I don't think there would be a victor anyway. I tried a fight against Fanservice and us both being WP we wailed on each other for two minutes without budging our HP bars. In the end we had to agree on doing it with only our mez toggle.
-
Unfortunatly it says video error at the end, and has no clear victor o_o Maybe add the 'judge's' decision?
-
I say go for it o_o
I've seen some really good designs over the months I've been here, shame they just go with when the chars are forgotten or deleted. -
"Of courrrrse, I'll see what I can do. Arrre you surrre...? Yerrr, verrry well." A very short white furred feline held a phone pinned between her shoulder and her ear as to leave her hands free to shuffle the papers she had on the table. Clad only in loose black pants, she was standing with her torso and head bared, black chest armor and a black hankerchief discarded upon said table.
Continuing her conversation in lowered tones, Leandrea shifted the phone to a hand, leaving the table, and padded barefooted upon the wooden floor to the entrance of the bedroom. Keeping her side of the talk to non commital noises, she leant in to peek at the small form feverishly tossing in the darkness. Twilighter was still dealing with her demons and the changes her body was going through.
'Death would be a victory,' the ten year old had said with such fatalism that Leandrea's stomach had turned to a icy ball. She had seen those eyes and had heard those words from the slaves of Shangri-La. But this was not Shang, these were not the same times, no one should say those words and mean them. Certainly not a kitten.
Her mind was drifting and with a start she realised she was no longer paying attention to the phone call. "Listen, I have all the inforrrrmation, I'll call you in an hourrrr, yerrr?" The tiny voice from the phone rose in pitch but she was adamant, "I swearr I'll call you."
The cell phone was flipped close and put into one of the small pouches around her belt, all of it done in a absent minded manner while the small cat looked at the form in the bed. She came closer into the darkness and pulled the blankets to tuck the child in, a reassuring noise offered when even her bare footed approach caused the child's eyelids to flutter open.
Time was ticking but she remained seated at the edge of the bed while looking at the gradually calmer sleeper. Only later, assured that the slumber was deep, did Lea raise and walk back to the kitchen, the table covered in papers that she had unpinned from the corkboard.
A list was being written down with a formula that would be complex if she ever sat down and actually wrote it down. Time needed + profit + expenses + new costumer/repeat costumer + influence of costumer + publicity of the job + discretion + more/less shady + location. Different coloured circles were drawn around each with arrows pointing at jobs that could connect before they were written onto the sheet.
Her days started early and ended late, depending on her schedule. Despite the time she religiously took out to visit the statue in order to network and meet new heroes, her days in the last month had become 15 hour shifts. Food had become a luxury, With her metabolism she could keep going for days without the need to ingest solids, but her stomach was all too human and once empty it would rumble and she'd have severe hunger pangs nevertheless, thus she kept several bars of concentrated food just to trick her body.
The first meal she had cooked for Twi had left the child so wide eyed, eating with such relish after living on whatever she could scrounge on her own that, on the spot, Lea promised herself to be home in time to prepare the meals everyday. That promise had been tarnished more and more lately. Not that the child seemed to mind, she appeared able to subsist solely on cold milk and cereals, and like all children in whatever world she had been, a greasy hamburger with fries from a fast food stand were the epitome of a great meal.
Lea precariously reclined herself until the chair was standing only on its hind legs while she looked at the sheet in her hand, the pen tapping her chin thoughtfuly. The day started at 7 and continued down with a number of contracts squeezed in. She had managed to fit in seven for tomorrow (a glance at the clock made her correct it for 'today') but the number of papers on her table were all possible contracts that she was spurning much to her chagrin. Not to mention it would take some luck to actually be on time to prepare dinner.
A business like hers that depended on word of mouth simply could not keep on refusing costumers even if the profit was lower or the job was dull. Without even getting started on the sob stories that kept on coming. Take the man who needed a bodyguard while he was performing a exorcism on red caps. She had dithered and pushed it back as she was already swamped. In the end, when he had called again, it was Twilighter who had picked the phone and who decided to take the job in the stead of Lea. A pleasant surprise for the cat who found herself with a fat envelope filled with unmarked bank notes for having done no work at all, but an unpleasant surprise to have discovered that the child, in mid process of a lengthy regeneration which hindered her abilities, had done it on her own with broken ribs as a result.
'It's high time to start thinking about hiring.' -
Lea puffed and huffed as she made her way in a dark stairway, the only light the faint pink glow that she was radiating to guide her steps.
She made an annoyed noise when the corner of her burden scrapped against a wall, something that caused her to sway as she fought to regain her balance. 'Thrice damned thing, I should've asked Kumi for help..'
A few hours back.
Building a place to live in Dark Astoria had it's downsides and this not even mentioning the undead that crawled over every inch of the streets. One of them was that no one home delivered. The closest was Talos and she had been walking from that city with a fridge almost two and a half times her size on her back.
Too heavy to fly with, at least she was capable of lifting it with the ground as leverage. Strength was a relative term when not having something to stand upon. 'Trick is, no finger digged holes.'
Traveling over dark and moody Dark Astoria had not been a problem since she was already well known. A familiar figure and probably one of the few who actually lived in it, Lea treated the undead as a cockroach infestation. Just like cockroaches, Lea's attempt to clear it without recurse to a nuclear bomb didn't actually do much except meaning long baths to clean rotted flesh bits and ichor from her pelt.
"I won't lie to you," said a Death Shaman to a fellow Storm Shaman,"Every single man or woman who has stood their ground, everyone who has fought her has died. But where they have failed, you will succeed."
The Storm Shaman didn't sound particulary reassured by this train of reasoning, "...Why?"
The older shaman looked annoyed at this, "Look, it's the prophecy. Do you want to argue with prophecies?" They both stared at the small white figure as it trudged over the streets with its huge burden on the back. Nudged and reluctant, the younger shaman called his zombies and charged... to only belatedly notice he was charging on his own and the older one was discretly making himself smaller behind a ruined car.
One short and inconsequential fight later the small cat was covered in bits and odds of undead and her fur standing from the lightning that had been summoned.
Still carrying the fridge, Lea poked the groaning man on the ribs with her boot, "When you see a girrrl having trrrouble you offerrr yourrr help, you don't trrry to kill herrr. Frrrankly, I doubt you'll everrr get a date like this."
Present
Fortunatly she had experience in this kind of thing, the fridge had been well padded with cardboxes so despite looking a bit frazzled with scorch marks, claw marks and the corners scratched by bumping into the walls the fridge itself was immaculate.
The small feline dragged it carefuly into place and sighed happily. It was starting to look like a real kitchen.
She could've done without the green coloured oven, true, and instaling the fan on top of it had been a female canine, but the end result was good.
A corner to relax and entertain her friends, a shower in a huge tub which doubled as a jacuzzi with the towel cabinet close to it and the bathroom propper beyond it.
Then the bedroom, which truth be told was where she spent the least of her time.
A very satisfied Lea stood to the tip of her four feet of height and puffed her chest with pride, 'Home, at long last.' -
Things were going terribly wrong.
Craddling her broken arm on her lap, Lea fought the rise of nausea the grating of broken bones caused each time she moved.
So much for posturing about the heroes being arrogant, how easy it was to fall into the same when all seemed to be going well. This was a small planet with big guns and for a while it looked as if they were going to push the Rikti after a series of won battles.
And yet.. And yet..
Heavy stomps of an armored alien came closer to the bench where Lea was hidding under and she crawled deeper into the dirt, but the steps carried on without stopping.
The raiding had been a violent push, she had heard as much as three different sirens going off at the same time and had headed to Atlas, it being the closest.
It was a scene of disaster. it had started as usual, powers being fired, small talk, but once the tide of Rikti had begun it soon became a tsunami. Being at waist level she couldn't even see what was happening though at a certain point she noticed far less screams and far far less coloured costumes in a sea of dull green and grey.
It was by then she was starting to get overhelmed. Too many at once, too many fists, too many great glowing swords and ionised gun blasts. As much as she took and tried to use far more came until she had reeled back and disappeared under a pile of Rikti whose fists and swords rose and fell tirelessly upon the crumpled small white form.
It was a big blur of pain of which she just barely remembered a spandex wearing hero unleashing a mighty gale of wind that tossed the aliens away like matchsticks. An eye was almost closed shut and when he grinned there was a bloody gap in an otherwise perfect smile. Unshakeable optimism just poured from him and if her ringing ears were able to catch the words his moving lips were forming she was sure they would be inspiring and uplifting. He was healing her and trying to keep the gale going at the same time.. For a few seconds it looked as if it was going to work and then with a spray of red mist his head just disappeared.
His body twitched in the air for an agonizing second before crumpling to the ground and shimmering away under the mediport's activation. She doubted even the great medical facilities could do something for him.
She was having trouble breathing and the red puddle where the hero had fallen were forcing hysterical tears to her eyes whenever she happened to glance its way.
Then, silence... She risked crawling from under the bench and look over. The aliens, all of them, chillingly moving as if a single unit had stopped and looked at the sky before disappearing in their familiar green glow.
They had left, but why? They had won this one. -
((For not reason at all, I'm compiling Leandrea's updates as she gets started on her new life in CoH))
"So, how mmmmuch forrr it?"
Leandrea was reigning in her patience as the jeweller took his time awing and humming while poking the small, flat bar of gold he was hunched over. He was the third and by now Lea's expectations were lower and lower, each one before him had started to ask questions and probing the provenience of the gold, to which her (at first truthful, and then progressively vague) answers weren't satisfactory.
The tiny white feline took the time to examine her surroundings. It was certainly a seedier shop than the first two. Dust was gathering on the flat surfaces, the shinnies in display weren't particulary pretty or in good condition and above all, it was cramped, the shop itself crammed between two buildings of a back alley. On her own she would never have found it.
A throat clearing noise from the bent man made her look back, small beads of sweat were pearling his brow and the little cat found herself slightly disgusted from the display and rank smell.
'Hairless apes...'
The thought remained in her head such as her hands firmly in her pockets. She was small in her previous world, though average in her original one, but in this one she was smaller than a young human child and at fifty years old the patronizing tones and 'little one' comments were wearing thin.
Especially as she was so thrice damned powerless. It was a sobering sight to give all she had against a Rikti and see how it withstood her, she who had been able to put down a building with a single well aimed blast. As it was she no longer could fly (a cold grip at the base of her stomach at the loss of that freedom), her strength was average for her size and her speed was baseline. No blasts, no healing others, no resilience.
With a slight shiver the feline tried to focus on what she *could* still do. She could still absorb energy, she could still digest it and use it in a punch, she could still steal the kinetic energy of a physical blow in order to neuter most of it, or absorb an energy blast in order to deflect most of its destructiveness. And she could use that energy to boost her self-healing. But it was all so basic. New world, new rules, it would take some heavy duty meditating to attune herself to the similar-yet-slightly-different laws of physics.
Leaving the pawnkeeper to his own devices (undoubtly trying to work how to swindle her further, Lea thought) the little cat pondered the last two days.
The Rikti had been coming strong and her initial unwillingness to join in the resistance had been suddenly shattered when a small invasion fleet attacked Galaxy City as she was there.
Joining others who were present she found herself recruited in a small team of.. of... At this point the poetic justic would be saying of grim, hard faced fighters. But in truth other than that deliciously hunky wolf the rest were taking it as some sort of fun adventure, something which Lea attributed to the outstanding medical facilities and what the heroes called 'medi-port' which transported them to the hospital if their vital signs reached dangerous levels. It did remove much of the 'hero' in heroing, but it was certainly safer, and prone to allow truly dangerous levels of arrogance. Few seemed to take the invasion seriously.
The two days and nights had blurred by then. Some of the small team left to be replaced by others, but the fighting had been non stop, the raid sirens had been a constant and she was exhausted as much from the fighting as from running from one place to the other while the others flew, or jumped. The absorbed energy from the Rikti blasts only did so much to sustain her stamina with so little food and littler rest stolen between the raids.
Of those frantic days she only remembered glimpses of those who had shared the battles. Psionic Song, who was like a radio station, picking the mental impulses of the Rikti and chillingly addopting their manner of speech while guiding them to the landing spots. Molly, the pink armed-to-the-teeth teen with a seeming endless supply of bullets. Someone truly huge fittingly called Big Lunk, who easily tore through the Rikti she was barely denting with a sword in each huge meaty paw. And of course, the wolf, Loup Garou as a discreet enquiry revealed, who had distincly chilled his warm smile once she had flirted a few times with him.
Rubbing her gritty feeling eyes Lea decided this world was certainly operating on its own set of rules, so far each little flirt had not only been rebuffed but pretty much had her ostracized by whomever had caught her eye.
"So, where did you get this?" Lea was shaken from her exhausted flashback by the reedy voice. There was greed in it, expertly hidden in a bored tone, but he really should stop holding both hands possessively cupped over the gold bar and sweating so visibly for it to be believed.
'Well you see, this is the fourth world I've found myself in and by now I would call myself a veteran. You can't carry much, and there's always a need for lodging and food until getting used to the new culture. Gold is an universal trade commodity and is always valued as long as it's real, natural, neither man made of magicked up. So I bought it and brough it over instead of money that would be toy cash here.'
"Stole it," Lea said instead, having perfectly recognized the type of pawnshop and shopkeeper she was dealing with.
The man's eyes just about shone in happyness. -

Yes and a huge one.Slots etc.

but I'm pondering the use of Weave
[/ QUOTE ]
Tough i can live with altho is kinda pointless in PvP to be honest considering is res against smashing lethal which leaves only gimpled sets i guess.Weave well useless imho unless you closing on soft defense cap and want this extra little something.
As far as the build goes.Try to boost +HP and regen and recovery in my opinion.
[/ QUOTE ]
Tough and Weave would be for PVE, true. As a WP tank my defenses are good more statisticly instead of a solid thing I can depend on. That's why I don't think Weave does much as it still leaves so far off anything of use, then again SoW gives 40% res to SL but only 20% to the rest. I'm left wondering which one would be of more use, but I'm leaning towards SoW.
Regarding the levels, barring slots there is no purple patch (the higher the level the less damage and harder to hit it becomes) over PvP, or is there?
The build has capped HP for tanks with both HP accolades. I forgot to put the second accolade in the build but am working on it currently. The cap seems to be 3.2k according to what I've read. I've also capped regen as far as I could see with the powers I chose (if I had taken aid other + aid self and laser eyes I would've been able to squeeze in more regen), but am currently sitting at 724% once all slotted.
I'm willing to hear any tips as PvPers usually have a good grasp of game mechanics and builds. -
So I tried a small bit of PvP last against a friend, he was a WP/SS tank and I was playing my WP/EM. I thought I would do a good show of myself, and I guess since he didn't manage to make my HP bar move despite being level 50 and me 43 could be considered good, but on the other hand neither did I budge his bar.
We wailed on each other for a minute or so and neither managed to hurt the other. I had thought a EM could output damage enough to hurt, but even with hasten and able to do my usual BU + ET + BS + TF + BS + ET I barely dimpled his bar.
Granted, he was running with Tough and Weave. The only difference was that his blue bar was going down while mine stayed at max, but this was probably because of running Tough/weave/FA, I doubt it would've been enough to win.
Does the level difference have any impact in PvP?
Anyway, I'm going to grab Tough soon-ish, but I'm pondering the use of Weave (I'm a PvEr btw, but these forums are so dead that any question I make tends to just gather dust instead of replies, so I'm trying my luck in this section).
I kinda doubt those 7% will make a huge difference and was pondering grabbing SoW instead for AVs and the ocasional PvP.
Any thoughts?
My build (I'm 43 atm and haven't bough all the Numinas neither the uniques yet), everything else is slotted. As a PvE tank I focused on +HP and +regen, as well as grabbing all 5% recharge times. Maybe shuffle things and put a LoTG on each defense power?

After the good show that had been made by Infinitron and Pyro, the fight between Leandrea and Obsidian Dream was a definite downer as the small cat girl spent a good five minutes just slowly trudging through a majestic snow storm her adversary had caused.
After five minutes of crawling in the direction of someone who just sauntered out of the way while pelting her with ice, Lea eventually was overcome without having landed a single hit, or getting close enough to do so. -
Didn't miss much, I got immediatly remembered why I never touch PvP.

Like Loup, I find it tricky to harmonise my OOC PVP ability with some of my characters' IC combat abilities. Some of them would, IC, be about as much use as Norman Wisdom in a wrestling match with Godzilla, but others are supposed to be a bit more competent, and although IC it's convincing that someone like Liberty Girl or Bambi Delight would find themselves whupped by experienced opponents like (and just off the top of my head, here, just plucking names out of the air as they occur to me) a Cassandra Zero, a Tiger White, a Shadowe or a Loup Garou, getting creamed by the aforementioned diminutive level 6 kitty-scrapper just throws me a curve when it comes to thinking up an explanation.

I think one of the problems here is that people want to be good without actually being good. Why insist in being a superb fighter if not? Granted that it's not an answer and certainly not a popular answer for the RP crowd, but insisting in being what is, for all purposes, a PvP God while not being one can and does bring this kind of problem.
Now I can say that there is always someone stronger out there. A Wolverine against a Juggernaut gets his [censored] kicked despite being a superb fighter and very tough to put down.
But, still keeping with the Wolverine reasoning, he still gets kicked around often enough that even if he is a benchmark on toughness and fighting, it becomes obvious there *always* is someone bigger and faster out there. There should be no desperate search for excuses, it just is.
We even get Spider-Man kicking Firelord [censored], who was a Galactus herald and several dozens of times above his power level, just because he keeps on fighting, never gives up and uses the terrain to his advantage.
Someone faster who gets out of the way of powerful but slow blows, someone so tough that a faster opponent keeps on landing hits but they don't cause enough damage, someone who does not use any sort of martial arts (being a pure brawler) against someone who does use martial arts and ends up confusing the martial artist because his moves are all 'wrong', but terribly effective, or vice versa, the martial artist capable of reading the brawler's telegraphed moves and meeting him half way.
The explanations just carry on. I think the only real problem arises when someone RPs being so good and powerful and skilled that then yeah, they go 'Oh dear.. How on earth am I going to explain this?' if they lose instead of just going, 'Yeah, he's better than I am.'
That said, I wouldn't mind joining for a few rounds and test Lea in Pee Vee Pee ^^ -
Y'know, that's actually something I've though about and the previous reason why not using the mask. How many four feet tall white cat who speak with a thick/rolling accent and have pink pom poms of death exist out there?
-
[ QUOTE ]
Why would the cops suffer an illegal vigilante in a city stuffed FULL of registered superheroes?
[/ QUOTE ]
You're correct, and it's a weak part of my rationalizating, ergo the mask would be a good idea... BUT!
If it means registered heroes will add two + two (hostages letting it slip it was a four feet tall white cat who rescued them, despite being told not to tell the cops, or those found tied down describbing the same person, and no records of such person being registered) and come knock at Lea's door, then... more RP!
Yay! We wuvs the RP =^^= -
[ QUOTE ]
Points to ponder if your char isn't a registered hero of Paragon City.
How do you get in to the hazard zones? These are sealed against anyone not authorised to be in them.
How do you get your missions? The contact system is based around you being registereed.
How do you take part in the task force missions? These are handed out by senior heroes in the city, and they're not going to hand over such important missions to illegal vigilantes!
How do you explain that the cops and other heroes aren't trying to arrest you? You're an illegal vigilante; you'd be on the arrest list.
[/ QUOTE ]
As someone playing a non-registered hero at the moment, here's how I do it.
First, I don't do missions for contacts (I did do the Crotoa ones, even if RPed as 'you help me fend off the undead off my home, I help you with your problem'. It's a rationalization and a bit weak at that, though I reckon anyone desperate for help against the Cabal, Redcaps, Fir Bolg and Tual Danon (or how it's spelled) will glady take what comes).
Mediport? Don't use it. It does help to play a tank, but I'm always stocked with awakens.
Since I don't do missions I don't go to Hazard zones either. The only one is Vanguard, and though it could be argued that my solution was shaky IC, it seemed like a reasonable one (a senior hero well ranked within the Vanguard vouching that Lea can handle herself). I did think about security clearances and Vanguard secrets, but villains are given access and they, much more than a neutral or hero, would have reason to abuse such secrets.
As for TFs, the leader of the TF is the senior hero entrusted with helping, doesn't necesseraly have to be the non-registered meta.
Okay, all of this is not canon, I'm just winging it but the reasoning seems kinda solid.
As someone who has leveled three levels 50 I don't feel a pang of need out of not playing contacts and have only done radio missions mostly solo that are either run OOC or run IC as a job. The latest one is collecting left horns from behemoths which a magic shop wants as ingredients.
Granted, this is done with the SG's AI cracking the police radio band in order to know where trouble is brewing. Much like a Batman (but much less altruistic), she swoops in before the cops/other heroes arrive, deals with the situation and then collects whatever it is she came for. The dagger the museum lost? They'll be happy in recovering it for a small fee and probably skip all the court hearings which might take months to resolve while the dagger is kept as evidence.
Again, simple rationalizings which might actually not be true, but I think that they are solid-ish enough to be played as.
The only two things I think I should have done/do is actually wear a mask to not be recognized as a vigilante. Though again it's probably a bit like the Batman example, a vigilante acting outside the law with the cops well pleased to have someone who can deal with super powered villains.
Am I over-thinking things and simplifying others? Probably, but (no offense to all RPers out there), CoH's RP is thin as it is and I don't think it's any worse than that I've found out there. -
I confess I tried and didn't like DB. I found the animations too slow and the damage too low and in DoTs.
Probably more of a personal thing, as EM (my latest tank in a line of Ice/Fire and WP/SS) also has it's share of rooting and slow animations, but DB... dunno. I tried two honest times as it seems an AoE machine, which is something I like, but no cigar. Granted I never got past level 15. -
Ok, for starters you got two +10% regen that surpass the 5-of-a-kind bonuses, so mix and match and remove them.
You have waaaay too much acc on your attacks, says I, maybe look into, instead, slotting 5 Crushing Impact as they give a rather good set of bonuses, includin +recharge. Kinda expensive at around 2 mill each, but if you're slotting Numinas then it's an expensive build anyway.
There's some little things here and there but nothing much. I can only say to check my own post a few threads below, the 'WP/EM IO build tips' as I built mostly like yours but tried to squeeze in all I could. Lost some +HP bonuses but the cap is at 3.2k anyway and once you colect the accolades that give +HP it's pretty easy to reach that. -
[ QUOTE ]
Part of the problem is inherent in the very concept of a hi-tech armour suit. Since it generally costs so much money, anyone who has one would tend to be either stinking rich, or is in hock to an army or corp.
[/ QUOTE ]
One of the reasons I shy away from tech origin and powers. I overthink things, true, but playing someone who has a suit, or gloves, leads me to think of a few things:
We're super rich (not just rich) in order to afford it.
We're super smart to have made it and also repair it.
We are *not* super smart, so instead we are part of an organization which leads back to us being super rich or being employed by said organization.
None of these entice me for RP purposes. Being employed, being rich, being super smart.
So personally I stick to characters a la Lea, self-powered and independent, even if struggling for a living but their powers sure help in said struggle.
Though it's true that there are organic armors and magic ones, neither of them really fits the theme of a battle suit. They are the new kids. Battle armor is Iron Man such as saying a super-man hero is SS and Invuln. -
True, true, but it's more for light PvP. Flying gets the shaft and PvP is too much of a mad bouncy kangoroo thing. I've no skills for it so I'll let the pros have their fun ^^
-
Unsure if anyone's paying attention, and the replies were their usual scarce, but taking the tips given, I went for this as my current build.
Lost some HP bonuses (though if I get all the accolades I max HP anyway), lost some regen (though still at a respectable 724% - 92 HP with one mob), lost some end recovery but gained more offense and still have Tough/Weave/FA for when a situation warrants it. As a plus I think the build is viable for some light PvP even though I don't indulge.

Another build attempt, though this one is so expensive I'd be until I13 to earn the funds for it
Tried the medecine route this time. If I collect all +HP accolades I reach the HP cap, same as the previous build. This one does have a lot more regen though, as well as 20% recharge and 28% +acc, ergo the lower ACC in the attacks.
But all the Numimas in it make the build a billionaire thing:

I have to say I don't see much of a difference with and without the 2.5% bonus (I believe it was a +0.70% end recovery when all added), but I fail to see the gain of Reactive Armor (1,25% def to energy) or 4 slots of Kinetic Impact (3.75% def to Smash). Both those gains are situational (AKA useless if fighting non smash or non energy mobs) whereas HP gains will work against both.
I didn't aim for the 2.5% recovery, btw, they just came along as I went for the HP bonuses. Being a powerset that focuses on being a big HP bag and lots of regen, I kinda fail to see how it can be termed useless when enhancing that strong suit.
As for the uniques of Numina and Miracle you're correct, they aren't world shattering, but as I posted, it will be the very last thing I'll add, only after everything being propperly slotted. Not to mention there isn't a single set bonus that, by itself, is world shattering, but rather the sum of them.
Anyway, I'm open to tips, but if you could point me the reasoning it would help so I could learn. I confess I don't bother much with the +def bonuses but mathematicly speaking they might yeld a better result than pure HP. -
Greetings,
I've been toying with my new tank and just finished giving the last tweaks over Mids last night.
Looks good on paper and *reasonably* not too expensive (barring the uniques Numinas/Miracles/Regenerative Tissue) but those are in very very last).
I've maxed the 1.3%, 1.5% and 1.8% HP as well as the 2.5% recovery and 10% regen. In fact there's one extra 2.5% but since I wanted to grab the fifth and last 1.8% bonus and didn't see where to fit it anywhere, I let that superfluous 2.5% stay.
My last power was going to be something random such as Ressurgence, but after fighting CoT last night I was pretty peeved off at so much -acc and decided to pick Focused Accuracy instead. Unfortunatly I have no slots to spare, so it will only be turned on and off as necessity warrants, not to be used all the time. More of a anti -acc debuff than a real acc buff, y'know?
Random thoughts: Change Build Up for FA and use its slots. I have 5 attacks. Air superiority, Energy Punch and Bone Smasher *should* make a seamless attack chain on their own, and ET and TF used sparingly on tough bosses (first EM tank, so I never actually played with EF and TF before). I wonder if the endurance drain won't be too much considering all the recharge I've foisted on the attacks, maybe change things around, lose some recharge and put more endurance reduction?
Tips? Criticism?

And the Ms, don't forget rolling the Ms too :> I figured, why keep on insisting that she speaks with a thick accent when I can just do it. The rolling of the Ms are supposed to be because she drawls a lot and extends the words further than what is the 'normal' way, but she's an alien of my invention, I get to say how my aliens talk ^^
