  1. A Tankers job is do soak up damage so they get a bonus to their resistances. Scrappers and Brutes make up for this by dealing more damage.

How can you complain that Brutes have to wait 8 more levels to get an inferior version of Unyielding when they're getting powers like Knockout Blow at level 8 compared to a Tanker at level 20?

Powers are balanced by the grand scheme of the archetype, not via individual powers so it's not fair to compare power for power versus the various archetypes. Brutes are more than fine as they are.
  2. Longbow Nullifiers do not have any such power. They do not have any attacks that remove buffs or any detoggle effects.

High level Longbow Spec Ops have EMP Grenade that drains a lot of Endurance which might have been what you experienced. They've killed me by draining my remaining Endurance which turned off Granite Armor. They're minions though so they're easily killed and should be dealt with immediately.
  3. I tested this and it is possible to reach full fury for a brief period of time. You need to get attacked by several critters (preferably bosses) at the same time and will probably die by the burst damage but you can hit the 1.0 fury mark. Some of you may have experienced this but were too preoccupied with the whole dying thing without realizing you were at max fury.

I think what's misleading is that the fury bar isn't as precise as we'd like it to be. It goes up and down in increments of .1 so even though you're at .99 fury, the bar will look as if you're at .9 fury.

For all you numbers people, we're going to change fury to display in the 100s. When you right-click on the fury bar, you'll no longer see it display as 0.0/1.0. It will be displayed as 0/100 so you can see how close you are to hitting the max. Please keep in mind that this won't visually change the fury meter.

Note: Edited post so it says you need to get attacked by several critters instead of hit by several critters.

I apologize. The change should take effect in the next full build. I thought the latest patch was a full build but I was wrong.

    Dark Armor drone

This was fixed with the latest patch. The droning fades away after 10 seconds.
  6. My favorite moment in CoV (think I was around level 10 at the time):

25% Health, very low Endurance, high Fury, only a single Inspiration left (Defense), spawn of 3 minions in front of me. Rest is recharge and I'm about to hit it when I think screw it, I'm going in. Luckily the first guy dropped a Heal Inspiration. Not sure if I wouldn't made it without it. Fury makes you do dumb things.
  7. Not really sure what happened but the sounds for Dark Armor still aren't fading away. I'll let Sound know so we can get this fixed right away.

The fade to Mud Pots is in as is the one for Super Speed. I also asked Sound to fade some of the Warshade toggles, namely Orbiting Death, Shadow Cloak and Nebulous Form.

    Dark Armor Sound

I've seen a lot of complaints about this so I brought it up before we went live. We changed it so certain toggle effects fade out but it didn't make it into live. Dark Armor shouldn't be so bad anymore once this gets updated. The same goes for Mud Pots.
  9. The single-target Taunt is not supposed to work in PvP. If it is, it will be fixed in the next build.
  10. Brutes have an inherent taunt on their attack powers but it's only single target and affects the target you're attacking. Brutes can slot their attack powers so they have a greater taunt effect on them.

The Tanker's Gauntlet inherent ability effects nearby enemies instead of just 1 target but up to a maximum of 5 enemies.
  11. At higher levels Brutes get the power to summon Synapse and throw him at enemies as a range attack.
  12. These are all excellent suggestions! Brutes are great soloers so if you're having trouble with it, try some of these helpful tips.
