Panzer Sister Nova, my one and only stalker, is now my fiddie #27!
-
I am soooo tired...
Probably was sapped by Sapper Nova, my new fiddie (troller Elec/Kin and #26).
=^_^= -
Well...
Thanks to Casa the Ebil Kay has a new Fiddie...
Peep
So now I'm at the fiddie #25! -
No!!! You wont!!!!
*glues E to the server*
o.O
*runs crying to the corner* -
This is... awesome...
Not only because it looks cool.
But because its an awesome show of respect that the "People that be" are showing to us, the players...
This is the best game.
With the best players.
With the best developers.
With the best cookies (well, at least the Guardian server!). -
Hmmm...
A GM once appeared to me incarnated as a mail box...
*tries to imagine the deep meaning of it* -
My very first name, and global, was Kay Nova.
Kay is one of my nicknames... there is another one, but that one is secret... =^_^=
Nova was an inspiration from the White-Wolf game Aberrant, where the supers are called Novas...
Then, when I was creating the second toon, an inspiration hit me... All my toons will be Novas, so I adopted the pattern: NAME Nova.
A few of then are very descriptive:
Life Nova - Empath defender
Mindfire Nova - Psi/Fire blaster
Peebles Nova - Stone Tanker
Some are a little more cryptic, and could mean lots of things:
Magical Nova - Grav/Rad troller
Psiforce Nova - Ninja/FF Mastermind
And a few are kind of weird:
Experiment 2-XS Nova - Dual Pistols/Devices Blaster
Nyam Nyam Neko Nova - Warshade
Spice Nova - Fire/Thermal Corr
There is only one non-Nova name: Kaitlyn JMM - mercenary/storm MM.
My current name project is my homage project, with names from friends on the Guardian Server (the choice of ATs and powersets are inspired on the originals too):
Countess Nova
Coonie Nova
Casa. Nova (the . is important here... the original Casa likes to use .'s on her names)
Nezz Nova
GG Nova -
My little Neko Star Nova, tanker Invulnerabilty/Kinect Melee, reached 50 while hitting a Nictus, inside a nameless cave on Cimerora.
It means she is my 50 #24! -
-
Hey... Devs...
Listem to this thread...
Keep Coyote around, not only on a O-Mission... -
Yep...
That means Corporate Nova is now a Fiddie!!! #23! -
I divided the trays into powertype zones, and when I finish the respect I start to populate then again...
Zones? What does it means?
Well, thinking on tray 1 (bottom). Its the offensive tray. My primary Attacks and direct attacks normally go here... STs on the beginning, then Cones, then AoEs. Up to power 8. Powers 9 and 10 are movement Slots. Why? Because I use a Razer Naga, and I access those powers using the mouse keyboard.
Toggles are Tray 3...
Assorted special commands (Mastermind Pets, Secondary Mutation, Mystical Fortune) are on Tray 4. If the toon isnt a Mastermind, I also fit here some Costume Code Changes...
Enhanced movement effects (Quick Spring, Jump pack, P-D vip card, Mission Transporter, Team Assemble, O-Portal) goes on Tray 5. -

*goes on stage*
Is it working?
*taps the microphone*
good...
*starts singing*
Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face
Do You Realize - we're floating in space -
Do You Realize - that happiness makes you cry
Do You Realize - that everyone you know someday will die
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun don'-go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Do You Realize - Oh - Oh - Oh
Do You Realize - that everyone you know
Someday will die
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun don'-go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face
*bows... and leaves the stage* -
What I noted is:
To get shards you must defeat white+ enemies. Thats why you may get a shard inside a lower level TF.
To get threads, it must be inside the iTrials. That means you cant solo your way into the slots other than Alpha (unless you have no live left and do missions to get shards to do threads conversions).
And Cardiac is a godsend for those that have heavy-endurance costs... -
Just remember that Empaths are much more than a healer...
You are a prime-buffer, and can enhance a lot your teams...
And I am @Kay Nova / @Evil Kay Nova...
Send a global friend invitation to the Evil Kay... she still has spaces for global friends... (the regular Kay is full) -
Try to join one of the global channels...
We mostly arrange teams by then...
Try:
Guardian
Task Force Whores
Looking For Team
Guardians TF
Guardians Team -
Quote:Wow!!! The famous Arcanaville answering my question!!! I feel so honored! (and yes, i am saying it trully, with an open heart and only with admiration on my mind!)I can't really properly address all the limitations of the regional stores (because I don't have the problem) nor can I specifically state how points will specifically be purchased (because I don't actually know the specifics), but I can say that the intent of the Freedom in-game store is that you will somehow buy points, and only points, with your money. Once you have points, you spend points in the in-game store and I believe the *intent* is for *everyone* to see the exact same store because its internal to the game itself (that's a colloquial statement, not a technical one).
Given that, I believe the problems with regional stores selling only a limited number of things goes away in Freedom: the only thing your regional store has to sell, assuming you are even using the regional store when Freedom launches, is points. Once you have points, your points are no different than my points and should be able to buy the same things without restriction. I can say I know the devs are aware of this issue and have every intent to address it with the new systems in Freedom.
Most of I have seen from Freedom got me really happy. Up until now, the ingame store works fine for me, without the regional block. Its the NCSOFT store that is blocked. If the gamestore works on that principle... well... I see a happy future for me and sadness for my credit card and shoes and watches collection. And I know that many brazillians will love it too.
But... and about my second question? *blinks blinks* -
Quote:Nope... they normally arent random on this. They choose based on how the person in question acted on previous closed betas, on how that person act on the game and community, if he is helpfull or not. Last thing they want is someone with a disrupting demeanor, who actually dont help on the closed beta. Are people still getting invited to this? On Ustream, I thought they tested this with another group earlier. So how does one qualify to get into the pool to be selected? Is it random?
Thats why they do it on waves. First wave is generally internal. Then they open up a bit. On every wave they lessen the restrictions and get more people, normally testing different aspects on every phase. Then, when its almost ready for launching, they give some candy and turn the closed into an Open Beta, letting everyone go inside. By then almost everything is set. -
Quote:FYI, I just grabbed the names "Timechaser" & "Time Chaser" for my i21 time manip alt. First name I tried, and it was available, so good names are out there; you just have to find them.
Once I decide which one I like better, I will release the other
Thanks for reminding me of saving some names... I just got Time Nova.
