*slightly* offtopic.. that reminds me of when a soon-to-be closed game refused to install during beta when you had Turkish set as your windows language. Its amazing what various bugs crop up when different character sets are used.

Oh by the way, since i advice to slot up your characters, i know some of you play on Union just for this team. If you need influence just ask. Psy-knight only need one IO to craft and have around 40 million inf that he don't need. Well at least until i can find a Lockdown proc +2 mag for dominate on a reasonable price. (Around 20 millions now which is insane if you ask me). -

Looks like my brain started to work again...
As i stated no Flying Circus teaming that night but as we all reserved that night for teaming together and especially some only get back to the game for that teaming (I am looking at you Velinia. You and Clawd are the ones who has the biggest part on my first level 50 i will never ever able to forget that) i am offer to fooling around with new heroes.
If you have another hero you want to create and get past his/her early levels quickly, i think we can manage to get our travel powers that night. I am fresh out of ideas about new characters as too much focused over the current ones nowadays but i think i can try and see if i can give a defender to go.
Or we can do one past level TFs. Sister Psyche or Synapse or Positron. As i always do that ones, i can include missing members on another run another day.

Hmmm... Yeah we are agree on polite part. I am thinking a way to explain it but my mind a bit fuzzy at the moment but i will try, so no promises.
When you ask something to someone, you thank for the information you recieved. To me it is natural to recieve an answer when you tell someone something. Unfortunately in game getting a reply to your teaming tell is rare, so people thank others for bothering with a reply. That what feels wrong. Not thanking part.

That's really unlucky, Dave. This kind of things happen unfortunately.
Also as you bring this one up i can add another thing makes me feel uncomfortable... I am saying uncomfortable because sad is too dramatic for this one i think. Sometimes whenever i reply a tell from people, they thank me. Why should people thank for something which is a natural act for a human being? I know there are many people who don't bother to reply but that feels really wrong.
Also one more thing, as we discussed blind/no blind invites and the search function of CoH, I am pondering around the idea of creating a channel for teaming, something like Union Team Link channel(or better make it across Union and Defiant? ) where people can announce their teams, levels and ask for others to join. You know some people like me jump between alts when they have nothing better to do and sell/craft in that time or simply stick to one hero and play solo if they can't find anyone around their level.
Will it work or be abused? -

Instead of reaching level 50 on a double xp maybe there can be a different kind of race. Like two teams(one with heroic other with Invincible setting) start on one day morning and past X number hours and we will see who will get better xp/levels on same time period.
Hmmm i think i like this idea... Okay let's wait for next one. Can we see somewhere when will the next one take place? If i recall correctly it will be sometime in June, for Positron's birthday. -

I hate Citadel TF with passion. Only two reasons make me enter that TF; Task Force Commander Badge (even i am not a badger, i like the accolade power) or a friend's request.
Also i didn't see Spirit's post, just now read it. So that completely give us a neccessary one week break.
No tanks(Mr Twinkle is still level 23 and Tomb Guard as good as dead) and two blasters missing will be a big problem.
Take your time this weekend, tie your loose knots, get your SOs or craft your IOs. -

Clarification: people are not complaining about not receiving the 'rest' power. They are complaining about this power not being automagically placed into their actionbar when it is received.

As i have my second 50 and already have two different ATs going slowly to there, i thought it is a good time to return my roots, re-create my first character in this game, which global and forum nick come from.
KD was created as FF/Psi defender but as i am finding playing defenders boring/non solo able (especially bubble ones) i decided to turn the table a bit.
Here's new Knightly, as a Controller nothing less. If people ask me which set fits me like a glove, it is Mind Control. Not only because my first 50 is a mind troller, Mind has great tools to fit my play style, especially when soloing. Tricky, needs planning, resistant to ambushes.

I know enough about Mind side of the things. I need your advices about Kinetics side. I never played a kinetic defender higher than level 12 because of the Siphon Speed. I am one of the people who can't move with SB. With SS i was doing it to myself. So that was kinda weird for me. Now i think i found a way to overcome that hindrance, Hover. If i can hover with SS my hovering speed will be close/faster than my running speed without Sprint.
Now questions i have in mind.
1- I am very spoiled with AM/Hasten combo of Psy, who has them nearly perma. Is Siphon Speed alone enough to close that recharge speed gap for my higher level powers or will i need Hasten as well?
2- Is it possible to bind number pad keys; 1 to 8 for each team member to apply speed boost to them? As i am not very keen on binding what kind of bind command should i enter. What i need is binding numpad1 for team member 1, a warning comment and applying of SB.
3- I didn't get two powers into build from Kin, Repel and Inertial Reduction. I read on many build guides Repel is kinda useless power and from my personal experience i think IR also useless but as nearly all my heroes use fly i don't know about other travel power users. I have two empty power slots in build already; which i filled with Recall Friend and Stealth so i can get them if they have some uses i am not aware.

Yeah they could to that. If they only put it for controllers than you can see upcoming moaning from the player base.
Actually Whips = Dominators is very fitting idea. Hmmm also Proeatan counterpart of Miss Liberty is using a whip, Ms is a scrapper but have no idea about other one. -

Yeah i am agree with your point but players mostly expect Whips to be a attack set, as whip has fairly short range it can't make a blaster set. Low range scrapper set seems more in tune with idea of attack set as it is originally a melee weapon.
If we think about mediatic whip-lashers, they all use their whips to attack (Whiplash, Catwoman and Indiana Jones). Even this has nothing to do with reality of the weapon, in a comic related game people expect that.
I hope i made my point about it a bit clearer. -
That depends on your current open arcs, contacts etc. If you have open yellow or red arcs you need to complete it all(or can leave one open either red or yellow) to get arc from Crimson.
Arc missions are not that hard (only encountered one defeat all so far if my memory serves) others were either ghostable for Psy-knight or was fairly short missions. As Stryke planning to all mish holders drop their missions, you need to keep your drop mission chance for that event.
To my knowledge ambush spawns wander in the zone if you leave the zone or log out. Not sure for how long tho'. -
I don't bother to turn it off. With that cencors some talks give way to a guessing mini game.

So far this is the only way Controllers can get something adeptable to Natural origin, IMO. Unless they put in Politics which is all natural and more effective over people.

If they implant Whips i doubt it will be a controller set tho. Even controllers are dying for a new set, Whips sounds more like a end light, fast, low damage and ranged scrapper set.
For a natural controller set i guess it will be some sort of extended version of Devices blaster secondary. -
This is really interesting then. I will check it with another new one tonight.
I am really sure about having rest on my latest two (rolled one at Saturday around midnight GMT and other one last night around ummm 8:00 pm GMT) because that Rest button appears next to my attack chain and i keep pressing it. -
No problem on my side so far. Rolled two new alts during double xp and they got rest after i finished Outbreak mission and talked with Miss Liberty.
Maybe it is something related to not taking tutorial/villian side but appearently a bug. -
As Double XP weekend passed away i can focus on this project once more. I did couple of missions from the arc and really close to achievement.
