end.

3.) More variety for Longbow. For the love of all that is evil, at least give them another type of Lieutenant. Villains fight them so often in the game, and yet, with the exception of the Bosses, the group is incredibly repetitive. Why not give them a robotics division?
[/ QUOTE ]
Here's a quick thought on this, scale the Longbow Wardens down to Lts and minions the same way Paragon Protectors scale down. Was running Project Revnant solo with my blaster last night (ugly) when I thought about this. PPs and Wardens are similiar in they have multiple power sets that use the same model and with their god-modes they're basically a Boss+. The differance is PPs scale down to challenging and intersting Lts and minions while Wardens are boss only. Looking through Pargon Wiki's Longbow entry there are boatload of different types of Wardens. Scaling them down to Lts and minions would add a great deal of variety to longbow. -
Heh, just noticed this, he's got three heads in his hand but he's armed with a war hammer. Gives new meaning to "I'm gonna knock your block off!"

This is an incredible video! Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to save from that link. I did a little searching and found a pretty high-res version here:
Dies Irae -
I just did a fresh install of COX on my computer and decided to be really thorough and delete my COH folder after I uninstalled. Unfortunately I deleted my screenshots along with it.
I was hoping some kind soul might have some screenies of some places I'm looking for. I'm working a huge Shadow Shard suggestion and I'm looking for screenshots of:
The Cathedral of Pain trial. Specifically the willforges and the obelisks guarding the entrance.
The floating CoT fortress you encounter in Scirocco's arc.
Anything with Rularuu architecture, something theyve built. The only things I can think of are in the CoP and the Chantary and Storm Palace themselves. Was there anywhere else you run into something they've built?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
