Epics
This may be usefull
Within most hero planners they have exact details about recharge/effect/stats, great way to find out the exact specs of each epic power

Elec epic good. 1 hold, 1 armour (charged armour, probable the best armour in the epics) and EMP Pulse (disorient/end mod slotted -> nice to have as a mini-nuke).
I had that for a while, then respecced into Force Mastery and a pure blapp-build for my en/en. Decent armour (temp invul) and the freakishly good Force of Nature. Also the personal force field (nice to use to draw aggro and then nuke'em). Needless to say (anyone who has accompanied me on a paragon protector 7th gen mish can attest to it) I'm dealing out damage like a rabid pack of lemmings on meths.
Here is my build (or veeery close to it anyways):

I went for the force epics, initally was disappointed with my choice of repulsion field over personal force field due to huge end drain as it drains per each bad guy you're pushing away, but after getting 3 end reducers in there it's really handy as long as you watch your end in big groups.
I use it to block stairways and choke points to the other squishies behind me, usually not much gets past me, which is nice. Also it's very handy when things close in for melee as they can usually only get one hit before being sent flying backwards.
It also has saved a few team members when they've been mezzed and their toggles have dropped just by running over to them and protecting them from big hitting melee'ers.
i would suggest going elec cos im biased tbph tho, you are energy, u have no ranged control and elec or fire would give u this, or munitions i believe, but this isnt really a minmax/pvp choice
the hold and the armour are great, highly worth slotting, FoN from the energy pool is amazing as long as its up, but the charged armour of elec has a 1 second recharge which is great in pvp, the attack and the nuke i wouldnt worry too much about, but up to u. force is prolly nice if u are worried about dying (pff to save) and repulsion field if u dont wana go into melee.
fires ok, nice hold, self rez, but meh. ice i wouldnt bother with, just doesnt really do the damage thing and its shield is def based.
look me up for a looksee at leasrt how my epics work

/agree with the hubby
Munitions has some fantastic toys and gives you the BFG to play with, but also has the draw time issue. Body Armour also has weaker DamRes than others - but it's a passive, no-END power, so if you have an END-hog attack chain it's worth considering. The other great thing is it's a resistance that can't be detoggled in PVP or by high-level enemies like Maltesers.
Is it time for the dance of joy yet?

I am sure this has been covered, but can find little information about epic pools. Just turned level 40 on my eng/eng blaster and so start to think about epic powers. What do people recommend? What's good and what's bad? Was thinking maybe force because of the protection maybe
