Blooming heck it's Prof!
When did you get back? -

and even tho some sets say they are +res to every EXCEPT psi, well, its gotta be bugged, becuase even with 3 acc +tactics 3 slotted with tohits, u can rarely hit stone brutes/tanks, can forget hitting a forcefield user... etc
[/ QUOTE ]
Think you might be confusing RES and DEF here. Sets low on resistance take more damage each hit than someone with high resistance. Someone with lower defense takes more hits than someone with high defense. Granite does give +def to all damage types I beleive and that's why you have more trouble hitting them. -

I really like pointless posts. Especially at the weekend.

Pointless is good. Makes it harder for the childish posters to poke their eye out. -
Sheesh, talk about a lot of pointless and childish posts in this thread. Get over yourselves guys.
good luck on the TF Raz. -
Or you could create a Regen killer and go kin/psi. Transfusion has a -regen component and in I7 Power build up from the epics coupled with transferance can drain a regen in 1-2 hits. 100% chance to drop all toggles is nice
.
Power actuvation times have been mentioned as a downside but imo it's only the 1st attack from the set that has a long animation (I never use it). Attacks suck as TK blast and Will domination are very fast. With stacked Siphon speed and hasten you can pretty much have an unbroken attack chain with just those 2 powers.

I think I'll have a darn good chance
I've been working on Far-Seer's build since i4 ended and think I'll finally be happy after the next respec, if I get one that is!!!
I'm sooo looking forward to PvPing fully, as at the moment I loose or draw knowing full well that I'd win with my new build.

I call dibs on the 1st 1v1 match after your respec. If that happens to be after I7's freespec then sadly you don't stand a chance -
[ QUOTE ]
Would have thought Kin/Elec would be better?
[/ QUOTE ]
Makes very little difference when PBU + Transferance drains most of an opponents endurance. -

I challenge you to a duel against my Corruptor! Far, meet you in WB. If anyone wants to see a sapper at work, come and watch
[/ QUOTE ]
With I7 and Power build up from the epics my kin defender will be the ultimate sapper -
Spines/regen can be a nightmare on open maps as soon as they realise they need to stay out of range so that I can't use transfusion to heal myself. Those that try to wade in close tend to drop eventually though, especially if they MoG (psi ftw!
)
-
You reckon you could take down almost anything eh? In that case I challenge you to a duel on my kin/psi defender. Be aware however that I've beaten every other */regen combo except for spines (damn ranged attacks
).
Whaddaya say? -

I assume this will be a team oriented build, so I'd consider dropping spectral wounds for blind and let the team do the damage while you do the controlling.
[/ QUOTE ]
You would drop illusions only way of doing containment damage? Seems silly to me. -
[ QUOTE ]
thx to amazing red, kara shadow, omega sinner, UN medic droid, xyber, sushi-san and natures mistake for helping out with the respec. only took us abit more than a hour
[/ QUOTE ]
*cough* That's Kaya Shadow
Was a great respec, probably one of the fastest I've done. Those Freakshow didn't stand a chance -
I would add a couple of range enhances to spectral terror, it's very effective
.

I know several people like myself who never get angry with stalkers, we make it our business to find ways to beat them.
I remember having a 1v1 match against a regen scrapper in warburg last week when I spotted a stalker about to AS the scrapper so I switched targets and gave them a TK blast to the face. The stalker stood there in confusion for a few seconds before scarpering and I could get back to my duel.
-
My dm/regen isn't in an SG atm so if theres room I'd like an invite to Team GBH
-
Assault has placate resistance? Interesting, I may have to get this on my dm/regen as I'm planning a stalker hunter build
.
-
I can bring my Mind/FF troller along. Should be well within level range by then
-
[ QUOTE ]
Errm then i guess frazzle fellow would say something like.. NevAAAA, trollaz and corrupippies FTWinzorz!!111eleventy11one!!
... Well something like that
[/ QUOTE ]
Tell that to the corruptors who kept trying to take down my kin/psi defender hovering over sirens villain base the other day. -
I agree that MM's definately need some love in PVP, especially when it comes to henchmen recharge times. Several times yesterday I was able to use EM pulse to hold all of the MM's pets which left plenty of time to take down the MM himself with relative ease.
I was also quite surprised at how much of a difference my Rad debuffs were making to Granite brutes. Once debuffed it was very easy for the rest of my team to take down the brute and coupled with lingering radiation they had no chance of escape (one brute even stopped using granite half way through the match. Probably didn't like LR too much).
Overall I think that once Villain teams become as experienced as Hero teams we'll see some better matches however I beleive that certain villain AT's definately need some love in pvp. Villains should not have to chose certain powersets to even give them a chance in pvp otherwise a lot of casual pvp'ers are going to be put off. -
I can come along with my DM/Regen if your short of people. Have a TF at 8pm but it shouldsn't take that long against the freaks
