Naming characters

Is there any way of putting french accents (ê in this case) in a characters name?

IIRC no accents are available on character or SG names. This annoyed me to no end when I tried making some character with umlaut in his name.

*slightly* offtopic.. that reminds me of when a soon-to-be closed game refused to install during beta when you had Turkish set as your windows language. Its amazing what various bugs crop up when different character sets are used.

I think the reason might be because using accents could be a way of getting around the profanity filter.

The profanity filter should be a test, anyone who can't get round it is too stupid to be allowed to play.

Actually that bug was resolved in the space of about a week. And being honest, who *would* have thought that a different windows language would have caused an issue; especially when other non-english languages reported no issues.

Still a shame that they are closing the game down though
