In light of COH's impending doom(I say that with love), I've decided to post a few pictures of my favorite Toons. I've been absent for about 2 months and this news came as a shock to me. I've loved every second of this game...even in the lull it sometimes got, it was always a nice home to come back to, knowing your friends were there as well. Some amazing people on this game, and especially on this server. I've made lots of friends, and some very special close friends that I will cherish forever the memories, laughs, heartaches, and *** kicking we've been through together.

So there are 4 of my 27+ toons 20 of which were lvl 50+. I shall miss this game. I shall miss the company of my fellow heroes and villains. Thank you all for the wonderful memories. Fight on Liberty!!

Ok, So I know you had a theme going with using fly...but personally I can't stand a tank that has fly on it. So I made a build without it lol.

-This build should be useful. Capped S,L,E,N,F,C defenses and will cap psi once u pop one purp insp.

-The S&L resistance is 70.2% and once u pop SOW ul be capped in that.

-build gives u alot more +rech than the other build had. (which ul want with concentrated strike)

-The hitpoints are at 3300+

-The regen is at 1002% with RTTC on. which should give u 130's regen, more than that in bigger mobs.

Recovery is at 279% giving u 5.27 a sec. Thats with Agility core alpha (assuming u are VIP) If u take agility off, then it will be at 4.7/s. and Def will still be capped.

Edit: you can still take fly if u want to. but u will lose alot of the recharge. Although if u take out hasten and superspeed, u can replace it with fly and hover(giving you even more def. which u will want if doing iTrials. otherwise straight up def is good enough)

Well I hardly think the the Mag trial is the hardest one out there. IMO it's one of the quickest lol.

As far as lvl shifts...

I have and will most likely again bring a +1 or even the daunting +0 to a BAF or LAM. If we can't succeed a BAF or LAM with a couple +0 or +1's on the team on those iTrials...them we just suck and should quit playing the game.

As far as the others, I've never brought anything less than a +2 to a UGT,TPN, Mag, MoM. So in those cases I guess it depends on the make up of the team, the league leaders decision on what they want to do in that situation.

Im not saying that a +1 or +0 should be excepted at every turn, or on every trial, not by a long shot.

Again, In my mind it's up to the league leader. If u don't like the way he/she is running it, don't join it. Form your own, or find somebody else that will do it the way u are wanting. If a league is going for a particular objective, then they should plan accordingly with the people and lvl shifted toons they know can accomplish that goal, and fill in with the rest.
Otherwise, iTrials should be a fun experience and something to look forward to doing with your fellow server peeps. If it becomes a chore (everytime) then well...it becomes a chore. For the leader AND everyone else on the league.

No way this is going to be as big as the Avengers. Don't get me wrong i've always liked the JL. But with the mediocre Superman Returns, and the total flop of Green Lantern the future to the DC movie universe looks very grim.
One thing that Marvel did right was the way they produced their movies (with the exception of the unFantastic four). They made a movie, that happened to have a super hero in it. The movie quality was worth while, even if it didn't have that hero at the center of it.

Bale has said he won't play batman again after this movie. The actor portraying superman changes like the seasons in a year, and lets face it ryan reynolds is just a dope. They would need to recast the entire ensemble of the JL to make it worth while in my opinion.

Get it right DC! And catch up to Marvel!! With movies AND quality!!

Well in lieu of yesterdays i23 launch there was a mad dash to run the Mag trial, and many of us T4'd at least one toon.

So my question is which hybrid did u slot on your main toon?

I slotted T4 Melee on my main scrapper for obvious reasons, but will of course craft the others later this weekend.

I think the biggest issue is that Liberty just doesn't have that big of a population anymore. When Exalted happened, 1/4 went to check that out. On top of that, many people play on multiple servers. I think the people that are still on Liberty(at least those few that we all like to team, do stuff with) during the day, tend to do their own thing. Whether its getting a toon to 50, farming for purps/inf, or just doing random missions. I guess it's become a pattern now that Liberty as a server wakes up about 4pmish on. Half the people I team with now play on bigger servers to get there toons where they want them. Whether for Accolades, or iTrials. Which in a way makes sense since you can T4 everything in a few days. BUT, then again, it's become a catch 22. People go abroad to get what they need, even if Liberty is still called home, and since they go abroad Liberty seems more barren. At the same time, people are weary of moving some toons back to Liberty for the fact that its now, barren. So I don't know. Maybe what T&A said about inviting more nubs to the LB channel would liven things up abit, then again it could just become a hassle.

As far as the question OP posted...I tend to go all out on a toon when i'm working on it. Get it to 50, get what i need on it cuz i like POWER on a toon lol. That being said, I have a hard time swapping to a toon that at that point in time I don't care to play while my mind is set on completing the task at hand. In that instance was doing a respec on a toon. BUT, then again, on freedumb/Champion/Virtue type servers, there are more people so when you call out for a TF or Trial because of the population size it's much easier to form something up very quickly.
Liberty seems to be more of a mature player server(as in age(in RL and in gaming terms)...not necessarily attitude), and in being such most of us are pretty well to do in game terms and don't really need community events like the freedumb, exalted and the like. Community events as in contests, sg activities etc. Because realistically a 50mil first prize for a costume contest just doesn't do much for us. We are essentially the "Lone Wolf Server" with the exception of things we need team mates for aka: TF's, iTrials, MSR's and Raids. But outside of that it really isn't a community driven server. Although the majority of us would bend over backward to help another out.

So I guess there will always be the good, the bad, and the ugly. How to fix it I have no idea, except that it would have to be a community wide change, just not 5 or 6 people doing stuff. The big question is...would we even want Liberty to become a Freedumb type server?
