The defense soft cap (45%) is the point where enemies without any +tohit/+accuracy will have only a 5% chance to hit you, which is the minimum possible. Basically, anything beyond 45% is considered mostly only useful as insurance against -defense or +tohit.

NCSoft was/is hiring somebody to work on CoH and one of the things they're supposed to do is artwork related to animals (to horribly paraphrase 'cause my memory is sucking)
So it sounds like they might be planning on doing that. -

Although on the bright side, due to this thread I learned that I didn't have to cancel billing before you could take advantage of this promotion (I never saw the banner due to it being blocked as an ad)

It's supposed to happen when an account expires.
If you're really lucky, support might reinstate them for you, but you really shouldn't hold your breath about it. It's a very long shot. -

I'd prefer if there was a second search window listing teams, and add an option to the regular search window to filter (NOT highlight) people already on a team.

Okay, lets try and rule out some variables:
What web browser(s) are you using?
What extensions/plugins do you have installed?
Are you using any sort of adblock like functionality (i.e. AdBlock for Firefox, Block Content in Opera, ad-filtering proxy like Privoxy, etc)? -
If you're using a different computer/login/web browser, make sure your adblock program is disabled or it might filter the banner (I had to disable Opera's Content Blocker temporarily for it to show up... the url https://secure.ncsoft.com/images/pro...banner_600.jpg would probably be hit by quite a few filterset g filters).
Edit: If the following image appears for you, it's probably not an adblock issue... if it doesn't, then it probably is:

Time card is just another option to activate your account (and you still get any free month upon activation). -

It is not the same the install program stated that GvE uses some of the same files as CoH/Cov.

This is for a second account on the same computer my brother has an account. I tried installing the game over COH/COV that is already there.
