  1. Only three? It sure seemed like about 300... We spent what felt like 200 years fighting off foes, it finally looked like it was done, we started to go in, and BAM! More came. Happened about 5 or so times. I think we spent at least an hour fighting the ambushes.
  2. Just as I was ready to hit Submit Reply, I saw this:

Hehe! My main character is my crafter, so she's active quite a bit, earning Inf, playing the market, running TFs that I still need badges for, doing events, or even just handing out an old-fashioned *** whuppin' to whoever happens to be in the mission she grab'd.

I will admit, however, that with two accounts, and two servers of charcters, I've essentially given up on my plan to get all the Day Jobs on all my characters. I was logging in every 5 days to rotate, and everything was going great until I went on vacation. That screwed up the rotation schedule, and I said, "Meh. Screw it.".
  4. Yup. Martial Arts Booster is the one to go with. Ninja Run will get you there fast. You can climb buildings with it. And you look awesome.

Take a travel power whenever you want, or not at all. Do the Atlas Park Safeguard/Mayhem as soon as you can, and suppliment Ninja Run with the Raptor Pack. When it runs out, take 10k to Firebase Zulu/Grandville, and buy a new one.

Super Booster IV: Martial Arts is pure . Kinda makes me feel bad for the upcoming Mutation booster. I mean, how are you gonna top Ninja Run?
  5. You'd know if you have. The last mission is a nightmare. The ambushes NEVER END! >.<

I wanna find whoever had the idea for neverending ambushes, and whoever greenlit them, and slap them both with raw bacon. >:[

I did that TF once, and I haven't touched it since. I'd rather do a Positron.
  6. 8-9 Mil? I don't know if I even have 1 Mil...

And wrap your compy in bacon. Bacon cures!
  7. Sorry, but you can't start your own Official Happy Birthday thread.

    Anyway...

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EnnVee!

*gives EnnVee Birthday Bacon and Birthday (Beef)Cake!*
  8. Only 7 more bars to go. Should only take another 6-8 months, with the way I die... >.>
  9. Congratulations, Bubba!
  10. Nice! Good luck to you both!

I'd plot to kidnap you for a base build, Oath, but my base is small, and doesn't have much Pres, since the SG is just me.

Considering that I can only play one character at a time (my compy doesn't support dual-clienting very well), that's not really an issue for me.

Most of it was created piece by piece, and eventually turned into what it is now. As a matter of fact, I spent about 3 hours this afternoon revamping it. That was quite a chore. @_@

  13. Hmm... At first, it sounds like it would just be an annoying extra step, but after thinking about it, I don't think I'd mind. After all, I'd rather pay $14 for account security (I have two accounts), than risk losing everything.
  14. Congratulations!

    Congratulations!

I'm glad I could be there!

What do you mean, "again"? I still play them. Day Job badges haven't hindered my playing in the least. Actually, they've been a great benefit. Now, I know EXACTLY where my characters are logged out.
  16. I use Badge-***** to track my badges. For everything else, I have an Excel spreadsheet. It tracks:

Common IO Recipies (by group): 10-25, 30-40, and 45-50. I note what levels I have memorized, what each one takes, and have it set up to tell me how much of each salvage I need based on the number and kind of IOs I want to craft. I enter the number, and it calculates the rest. It even tells me how much salvage I'll need to make all the IOs (letting me know if I need to have more than the 80 salvage I can currently hold), and after I enter how much I currently have on-hand, it tells me how many more to get.

Recipe Buy-Sell Prices: This just breaks Uncommon and Rare Recipies down by Level, and lists their Sell Multiplier, their NPC Resell value, and what the 5% fee for the Market is to list it at that price. I use that to gauge A) If the current rate is worth placing it on the market, or bad enough to just NPC it, and B) What I should ask for it.

Character Builds - I have each character broken down, level by level, telling me what power to take, and what to slot in it. After I plan a build in Mids', I then manually put it in here. This also keeps track of how many of what enhancement I need for each power.

My Character Listing - This is my main tab. It has all my characters on Guardian for both of my accounts, listing their name, primary powerset, secondary powerset, AT, and level. I keep a running count of the number of Heroes and Villains I have, and how many of each AT each account has, as well as how many of each AT I have that I activly play. Then, it does it again for my characters on Pinnacle. After that, I have a list of my Heroes and a list of my Villains, sorted by Level, so that if I need someone of a certain level, it's really easy to figure out who to get. Next is a list of all my characters, and what SG they belong to. Finally, I have a list of all the Primary and Secondary powersets for Heroes, broken down by AT. I highlight the ones that I've used, and denote how many characters have use that powerset. I have a plain listing of the powersets I haven't used off to the side, so that I can see at a glance what powers I haven't used. Then, I do it again for Villain powersets.

Deleted & New Character Builds - I always keep the builds of characters I've deleted. I've remade them any number of times, and deleted them again. And new characters go there, before I'm sure I wanna make them. There have been times when I've made a new character build in Mids', and it looks great. Then, when I transcribe it to this tab, I see all kinds of interesting things I missed. Very helpful.

Day Job Tracker - I list my Heroes, and mark what Day Jobs they currently have, and what they're currently working on. Then, I do it again for my Villains.

My SSK Exemplaring Chart - See Sig for details... >.>

IO Sets Listing - This tells me what IO sets I need for characters that are (eventually) going to get them, and breaks them down by set, and what parts of each set I want. I color code the name to denote Uncommon or Rare, and then color code the individual piece names to denote the type of IO it is, e.g. Yellow for an Accuracy set, Red for a Damage set, etc.

Praetorian AV Tracker - For my Heroes. Lets me keep track of who has a defeat of what Praetorian for the accolade.

    I Excel!

We were originally a team of 4, but didn't have time to finish. We never all ended back online at the same time, so after a week or so, when 3 of the 4 of us were on, we finished it, spawned for 4. We died a lot.

This is a very very good suggestion. I'd just add one thing to it: Offline members of the TF are moved to the bottom of the Team window.
  18. Aw! I'll miss you!

Take care, and we'll see you when you get back.

  19. I guess I'm the only one who likes Day Jobs. But then, I'm always in the minority.

5 more on my Hero, 7 more on my Villain, and then I'll be a sad panda.
  20. Here's the thing, though: Prior to the Winter Event, I'd see him go to different locations. Since the Winter Event, that is the ONLY place he goes.

So... why are you leaving? If you said it somewhere, I either missed it, or (more likely) forgot it in my old age...

  23. Yes, Caemgen has it right... Ah-hahahahahahaaaa!

  24. Congratulations!

But don't fret. GR will probably bring a gazillion more Day Jobs with it! At least, it would if I was in charge of that part of GR...
  25. Start with playing only Heroes. Villains have a steeper learning curve. Since it was essentially an add-on to the game, it seems to assume you already have a good understanding of the game. I felt so lost when I first tried a Villain when I was new.

Oh, and don't fall into the, "I don't play Villains because I don't like being the bad guy." mindset trap. You don't go out and randomly kill people or kick every puppy you see. It's essentially the same game, but with slighty different flavor text.
