MSRS by @noyjitat fridays at 9:30pm est. When fridays are not possible I may move it to saturday when possible. Quit some of the inactive global channels you are likely in and ./chan_join vanguard operations I'll keep raid times posted there and I usually remember to keep it updated more often than this thread. As always if you show up more than 5 mins late you will not be invited. I do this not because I'm a meenie... But because we want you to be there on time with everyone else. To help with the pylons, not just to show up and get vg merits, bombs and boss badge kills. But to help with all of the first 3 parts of the raid. Pylons, bombs and giant monster

I will be attempting to lead msrs once again on Fridays now at 9:30 pm est, forming at 9. When it is not possible for me to be there I will attempt a saturday night raid at 9:30 pm est as well.

For raids hosted by me and me only (others are free to do as they please) I will be requiring all those interested in raiding to show up on time or very close to the start time of the raid. It's quite simple really. If you want to raid you show up on time or don't show up at all. Anyone and everyone should be there to help with the pylons. It's not fair to everyone else that is on time for you to just show up during middle of the raid just for the xp, and vg merits and badges.

So please if you are interested in raiding, show up on time and not excessively tardy. I will not be inviting people that show up when nearly half of the pylons are down.

I don't want to waste peoples time, but raid start times may be delayed a few mins if we are lacking a minimum of 24 players. I intend to run quick, fun and enjoyable raids. While you can easily do shipraids with the minimum of 3 players to spawn the gm and kill him. It tends to go much faster with 3 teams of 8 so you have a good balance of buffs, heals, debuffs and dps. And lets face it, most of the time each team has some lowbies and the occasional incarnate. If the 24 players don't show up after the start time has been extended then we'll delay the raid until a later time that night or the next day when possible.

Come ready to have fun, benefit from the rewards and maybe even make some friends in the process.

As of now we no longer have a leader on fridays/sundays. I MAY be able to start leading again on sundays I am planning to do so this sunday at 9:30pm est. As of now Friday and Sunday raids are canceled. I didn't miss a single friday or sunday for over a year but lately @ukase has been leading them due to my schedule changes with work and other games. (I am also raiding in swtor) Thank you again man. For now I plan to try and lead on sunday but that may change and may not happen at all. But you should see me on saturday.

Hello folks,

Many of you have probably joined me on several mothership raids over the past year or so and I wanted to just simply start a clean thread for the msrs that I host. My schedule has been moving around alot so over the past few months I've had to change starting and formation times. So I will post upcoming raid times and raid dates hosted by me. LB/LFA mods feel free to point people to the vanguard operations channel in your MoTD; Rather than constantly change your dates and times there for it. It will also keep your motd smaller.

As I explained to a few of you already, I will no longer be recruiting for msrs in lb and lfa. People have sent me complaints about msr recruitment ruining trials and other events so my recruitment spam will be in rikti warzone broadcast channel and the vanguard operations channel. /chan_join vanguard operations. Spread that channel around to all, its public and currently does not silence on join. Keep all non rikti/vanguard/msr recruitment out of the channel but feel free to discuss anything. The 3 rwz taskforces are appropriate.

New saturday night msrs led by me at 9:30pm est with a formation time at 9:00pm est.

@ukase will now be leading shipraids on fridays and sunday at 9:00pm for as long as he wishes to do so. I will not be available to lead raids fridays and sundays for quite sometime. Im trying to raid in 2 different games including city of heroes and work at the same time; it is becoming a bit stressful and difficult to say the least.

I'll return to fridays and or sundays at a later time I expect.

Well, I thought some were going to break the server when some of the pacific coast folks got the news. (about your time change)

Although I don't lead them with near your finesse, Noyjitat, it seemed like the right thing for me to do was to continue to lead Sunday nights raid at your old scheduled time.

Should your schedule change -- and you want the time slot back, you have but to ask and it's yours.

If that becomes too troublesome for you, speak with velkoth. I haven't been able to catch him ingame to inform him of my situation but he also has been known to lead these when I'm not around.

I love the MSRs, Noy, but am not getting up at 10:30am on Sunday for them. I sympathize with your schedule trouble though, and respect the determination to continue running them at some regular time, even if it's awkward for those of us on the left coast.

Kudos to Ukase for picking up the Sunday afternoon/evening MSR. It's not a proper Sunday without a half-dozen Rikti Magi to confront.

Sorry I hate time differences. When I am able to free up my old time again on sundays I'll pick that part up again. But really its just me that you wont be seeing on sundays. I am but one voice at the shipraid and you folks are the army. Thanks again to ukase.

I always anticipated more use of the vanguard in the future but not so soon. The rikti themselves have been silent for far too long. The life of a rikti engineer must be very frustrating indeed.

Just a heads up. Sometime in the next 2 - 3 weeks I'll be working on a sunday. I do not know what sunday that will be, But I will definitely be working on both saturday and sunday. I typically don't work either of these days but a local restaurant needs a patio built and only wants it built on the days they are closed. The pay is higher as a result so I can't pass that up

I will post here and add it to the MoTD in vanguard operations channel. You'll still be able to attend the 9pm sunday raid however.

Their is a strong possibility that I won't be able to make tommorows raid at 9:30pm. should that happen I will host a raid on saturday at 9:30pm instead of hosting fridays. Perhaps @ukase will fill in for me on friday if he has the time.

As mentioned in my previous post I will be working on a sunday later in the month. According to my boss that MAY be on the 19th. If and when that occurs I wont be here for the afternoon raid but you'll still have @ukase for the 9pm sunday raid.

Ok so I definitely won't be able to host tonights raid at 9:30. I will be attempting to host one on Saturday at 9:00pm est. Whether someone else leads tonights raid or not. I will be flipping around my schedule to do so, so I won't be hosting one on sunday afternoon. And as mentioned I won't be hosting one next sunday afternoon either due to work.

I'll see you saturday at 9pm and I'll see if @ukase will lead tonights raid.

I personally want to thank Noy and Rex and Matt and many others who at different times continued the Sunday night raids which Liberty had established.

I stopped posting that I would run them because quite frankly it's not about me it's about Liberty having community events. Anytime a Player wantes to try and lead we have always offered and will continue to support them in doing so. I can name the leaders we have assisted and fostered, but this is about Liberty events. That said the more Players who practice leadership skills here the better the entire community is here and elsewhere.

Lets allow others to consider leading just because you don't see it posted here or elsewhere doesn't mean it doesn't happen. This past Sunday the MSR was lead by a different person then Rex at a later time I was already engaged in something else with the SG but was in the RWZ and all the pylons were down and they were in the bowl. It made me smile knowing that it was formed up and ran even though I wasn't involved. Thats what community events are about.

Okay sorry about my rant, I look foward to supporting All (Sunday) MSR's. If I am running them (Sundays) I will post that in the original location and see if I can get mods to post the information in there MotD. I enjoy see old raider and meeting new ones I also very much enjoy helping them become leaders. Leadership builds a better and stronger community.

That same person that lead that msr was also the same person putting together incarnate trials during the msr formation which in turn ruined his raid and is why he canceled all his future raids. People are free to do as they please, I don't pay your sub, his or her sub, but I'm certainly not going to support players that grief peoples events. Scheduled events are setup by people that set aside the time to run the event. It angers me especially since most of the time thats my only real time to play city of heroes.

I am seeking out leaders for friday and sunday so the people that want to raid are hopefully guaranteed to have someone there to put one together. I always tried my hardest to be there and now saturdays are the only day. It looks like I'm probably not going to be able to lead this sundays raid.

So come on folks, if a scheduled event such as a CoP, MSR or hamiraid is current recruiting please have the patience and wait until they are finished recruting and have started. All you do is ruin something and waste peoples time.

I agree with your points, if someone new wants to lead, then by all means. For now I'll try to be there when I can so atleast one raid is being run.

I think someone who forms iTrials (or anything else)conflicting with a scheduled event is not necessarily a griefer - that term is a little too loose for my tastes, although that action did cause me grief. On that evening, because of the lack of attendance, the start time for the next scheduled event (MoUGT) was tough to pin down. There was never a set time for the MoUGT, it was always after the raid. In this specific context, I knew I couldn't do a trial - because I was supposed to lead the raid. When I saw insufficient numbers for the MSR, I had to find something else to do. As the raid typically lasts 40 minutes once it starts, I popped into pocket D 40 minutes later to join it, only to read/hear that an MSR had formed - presumably after the MoDD trials.

So, once again, the players had choices and they chose non-scheduled events both times. That's fine. That frees my time up tremendously. So, I see no point in my scheduling events in the future. I've no way of knowing when the new "shiny" that is issue 22 will fade away. For me, it was 2 days after it hit live.

To sum up - and simplify - I'm not leading because obviously people want to do other things than the scheduled events.

I am pleased that the players have choices. I made as many excuses/reasons in my head about why folks would form PUGs 10 minutes prior to the msr scheduled to form. As I stated earlier - not everyone likes to do MSRs. And if they don't, I certainly don't have the right to tell them they can't form up an iTrial.

I think the server just had a little hiccup in the routine. I just don't know how long it will last. I just know I'm not going to try and form an event and waste the time of everyone who joins the league only to cancel it because of insufficient support.

I'm glad you took over as long as you did. I didn't want to let people down by suddenly not being there to setup raids. I especially wanted to be there some to atleast get some time in coh. Here's to the future.

Sorry about last night. I visited some family and ended up going fishing with them and leaving my car elsewhere. So I was unable to get home until a decent hour. It was an unexpected surprise.
