So, basically, Alpha, you're telling me not to waste my time moving my Scrapper from Vigilante to Villain, and not to bother showing up in the D Friday.
OK. You got it.
I hope A) It's a win, and 2) You're able to come up with tactics that can be used in a mixed raid in the future.
Good luck. -
I'm gonna go ahead and run 5 tips on Sav today, and 5 more tomorrow, and hold her Moraility Mission until I see confirmation of a Villain CoP run.
That way, if it falls through, and/or we end up doing another Hero run, I'll be good. -
Oh, I learned the awesome of Spin+Fury during GR Closed Beta. Made a Claws/WP Brute, and went from 1-20 in about 2 days of playing time. It's bliss.
-
Well, I already have a 37 Claws/SR Scrapper. And a 13 Claws/Elec. And a 3 Claws/WP. Do I really need a 4th Claws? >.> <.<

Aye, I queued up a character about 5 hours ago, and then did other stuffs. Just checked, and the character is there.
Looking good... -

If I can, I try to actiave a power that roots me right before I click on a mission door. That way, the rooting doesn't really have any effect on me.
Of course, it doesn't work so well for attacks... >.> -
Yeah, the Tuesday slot was the one that was good for me. Good luck, and have fun!!

Quote:Yeah, I found that out last night. No matter what I did, it stayed in the mission list. And then I noticed something: Instead of being listed as a standard mission, it was listed under a header of the SG name, just like when you're on a team, and everyone on the team has a mission. It looks like the raid is assigned to the base itself, and not any particular player or team. I started one solo with my brute in my base, didn't even enter the raid, went blueside on my main who's still in the VG and it was showing as an active mission for him too. There isn't even an option to abandon the mission.
Ran myself 5 Tip missions, and then used the Raid TP to get SG Badge Credit. -
I'm starting to think I should remake either my Claws/WP or Claws/Elec as Claws/Fire.
But which one??
Quote:Fix'd that for you. There's no 'o' in Endurance.Claws/Fire is freaking great. I love to hop into a group rock out my claw attacks, then burn and then heal. A few groups later throw in consume to get end back. It is a very end heavy set, but thats what hero merits are for. I have slotted a miracle + recovery, and one set of 4 kinetic combat. Fire is pretty weak, so IO's make a big difference. I can slot some reactive armor when I hit 37 that will help as well.
My favorite brute so far. -
Quote:Sounds like Multidimentional... >.> <.<There were several ways listed earlier in this thread.
Look on the bright side. At least it's not an Exploration badge that is only obtainable by making specific choices to get a specific mission map, and then having to open a secret door to get to the badge. lol -
I ask because IMO, if you haven't run it, you're not really in a position to talk about things like banning nukes from it. YMMV.

Yup. There's something about the new Praetoria Lab maps that floors FPS. Before I got my card, I'd drop from a constant 20-ish FPS to 5 FPS after moving out of the entry area.
The same thing happened with the Longbow Base maps. I've found a lot of people, both during Beta, and on Live, have this issue. -
Quote:Having everyone quit their teams won't reset it?RIMC's base is now raid ready, so expect a call-to-arms Redside in the near future. I ran a couple quick experiments with my VGmates and an issue has popped up. There doesn't seem to be any way to reset the raid. There's no way to cancel or abandon it and even if one person starts it and never enters the raid the timer continues on. So if we want to reset on the storm aspect, we need to figure out how or even if it's possible.

That's... kinda the whole point of Exploration badges: To make you explore places.

Here's the thread you're looking for. Feel free to claim those rewards.

A card that can run Ultra Mode near max.
I just got a GeForce GTX 460, cranked everything to almost max, and no more lag on those maps, or the Longbow ones.
Prior to that, when I was in Praetoria, I ended up setting my Shader Quality setting to Lowest. It looked ugly, but there was no lag. *sigh* -
They might hate those, too...
