Okay, I got some updated screens (albeit quick ones).
Kheprera's costumes
Completely safe for work!
*BONK!s* TA
Also, since he and his lady have been so supportive of the art forums, may I suggest Grae Knight and Lady Grae? -
I am WAY too tired to work on this tonight, but will try and get something up this weekend of Khep. Her costume hasn't really changed much, though. Maybe I can work something.
Me to go sleep now. -
That, Alex, is awesome work. I really need to commission you, again.
-
Well, I guess if the pen is mightier than the sword, then the pencil is mightier than the pen!
ALL HAIL THE POWER OF THE PENCIL! -
I missed you, Foo, and your Fooish ways!
Nice work you've been doing. -
Note: Most of my deviations aren't my characters. I haven't counted those, just the total that I have...
and the count has changed because I'm constantly adding. -
80 Deviations that are mine (and more being added daily since I got my new scanner).
1 freebie by imagesbyalex for me
1 pen and ink by my grandfather (long deceased) of Tom Sawyer (I think). It could be Huck Finn. It's the only drawing I have that he did, and he was an artist.
15 Scraps that probably need updating.
108 Favorites where you find other commission pieces and fan art done for me. I prefer to have the views/comments left for the original artist, although I could just turn off the comments and direct people to make their comments on the artists page... -
Rather than using dA, you could always make your own site where you can post whatever you want. Often the cost of your own domain is less than at dA, without the pesky rules and arbitrary rulings.

Hoppy Birdie Two Ewes!
Have a great one, TL -
Well, since none of my commissions are actually in my gallery, I'm going to have to link to the artists gallery. I'd rather the artist get the views and comments on the pieces they do for me, since it's really their work.
I cannot choose a favorite, so here's what I've got:
Most Viewed: Lady Omen and Lance by imagesbyalex
Most Faved and Anticipated (non-COX art) : The Inclusion by graver13
Biggest Surprise: Happy Birthday Kheprera by imagesbyalex
Favorite Pose: Lady Omen by imagesbyalex
Most Honored Collaboration: Ignia Elemenia by graver13 -
Moved Kheprera from Freedom to Liberty, restarted Lady Omen from scratch on there as well. If I'm not on Liberty as Lady Omen, Kheprera, or Maaseruat, then I'm on as one of them on Virtue.
I mostly log on as Omen these days. Khep seems eternally stuck where she is. -
Great job on those, Alex. If I had the funds I'd commish some more from you. Unfortunately that's looking like it's going to be well into next year.
-
Poser did something like this for a limited time with 5 when 6 was released, which is how my husband got it for super cheap.

I am not the king of speed. If anything I am the anti-fast artist.

I dare you to beat me! I've got a piece, still unfinished, that has been lingering in my queue for what... almost two years now (not quite, just checked and it will be 2 years on March 27)... Shoot, I've had a baby since then and he's almost 1!
Luckily I don't charge because of my slowness.
I'd submit screenies, but you've got more than enough to overwhelm you as it is. As someone who is slow and has a ton of other things on their plate, I know how that can just rip all the steam out of your engine. I look forward to seeing any finished pieces. -
They've just filed for Chapter 11, so I'm not overly concerned. I do get great customer service there, but their warranty repair (third party) needs a kick where the sun doesn't shine.
Btw - their in-house repair techs are awesome and are angrier than I am now and are trying to get answers as to why this was done. -
I made my happy noises at dA, but I want to say THANK YOU again. You've turned a seriously bad week into a great one.

I need a new scanner as well. I'd love an 11"x17", but there is no way I can currently afford one. Maybe with the tax refund. We'll see how the economy is and how much we need to pay on bills to pay everything down.
My current scanner doesn't even have the WinXP drivers. In order to get them I have to pay more money than the scanner is currently worth (being about seven or eight years old) to get them, which is ludicrous.
That is ONE thing to check when looking at scanners. Look over the company website, see where they have the drivers for upgrades to OSs, and see if they charge for it or not. -
Well, I got the Game of Life - Indiana Jones edition and then got to spend time with my hubby and 4 year old playing it.
Spent the day with the hubby as we both requested the day off.
Did a little Christmas/Birthday shopping for the baby (who will be 1 year old next month - he's already walking!)
AND I sent in my final payment for a Graver commission which you will all get to see soon on dA.
The day has been pretty good.
